Sharp Electronics Sharp electric oven 42 liter, 1300 watt, grill, fan, silver x black eo-s42-es2 unsatisfactory user manual leading to defective performance

On March 20, 2023, I bought an SHARP Electric Oven 42 Liter, 1300 Watt, Grill, Fan, Silver x Black EO-S42-ES2 (Attached is the nameplate data). I bought it from Carrefour, Alexandria, Egypt.

Following the operation instructions indicated in the user manual cooking table (copy attached), unfortunately, your product has not performed well. A significant lack of information is clear in the manual cooking table. Only thermostat value and estimated cooking times are indicated for the different food types. The oven rack choice and the program selection are not identified.

I’ve tried to return it to Carrefour on March 25, 2023 but they refused the return claiming that it has been tried/used. On March 26, 2023 I’ve complained to the Egyptian Governmental Consumer Protection Agency (CPA). (CPA) contacted Elaraby (SHARP Agent in Egypt) who assigned their technician to check the appliance and issue a report. Elaraby Technician only checked different temperatures of the oven and indicated proper operation with no deficiencies in the report.

I’m hereby ascending my complaint to SHARP Customer Service Upper Management.

Sharp Electronics Refrigerator

Lodge complain one week before and they confirmed withing 48 hrs. Your complain will be resolved but unfortunately till date they haven't taken any action and now they don't even pick the phone

Complain lodged at [protected] and technician who was supposed to attend his number is [protected]

This makes us to avoid purchasing any sharp product if they cannot handle the after sales services

We paid for imported product, and this is what we had to face unnecessary stress and without refrigerator for a week

I have no choice left either to dispose thr refrigerator or give it to some outsider for repair

Desired outcome: very much dissatisfied and want you to take action against the people you have sublet

Sharp Electronics Sharp aircon inverter

It was Sept 15 when my aircon stopped working, not turning on and no power. Sept 22 the technician checked and the initial finding is the circuit board. A week after, Sept 29, he went back to to replace the circuit board BUT its still now working and he told me that its the inverter board. Oct 7 they replaced the inverter board, its working already but not cooling. They changed the sensor but still the same. The following day, they pulled out the unit to check the freon. They went back Oct 14 to deliver the unit BUT still not cooling, they pulled out the unit for the second time. Today, Oct 22 they went back to redeliver the unit. Now, they trlling me that its either the socket or the breaker. I immediately changed the socket but STILL NOT COOLING! Now, they are asking me chnage the breaker. We’ve been stay in the unit for a decade and a half already no issues at all in the breaker.

Sharp Electronics Not commiting on their promise

Last august 24 the technician went to our house because the button was not functioning technician told me that the board should be replace and it is out of stock because the month is about to end the office will have inventory the technician said they will message me after the week if the board is available i wait patiently. I called them last monday sept 11 the customer service said will call me i waited whole day that i did not sleep even though i have to because i work at night until now there is no resolution and they have not called. My washing machine has warranty and i purchase it last November they should fix it right away.

Desired outcome: My washing machine need to be fix within a week

Sharp Electronics Sharp 40 inch 4k uhd hdr android tv - sold at reduced price with damage! No refund and no warranty! Customer paid but got a broken tv!

"I bought the tv from Tesco on 24 July, I just opened the box today (31 Aug) and found the monitor has been broken."

it was sold at "reduced to clear" price but I dont expect it has damaged.

I have been contacted with SHARP's CS Georgia, she said "the damage to your set is not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty." and didnt study what I have reported, the TV is not working when I first opened the box! and told me "said"If you believe the TV has been damaged from store, you will need to discuss this directly with your retailer. '

I have also contacted Tesco's CS Steve, he said nothing he can do, but will report to senior manager to follow up, but so far no reply.

Desired outcome: Return, refund or get someone to fix it for me

Sharp Electronics Window type inverter airconditioner

Our air conditioning unit got broken on Sept 25, 2021. Since it's Saturday and Sharp office is closed, I searched Sharp contact information in the internet. We contacted Sharp Philippines to arrange a technician who could fix our air conditioner. Finally, the technician showed up Sept 28 and said that the mother board got broken. On Sept 29, we called Sharp office to know if they have available parts. Fortunately, they have spare part and the cost is Php 10, 885 + labor cost. It's expensive for the repair but we've no choice. We accepted the quotation just to get our unit fixed. Sadly, Sharp representative said, technician could only come the following week which is Oct 4 ~ 8. We couldn't even get definite date for the technician to come. They are not even responding text message. Is this the kind of customer service Sharp Philippines has? Obviously, they don't have enough technicians to accommodate their customers ontime.

Sharp Electronics electric oven EO60K3 60Ltr-Temperature issue

Hi,
Resently I have purchased electric oven EO60K3 60Ltr from Qatar. And I am a home baker. As per your manual cake baking temperature is 180c for 25-30 minutes, But as per the guidance, out come is a burnt cake. Have tried to bake another 2, -3, cakes in different temperature like (165c-35 minutes -upper low convection mode) (165c-35 minutes -upper lower normal mode) and Lower only mode. But still unable to get the soft bake. I am sure about my cake mix and all. because same batter when I baked in different oven, nice cake was came up, So I am sure issue is with your oven and I am totally disappointed on buying your product, Please look at this matter and advice me, is this a default fault in your oven? If so give me a workable solution for this.

