Fruugo allows sellers to sell fake products.
I ordered a 2 litre bottle of OlaPlex from Fruugo Australia. I received 8 x 250ml bottles. The first sign that the product is FAKE is that the labels were buckled and the lids were not wrapped in plastic (as they are when they are genuine).
When I opened the first bottle the signature OlaPlex fragrance wasn’t there. The colour of the product is also different to the genuine product. And the consistency of the FAKE product is completely different to the genuine product.
I have contacted Fruugo who have said they will fix it but they don’t. They allow a seller to continue to sell FAKE product.
Desired outcome: Refund for the fake product
Nightmare Experience with Shop Your Way: Appalling Service and Customer Care
As a customer who has had the unfortunate experience of buying from Shop Your Way, I must say that I am extremely disappointed with the level of service provided. What started off as a simple transaction turned into a nightmare.
To begin with, the item that I ordered was shipped to me in a completely different box and it was not even the original one. I was taken aback by this shoddy treatment but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. However, when the broken product arrived at my doorstep, I was beyond frustrated. The item had been shipped using three boxes and they had been taped together rather haphazardly. I had to spend valuable time trying to put the box back together myself as Shop Your Way refused to send me a new one or even the proper box to return the item.
To make matters worse, after the product was returned, I was informed that my refund would be processed within a few days. However, it has now been almost 2 months and I am yet to receive my refund. I have written countless emails and made several calls but there seems to be no end to my frustration.
Furthermore, their online sales department is an absolute disaster. I found their representatives to be very unhelpful and they often did not listen to what I had to say. If they were unsure of how to fix a problem, they would simply put the call on hold or even worse, walk away with their headset on. During one instance, I was even transferred to Citibank awards department. What on earth does that have to do with my purchase from Shop Your Way?
What is most infuriating is that they have an "escalation department" that is supposedly designed to assist customers with complaints, but you cannot actually speak to anyone in that department. It seems like they are only interested in making a sale and once they have your money, they forget about you.
In conclusion, I strongly advise anyone to stay away from Shop Your Way. Their service is appalling, their customer care is non-existent, and they have no regard for their customers. There are plenty of online retailers that provide better service and value for your money.
Shop Your Way Rewards Program Falls Short: Unreliable Points and Poor Customer Care
I recently received an email from Shop Your Way notifying me that I had $20 in surprise points. Excited to make a purchase, I browsed their website and added a variety of items to my cart. Unfortunately, one of the items did not meet my expectations, so I decided to return it. I drove out of state to the nearest store location for the return, and the clerk I spoke with informed me that I would receive my points back for the item.
As I attempted to make a purchase using my points, I soon realized that I only had $0.34 left in points. Confused and frustrated, I immediately contacted customer service to inquire about my missing points. Unfortunately, the original offer had since expired, and I was informed that I would not be receiving my points back. Had the clerk at the store informed me about this, I would have kept the shoes and given them away to someone else instead.
To add to my disappointment, I had also purchased $25 worth of candy with the expectation of using my $19.99 in points towards the purchase, only to find that I had only accrued $0.34 worth of points. The representative I spoke with assured me that it would just take time for the points to show up, but that was not the case.
To make matters worse, I never received the $5 bonus that I was supposed to receive for buying the candy. Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied with the Shop Your Way program and its lack of customer care. This experience has left me with a sense of distrust towards the company and its supposed rewards program.

Shopyourway.com Review: Don't Waste Your Time or Money on This Site with No Customer Support
If you're considering using shopyourway.com, you might want to think twice. This site is supposed to offer points to users that can be redeemed for rewards. However, many users have reported that they are unable to redeem their points due to technical issues. After attempting to redeem points, frustrated customers report that they are not receiving the verification emails they need to proceed.
To make matters worse, the automated customer service response provided by Keto, the bouncing blue head online, is less than helpful. This automated response instructs users to contact customer service for help, but when they attempt to do so they find there is no actual customer service available. Upon calling the customer service line, users are met with a recorded voice that says someone should be available between the hours of 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Unfortunately, as reported by several users, there is never anyone available to help.
Even attempting to email the supposed customer service email address has been met with complete silence, causing users to feel helpless and frustrated. When dealing with a company that claims to offer a service, it is extremely disappointing to be met with such a lack of customer support.
