I had a less than desirable experience with Shea Shea Bakery. I made an order way back in January and it's now the end of March, but still no sign of my shipment. I reached out to the company for an update, but they initially apologized and gave me an excuse, but still couldn't confirm whether my order has been shipped. Even worse, they stopped responding to my emails entirely.

I eventually had to take matters into my own hands and escalate the issue to PayPal, but even that didn't spur them into action. They claim that the pandemic is to blame for the delay, but I find this excuse hard to swallow. I've placed orders with plenty of other companies all over the world since the pandemic started, and I've never had to wait longer than a week to receive my orders.

I even placed an order that originated in Texas during their snowstorm and still managed to receive it, but nothing from Shea Shea Bakery. It's crazy to think that I can order wigs from China and receive them within a week, but can't seem to get my order from a company located right here in the USA. It all seems like a load of baloney to me.

Woaah, it's May of 2023 and I still can't believe Shea Shea Bakery hasn't learned from their past mistakes! You'd think that now that the pandemic is over, they'd be upping their game, but nope- they're still scamming their customers. It's such a bummer because I'm all about supporting Black-owned businesses, so this is highly disappointing.

So, I took a chance and placed an order with them on April 3rd, 2023 (my first time ordering from them, by the way), but now it's May 3rd and I STILL haven't received my package. I reached out to them via email and they gave me a tracking number, but when I checked it, it said "Ready to Ship: Pre-shipment info sent USPS awaits item." Ugh.

I sent them another email the following week, which was the week they promised my package would arrive, but I haven't heard back from them at all. Meanwhile, they're on social media, posting about their new renovations and promoting other businesses (which makes me think they've been using the money they scammed from people to fund their own ventures).

Honestly, I don't think anyone should do business with Shea Shea Bakery. They've scammed so many people and I wouldn't be surprised if they start asking for donations on GoFundMe again in the near future. Spread the word- let's make sure no one else falls for their tricks!

Time flew by and before I knew it, it was already 3/6/19. I realized I had yet to receive my order and decided to contact Shea Shea Bakery through their website.

Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response for a while. I followed up with additional messages, but my responses were limited. After weeks of waiting in the dark, I reached out to usps to see if there were any updates regarding my package. They informed me that they never received any packages from Shea Shea Bakery, even though Shea Shea Bakery assured me on their website that they had already shipped my order on 2/23.

Unsure of what to do next, I decided to contact Shea Shea Bakery again. They informed me that it was usps' mistake and that the package was probably lost. They offered to file a claim and even gave me the option of receiving a refund. I was grateful for their response, but it took a few days for them to follow up with me again.

Feeling frustrated by the lack of communication, I did some online research and found several claims that Shea Shea Bakery has done this to other customers, deleting their negative comments and ignoring their complaints. I found out that their fraud scheme is pretty common, and they're not the honest business they claim to be. It has been more than a month since my order, and I have not yet received any updates regarding my refund.

I definitely won't be purchasing anything from Shea Shea Bakery ever again. I purchased other items on the same day as my Shea Shea Bakery order, and they all arrived on time. This is a waste of money, time, and effort. Save yourself the potential headache and consider looking for other reputable businesses to purchase from instead.

I ordered from Shea Shea Bakery during their big sale that happened on March 19,2021. Who can resist a good sale? Everything was priced at just $5! At the time, they were facing a lot of financial troubles, but they still decided to do the sale. They even set up a GoFundMe asking for $100,000. Talk about nerve!

After placing my order, I waited patiently for it to arrive. The website said that it can take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to receive orders, so I didn't expect it to come immediately. However, after waiting for months, I started to get worried. I sent them multiple e-mails asking when my order was going to be shipped. Instead of addressing the issue, they kept making excuses.

They blamed everything under the sun for the delay. They mentioned COVID-19, which we've all been enduring for over a year now. They also stated that they lost a lot of staff members, which seemed very odd to me. I mean, they went from having 42 staff members to only 7? Lastly, they also blamed broken machinery and even said that USPS forgot to pick up packages from their warehouse. Oh, and someone on their team passed away, so that added to the delay too.

The worst part was that they stopped responding to my inquiries altogether. That's when I realized that something was very wrong. I finally filed a complaint with my bank to get my money back. I didn't want to take any chances with this shady company.

This company is a complete fraud, and they should be put out of business. They delete bad reviews on their Instagram page and don't allow customers to leave reviews on Facebook. However, the Better Business Bureau doesn't lie, and I have also come across negative reviews of this place online.

At the time of writing this review, it's already July 12,2021, and I haven't received any acknowledgment of my order or any updates regarding its status. I can only assume that they have zero intentions of fulfilling their end of the bargain. This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had, and I would not recommend Shea Shea Bakery to anyone.

It's really disappointing to spend money on something that ends up not working for you. All in all, Shea Shea Bakery didn't meet my expectations, and I wouldn't be recommending their products to anyone.

So, I had a really bad experience with Shea Shea Bakery. I was really excited to try their strawberry cheesecake body creme and Sunday brunch candle, so I ordered them on 2/27/21, but I didn't get them until 5/14/21! That's a really long time to wait for products that you're excited to try. When I finally got my order, I was really disappointed with the strawberry cheesecake scent. It didn't smell anything like strawberry's like the website said it would. It smelled more like watermelon kiwi, which was not what I had hoped for.

The candle, however, did smell really good. But I have to say, I think $25 for a candle that small is a bit too much. I think Shea Shea Bakery is really good at making everything look amazing, but the reality of it is that their products aren't worth the price.

