I requested a cancellation of a 4 night stay on the sonder app. They responded that they had cancelled the reservation. After inquiring where my refund was they stated I did not cancel my reservation. And coincidentally the whole history on the sonder app chat board disappeared. Also a customer service representative hung up on me. I have spent 2 hours on the phone with them with no resolve. I was also told that it could be up to two days for a manager to return my call.
I was instructed to contact booking.com and they told me to contact sonder.
Claimed loss: $1350.00
Desired outcome: Credit to my credit card for amount charged for stay.
