Solar Alternatives

I signed $205,000 contract with solar alternatives August 2022 for 40kw system. Prepaid 1/3. 100 x 400 watt solar panels, 6 tesla power walls, Yotta microinverters. Contract listed job completion end of September however it was completed December 2022. They were working without current license in Orleans parish. Incompetent office personnel, pure chaos. Although electrical technicians were knowledgable., solar panel installers were migrant works from out of state and messed up most of installation.

June 2023, persistent problems with only 70% efficiency max at 28kw. Customer service is the worst. Once paid they now do not answer me or attempt to fix and i have a 10 year service warranty.

Yotta Energy and Solar Alternatives are bad news.

It's apparent they only respond when they need cash. very unprofessional.

They do not know what they are doing.

I don't know much about solar panels, but Solar Alternatives was supposed to make sure ours were working right. They came out twice, and I thought everything was good. But our bills were still high, and when I looked closer, I saw that we weren't producing any solar power. We paid $320 for them to check everything, clean the panels, and fix any problems. But they didn't do their job, and now I'm out of money and still not getting any solar power. They didn't tell us about any issues before or after they came out.