I've been keeping an eye on this company for a while because they have some really cool marketing campaigns, but I have to say, I was really disappointed with my experience. On February 9th, I realized that almost two weeks had passed since I placed my order and still no shipping confirmation. So, I decided to shoot them an email and ask about my order.

But, you know what I got in response? Nothing. Not even a single word. I waited a few more days and decided to send another email on February 12th. But, yet again, I received no response. At this point, I was beyond frustrated and upset.

Finally, on February 14th, I received my shipping confirmation from Shea Shea Bakery. And let me tell you, I was not impressed. They didn't even apologize or explain the reason for the delay.

Now, I understand that we are still in the "pandemic," but that's no excuse. I mean, we aren't even required to wear masks anymore, so there's really no reason for such a delay. I don't know what kind of excuse they were trying to make up, but it's just unprofessional and lazy.

I mean, seriously, it's been almost a full month since I placed my order, and they couldn't even be bothered to send me a simple shipping confirmation or give me an explanation. That's just bad business management and a horrible way to run a business. They should be accountable for their actions and provide an explanation to their customers.

Unfortunately, I don't even have a picture of the products because as of today, February 14th, 2023, I still haven't received my order. They just shipped it out today, and I have to wait another 5-7 business days to actually receive my package.

Overall, I would not recommend Shea Shea Bakery to anyone. Their customer service is terrible, and they don't seem to care about their customers. Save your money and go somewhere else where they actually appreciate your business.

I placed my order from Shea Shea Bakery back in April, that's seven months ago! It's now November 11th and I'm still waiting for my order. I've been given excuse after excuse for the delay, and to make things worse, their email was shut down for a while, making it impossible for me to reach them. When I finally got a response in August, I was told that I would be one of the first orders to ship out. But clearly, that was not the case. I reached out again after the store had been reopened for two weeks and today, they finally responded. Apparently, some of the items I ordered are discontinued and I can either get a partial shipment and a refund for the discontinued items or a full refund. Why wasn't I told this earlier?

This company is absolutely terrible. The months they took off clearly didn't help them improve anything, their customer service is nonexistent. I asked for a partial refund and shipment, just to see how much longer I would have to wait, and I bet there are people who have forgotten about their orders and will never see their items shipped or their money refunded. The fact that I had to remind them that I paid for my order in April and still haven't received anything is disgusting. I doubt they will reach out to anyone else. How many people have they stolen from? They are dishonest and I would not recommend shopping here. They filter out negative comments, which is why all the reviews on their website and social media make this company seem great. But I know firsthand that's not true because they deleted my comment during the summer.

Update: After seven months of waiting, I finally got my refund! I had to do a lot of extra work to get it, like commenting on the owner's Facebook picture, messaging her directly, and threatening to report them to the FTC (which I did). It took a friend of mine who recommended this brand to me a year ago just as much work to get her refund. If you're still waiting, report them to the FTC and then send them an email about it. It's unbelievable that a company would treat its customers this way.

I had bought some goodies from Shea Shea Bakery back on 04/05/18, keeping my initial order small just in case this was a scammy type of deal. I waited for a confirmation from them regarding the shipping, but I had heard nothing until 04/10/18. When I asked about it, they finally let me know that the shipping confirmation was on the way.

The problem was, when I got my USPS tracking information - it didn't seem like the package or the items that I ordered had even been sent out yet. I tried messaging Shea Bakery once more in the early hours of 04/13/18 to see if there was any kind of update on the situation.

That was when they told me that they would first have to get hold of the parcel and then issue me a refund, which made things even more confusing. I thought the package was already on its way, so I assumed that it was in the hands of the postal service by that point.

However, when I contacted USPS to ask about this, they let me know that they hadn't received anything from Shea Shea Bakery for delivery to my address. That's when I reached out to PayPal to start a dispute. I contacted the company through their Instagram page, direct messaging them and even requesting a refund - but there was no answer.

I don't know why my money was kept by the company, but all I know is that I ordered these goods like anybody else, but they never reached me. I was suspicious of new vendors such as this, particularly those who mainly use social media to market their wares. The fact that I had also purchased items from six other online vendors on the same day I ordered from Shea Shea Bakery and already received them was telling.

I don't think I will ever get my merchandise or refund, but I hope no one else gets taken advantage of again. I will never return to this business again, and I don't encourage anyone else to shop there either. Buyer be advised.

So, I bought some sweet-smelling goodies from Shea Shea Bakery on March 12th, thinking it'll take about 4 to 6 weeks to get my order. But now, it's been 12 weeks, baby! It's like three months already and I'm still waiting for my stuff. I mean, it's understandable that the pandemic is being a real downer on everything, including shipping delays. But honestly, even after they relaunch, I don't think I'll be shopping with them again. I don't wanna support a company that treats their customers like they don't matter. So, if they keep it up, they're gonna run themselves into the ground!

Worst still, when I finally got my delivery, half of my order was missing which really pissed me off. I mean, I had spent a good amount of money and I expected to get all of my products. My package had a sticker that read "Received in damaged condition". I sent all the information that I could gather but Vanessa is telling me they need to perform an investigation. Come on, now! I gave her all the information that I had and she's still asking for an invoice that I never received with the package. I have been going through this back and forth for two weeks now! It's just really unfortunate because I really loved the smell of one of the butters that I did receive. Nevertheless, I can't continue doing business with a company that won't take responsibility for incomplete orders. Like, what the hell?!
