I am writing as an avid sheetz coffee drinker so that hopefully there can be some sort of adjustment to your "policy".
I recently found out that I cannot tolerate dairy, specifically milk. So I've been using almond milk in my coffee.
On two other occasions I had asked someone if I could have some almond milk put in my coffee and was told no, so on an average day I have to pack almond milk to take with me to get my coffee on my way to work.
Today I had none, so I figured I would try MTO coffee. And expresso American sounded great until I got to the menu and I am not able to add milk. I asked someone behind the counter and they told me that it is the corporate policy to not allow you to add milk to hot Americano, but you can add milk to a cold brew.
I'm not sure I can possibly understand why this would be a policy and as a company who advertises their entire brand as made to order, I would sincerely hope that this could be changed.
It would also be great if there would be some consideration for those who are gluten or dairy sensitive considering how many people are these days.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Desired outcome: Add almond milk or another alternative as an option for self serve coffee, and allow people to add milk to an Americano.
