I’m writing as a longtime, loyal customer who truly values your commitment to health, quality, and consistency. Since 2016, Smoothie King has been my go-to for nutritious, delicious smoothies that align perfectly with my vegan lifestyle. Your Vegan Nutty Supergrain Smoothie, especially with my customizations, has been a favorite — rich, thick, and packed with flavor and nutrients.
However, I’ve experienced recurring issues that I hope you’ll take seriously. On multiple occasions, the smoothie has been made incorrectly — watery, bland, and with full ice cubes still present. It’s disappointing when the flavor and texture fall short of the high standards I’ve come to expect. What’s more frustrating is that the app doesn’t allow me to add special instructions to ensure my customizations are followed. I always substitute bananas with ginger and apple juice with spinach to reduce sugar and enhance flavor. When made correctly, this combination is absolutely delicious.
Unfortunately, today was another letdown. Despite asking for a remake, the second smoothie was still watery and lacked the rich, nutty taste I love. I didn’t want to inconvenience the staff further, but I left disappointed. I’ve submitted surveys in the past hoping for a response, but I’ve never heard back. I’m reaching out now because I truly want to continue supporting Smoothie King, but I need to feel heard.
That said, I also want to highlight a positive experience. A big shout-out to Miguel M. at the Tucson Market Place location in Tucson, Arizona. After a long break from Smoothie King due to quality concerns, I returned today — and Miguel made my smoothie perfectly. It was thick, flavorful, and exactly how it should be. His kindness and attention to detail made a huge difference, and I hope he receives recognition for his excellent service.
Please consider adding a notes section to the app for custom orders and reinforcing training on consistency for this smoothie. I’m passionate about health and nutrition, and Smoothie King has always been a brand I trust. I’d love to continue being a frequent customer, but I need confidence that my order will be made correctly.