Based on these reports, it's clear that shopyourway.com is a company that you should avoid. If you're experiencing similar issues with them, it may be worth filing a complaint with the attorney general and cancelling your card. Save yourself the headache and find another company to work with that values their customers and provides the support they deserve.
Disappointing Customer Service Experience with Shop Your Way Mastercard
My personal experience with Shop Your Way (shopyourway.com) was less than satisfactory. I had purchased an item for $58.78 and sent a first-class mail overnight delivery with a money order on March 11, 2022. The delivery was supposed to be made on March 12th at 6:00 pm. However, after contacting the US Postal Service customer service, I learned that my order had been picked up on March 14th at 1:39 am and signed by A. Wilson.
To my surprise, my card was immediately blocked, and my card was showing as delinquent while Shop Your Way waited for the US Postal Money order to clear before releasing the funds. Unfortunately, I couldn't fathom why such a thing happened, and Shop Your Way Mastercard refused to cooperate with me. When I contested that March 11th was an overnight delivery, they even denied receiving it.
However, the most surprising thing was that my card was considered delinquent and blocked even though it was only one day late. I had paid $26.95 for overnight delivery services that may have been delivered two days late. I feel like the service I received was below expectations, considering the amount of money I spent on shipping. They should have been more understanding and helpful in resolving the matter instead of being dismissive of my claims. It's a pity that such a promising platform has such poor customer service.
Shop Your Way: Frustrations with Point Redemption and Product Availability
As someone who has been a loyal member of Shop Your Way (shopyourway.com), I have experienced some frustrations lately. Due to the recent closing of local Sears and Kmart stores, it has become increasingly difficult to redeem my points for the desired items I want. I have found that many of these items are not available in my area and if I choose delivery, these items cannot be shipped to my zipcode. It's frustrating to feel like I'm constantly chasing a moving target. I certainly don't have the ability or resources to move to an eligible area just to redeem my points.
One of the biggest concerns I have is that with the rate of store closings, I fear that no one will be able to redeem their points for anything. It almost feels like a scam, and it's causing me to want to back away from the program altogether. I truly believe that nobody wins anything anymore. However, when the program first began, I was able to redeem my points for some meager but usable household items. It was convenient to have them shipped to the Sears store for me to pick up. Unfortunately, it has gone downhill from there.
I am disappointed to report that in the clothing section, most items are either out of stock or the size selection is limited to mouse or elephant sizes. Why bother even offering these items if they're not going to be available in the sizes customers need? It's just a waste of my time and energy. I wish that the company would just be honest with their customers and shut it down if they can't provide a satisfactory service.
Overall, it's frustrating to feel like I'm wasting my time with a company that can't deliver on their promises. I hope that Shop Your Way finds a way to improve their offering or that they will be honest and upfront with their customers about the limitations of their program. Until then, I will be seeking other options for my shopping needs.
Poor Customer Service Experience with Shop Your Way Rewards Program
My experience with Shop Your Way was quite disappointing to say the least. Upon placing an order with Sears, I received a message stating that I had earned almost $16 worth of items with my purchase and had a week to cash in on it. Excited about the opportunity to earn rewards, I decided to order another item worth $15 and applied the credit towards it, only to find out later on that I was supposed to pay just $7 for shipping.
To my dismay, the total that went through on my card was $23 instead of what I was expecting to pay. Naturally, I decided to call their customer service for assistance. I waited for over an hour on hold before the line went dead. I then had to call back and wait another 35 minutes to speak to a representative.
After finally getting through to a representative, she informed me that there was a point glitch and that they needed to cancel my order, advising that I call back the next day to re-order it to ensure the points went through.
To my surprise, despite being told it was canceled, I received a notification that the item had actually shipped. This outcome left me feeling ripped off, especially given I wouldn't have ordered the item if I had known I was going to be charged full price. This experience was a complete waste of my time and left me feeling utterly frustrated.
Mixed experience with Shop Your Way rewards program
As an avid user of Shop Your Way (shopyourway.com) for over a year, I can say that my experience has been a mixed bag. While I've consistently earned points through Gasbuddy, which can be exchanged for merchandise on the platform, I have also had several issues with the shopping and checkout process.
One of the most frustrating elements of using Shop Your Way is that the points I earn do not cover the cost of shipping, which can be quite high. Additionally, I have found that there are limited products available for point redemption, and even when I do find something, it may not be in stock or there could be errors during the checkout process.
