Home break in. Stole jewelry and some other items. Insurance only covered a few hundred bucks. That is fine, per my policy. My complaint is this. I was emailed a link I didn't know was coming. Someone hacked my account and downloaded the money to their card. Shelter says not their problem. No worries, I'll swap companies but this will happen to someone else for a much larger amount $ and could be devastating. Shelter knows about the issue and will do nothing to fix it. All they would have to do is put an authentication process in place. A text or call or security questions. They tell me that it is the banks problem even though they are employing the bank. As a business owner myself, this makes no sense. Cyber crime is on the rise and Shelter needs to protect the people that trust them. Shame on them.
Desired outcome: I want Shelter to put a system in place. Authentication for links they send over email for payouts. And, an apology would be nice.
