Firefly was on top of the install from beginning to end. My system has been in operation for a couple of years and there has never been a problem in the least.

Best experience I could ask for. I was about to sign up with another company and I was not happy with the experience from the other solar company. Firefly solar went above and beyond they installed everything how I wanted. They helped me fight my Homeowners association. I don't believe any other company would have taken that challenge on with me. I've very thankful for the staff. Customer service was amazing from the sales (James) to the office (Jessica) you made the experience awesome.

I highly recommend this company. I got over 10 quotes online and in person for several months before I chose firefly. Kris Mason was my sales guy and he was very responsive and kept me up to date along the process. The quote was great and they were able to accommodate my equipment desires. Permitting took the longest in the whole process, delaying a few weeks longer than anticipated. But that's all dependent on the county. Install went smoothly over two days. The staff was very professional and install looks great. I'm still awaiting inspection and PTO as the install just finished yesterday. They look amazing. A little tip for anyone looking to buy Solar. Always start with quotes using cash prices. Then if you desire financing through any company, know that the finance companies will tack on a “dealer fee" which can be enormous. I went with cash price then used a HELOC to avoid dealer fees. Also, not always possible but shoot for a price per watt less than $3/watt (divide total price by watts DC). It can vary depending on your area and available installers. And this is in 2022, who knows how prices will change in the future.

We've had amazing experience with Firefly. Starting with our first point of contact Ron, he was super excellent and very knowledgeable. He patiently answered all out questions, we'd so many questions and he clarified all with detailed information & with supporting facts too. And he was available even after signing the contract and updating us for each step. Even after we've system up & running now and we have some questions & he is easily available still (unlike other sales people). I would suggest starting a discussion with Ron if you've thinking about going Solar. Firefly's installation crew was on the same line, they were awesome and also answered all my silly questions patiently. They were so great that I'd email the company as well about their work perfection & friendliness. Jeremiah & Hope from the Firefly's office were amazing too. They made the process so simple that it removes the stress from the customer's mind. They were very quick to file the necessary paperwork with the respective agencies and even with the holiday season (Nov/Dec) they got things rolling & got approvals as well. If I'd the selection to rate more than 5 stars, I would happily do that for this company. Highly highly recommended.

Recently I received a $12, 235.40 invoice from Firefly Solar for cancelling the solar panel installation and financial agreement presented by the company. The non-itemized invoice reflects their lack of fiduciary accountability regarding the confidence and trust that I placed in them to assist and advise me for proper placement of solar panels for my home. The amount specified and in question consists of a 50 minute zoom call consultation and someone reviewing where the panels would be located in the rear of the home. Nothing more nothing less. No equipment or services were installed or provided and others should be aware of such tactics. I was initially on board for placement and based on a single $350 electric bill was convinced I needed 40 solar panels at 60K for 25 years. However, this information was not accurate and misleading. I know this because two other solar panel companies said that 1.) a panel quote could not be given with only one bill. 2.) The location chosen wasn't the best and is further away from the meter and would cost more. 3.) It would take at least 4 electric bill payments to determine proper installation and finances necessary to do the install. It was at this point when I began to research the company and found out that they were initially Palmetto Solar and for some reason changed names. I then went to the ComplaintsBoard.com site to find out they had a 3.81/5 review with 90 complaints that were closed in the last 3 years and 65 complaints closed in the last 12 months. It appeared to be an attempt to gouge me out of a large sum of cash and at this point I ask that this company discontinue to try and reach out to me with a blanketed invoice asking for payment.

Our personal "Thanks" to Hennessy and the entire Palmetto State Solar staff. They delivered on every step of the process as promised - exceeding our expectations. Everyone was very knowledgeable, professional and willing to take time to explain in detail answers to all our questions. I personally spent a good amount of time with each member of the Team that participated in the installation of our Solar system. Ms. Hennessy, the sales/marketing rep., was super helpful and knowledgeable about the system. She set clear expectations about what we should, and should not, expect out of a solar system. She went into great detail on every step of the process; The purchase, the financing, installation, rebates, the expected energy efficiencies & system performance. The scheduling and installation process was delivered on-time as promised. The Lead Project technician met with me for an extensive review of the system design, layout and installation process. The Install Team was very professional and they too took time to demonstrate the system operations, how to troubleshoot and explained how the system would operate and co-mingle with Firefly Solar's system. We as Homeowners could not have had a better experience. Palmetto Solar was exceptionally professional. Each individual that we interacted with was very knowledgeable of their products, each product's performance capabilities and helped make us feel comfortable about the decision that we ultimately made. Since the system was installed and operational, Palmetto State Solar has followed up to inquire of our level of satisfaction and asked if we had any questions or concerns. I would rate the entire Palmetto State Solar Team an A+ and would recommend them over all other solar installation contractors we had talked to. I spent a good many hours talking with several solar contractors before selecting Palmetto State Solar as our contractor. JOB WELL DONE! Firefly Solar is the best!