Recently I encountered a problem where the system would not allow me to pay, and after restarting the transaction, I was charged full price without any points applied. I reached out to customer service in an attempt to rectify the issue, but was met with unhelpful responses. Despite explaining the company's error and asking for a refund, I was told that nothing could be changed and that I could still use the remaining points in my account.
This experience left me feeling frustrated and disappointed, especially given the high cost of my purchase. The lack of customer support and restrictive policies of Shop Your Way make it difficult for me to continue using the platform with confidence, and I hope that the company will take steps to improve their user experience in the future.
Shop Your Way Review: Frustrating Experience with Limited Purchase Options
Shop Your Way is an online store that offers you the opportunity to earn points for your purchases. These points can be redeemed for a range of products that the store offers. It seems like a great opportunity to save some money while shopping online, but the experience can quickly turn frustrating.
As you start watching your points balance grow, you feel more motivated to save up and exchange them for something. However, navigating the store and finding something that's actually for sale can be very tricky.
One of the most frustrating aspects of shopping on Shop Your Way is the lack of an option to filter products that are available for purchase. You have to click on everything to see if it's a valid option for you, and more often than not, it's not. You'll see a "cannot be shipped," "cannot be picked up," or "not available in your zip code" message repeatedly.
When you finally find something worth buying, you discover that it's just an ad! Ads can't be purchased with ShopYourWay points, and they are just there to lure you into buying something for a full price and with boosted points that you can't use for anything in the store.
After clicking on over 150 items, I found only one valid option for redeeming my points - a Candy Land board game. So, if you're looking for an online store with the diversity of products you can buy with your earnings, ShopYourWay might not be the right fit for you.
Overall, Shop Your Way might be more of a "Candy Land points" card. It's a shame that a good idea behind the online store has too many restrictions and setbacks that can make it difficult to have an enjoyable shopping experience.
Beware of Sears' Shop Your Way program: A cautionary review on their unreliable promises and frustrating customer service
I recently purchased an oven from a Sears store and decided to open a Shop Your Way Account (SYWA) in order to receive a $50.00 discount on my purchase. I paid the full amount of the oven less the discount within the first billing cycle, yet I was still billed the $50.00 and late charges were added to my account. I made three calls to customer service to explain the situation and provided documentation to support my claim, but nothing seemed to be resolved.
Despite multiple assurances from customer service representatives that the credit would appear in the next billing cycle, I have yet to see any action taken on my account after three billing cycles. Even when contacting the sales representative directly, they were unable to help and simply provided a customer relations number to contact. Unfortunately, every time I called to inquire about my account balance, I was put on hold and left waiting for another representative, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsupported.
As a result of this ordeal, I have lost faith in Sears and the Shop Your Way program. I would warn potential buyers to beware, as their promises cannot be trusted. In retrospect, I regret ever buying anything from Sears and would advise others to approach with caution.
Disappointing experience with Shop Your Way: Difficulty accessing purchase page & unable to use rewards points
I recently had an experience with Shop Your Way that left me feeling disappointed and frustrated. As a company founded on the premise of providing an easy and efficient way to access products, it is disappointing to see that they have fallen short in fulfilling customer orders in a timely and easy fashion.
The first issue I encountered was the inability to access the purchase page. This problem persisted for three days and despite numerous emails and calls to different representatives, I was unable to resolve the issue. It was only after someone suggested that I try a different web browser that I was able to access the website. However, it is frustrating that the website does not state that Safari is not supported.
After finally accessing my check-out page, I was disappointed to find that I was unable to use my accrued SHOPYOURWAY points. This meant that I had to call several different numbers to cancel my order. It was only with the assistance of a Shop Your Way employee called Pearl, and a phone order, that I was finally able to make my purchase. This entire process took an additional day, bringing the total time I spent trying to buy appliances online to four days!
The entire ordeal left me frustrated and disenchanted with the experience of dealing with Sears and Shop Your Way. It is a sad reflection of why this once storied company has fallen on its own petard. It was less wasteful of my time to build a time machine (which is impossible), go back to 1892, mail in my order, and wait for the Pony Express to deliver it.
In conclusion, I hope that Shop Your Way takes notice of their customers' experiences and takes proactive steps to improve. It is essential to remain true to their founding principles, which are to provide an easy and convenient way to access products. If they want to continue to be successful and grow, they must listen to their customers and take action to improve their services.