Sharp Electronics 42l microwave oven r954ast

I bought a Microwave oven R954AST through Shopee in Malaysia on 30/10/2019. The chamber light gave up in August 2020 and rang up Sharp in Malacca in the same month. According to the warranty card they was suppose to make house visit and repair it. They refuse to come.Their personnel were rude. I inform their Headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. I called them several times and they didn't do anything.
Wasting my time. Phone also never answer.

Sharp Electronics Pull out microwave

Pull out microwave - case number 9256546

The front control panel fell off I have pictures and it shorts out

We purchased this microwave plus insulation we paid about $2000; we moved in the house in October 2018 I assume the microwave is purchased through the general contractor a month prior ... I get that the product may only have a one year warranty but I paid $2000 again $2000 of my hard earned money and it doesn't work past 16 months —- i'm sorry that's just not what I expected when I bought your product.

Further this microwave has shorted out and I thought maybe it was the new wiring system I have paid Electrician several times and we've now realize it's because the control panel is probably shorting out that's causing the problem...

Again I paid $2000 for a microwave and it's lasted 16 months if that's the most that you can stand by?

I don't think it should last forever but I definitely think that as a consumer and maybe the general consumer should be aware of the risk of buying such a product

Sharp Electronics washer/dryer; poor quality sharp washer

Hi,  

I had purchase sharp washer/dryer 9/6kg esvd900 on 8 feb 2019 and within less an year the washer is giving problem on 31 jan 2020. I had attach the of the error code to sharp email and cal sharp customer service to highlight this problem. I had also trouble the issues base on the instruction sharp manual and it was not solve which I had told the customer service officer during the conservation and arrangement of technician was arrange for to my house on 3 feb 2020. I am so shock and disappointed as nothing was done after your technician arrived as your staff told me there is no stock for the parts which I had highlighted during 31 jan 2020 that the pump is faulty. Since no stock then sharp company should be doing one to one exchange of the washer or find other alternative to solve my washer issues such as uninstall the parts from other washer and install at my washer first but instead your customer service told me that sharp company can't do anything since there is no stock and ask me to wait and that is so irresponsible and no standards

Sharp Electronics ay-xp12uhe

I have just bought 2 air conditions 2 weeks ago. The agent (Haidar Murad company) made delays in installing these air conditions and after they installed them it seems that there is something wrong with these machines as it sends noisy sounds to the degree that we can't sleep as the sound is too high (even with soft mode). I have already contacted the agent company and they promised to come and check the problem but they didn't come and they deliberately ignore my calls. I have paid that money to enjoy the warm weather in winter as it is too cold in Jordan these days not to enjoy these very noisy sounds! So could you please help me with resolving the problem or at least returning these bad machines as I did not get the value of my money.

Sharp Electronics bad quality bad service - air conditioning products!

We bought sharp ac on 28 dec 2019. Model: ah-a12ucy. Serial number: g8107203.

In just a year, dec 2019, the indoor part started making funny creaking noise. Amazing sharp product broken in just a year! Low quality.

The service person came and checked. The evap part got broken. Cost us a lot to fix. Ok, fine.

Today 9 jan 2020, I called the customer service and got reply that the part will be available by end of jan 2020! Why? Because no spare-part in warehouse. No spare-part in service center. I am wondering what do they have in their warehouse?

I read mr. Tadashi ohyama the ceo of pt sharp indonesia saying (in indonesian), quote: "kinerja sharp indonesia yang gemilang juga dikombinasikan dengan layanan purna jual yang baik untuk membina kepercayaan dan hubungan dengan konsumen."

Translated: "outstanding performance of sharp indonesia is also combined with excellence after sale service to maintain confidence and relationship with customers"

Just empty words. Lousy product. Lousy after sale service. I am just wondering whether this person knows actually what he is talking about!

Sharp Electronics sharp warranty service

I am very unhappy about my recent dealings with Sharp Warranty service in Pocklington, York between Thursday 5th Sept and Tuesday 10th Sept and would like this to be resolved professionally in the manner that would be expected from a worldwide company.

I purchased a new washer dryer and one first use it smelt badly of burning. This alarmed me greatly and I contacted Sharp Warranty. I was surprised that given the current media situation relating to dryers catching fire I'm the UK and the poor response of appliance companies to have had the following experience:
Staff member did not ask me at any point not to use the dryer despite my concerns being repeatedly stated
Staff member was more interested in getting me to agree to pay for repair as I quote 'it is unlikely to be an electrical or mechanical issue' and therefore it is more likely that I have done something wrong, examples given such as a £10 getting stuck in it. Since this was my first use and no £10 were involved I thought this strange.
Staff member then forwarded me to a manager as she was unable to deal with the situation and Beth said she would give a replacement dryer to which I was happy. She promised that I would get an uplift number by Friday 6th Sept latest as she acknowledged this was an urgent situation due to potentially dangerous dryer in my home. I send proof of purchase to the email address supplied and then heard nothing back at all by end of Friday.
On Monday I called again and was told nothing had progressed and the manager needed to sort it. I requested this to be done and I was told it would be done on Tuesday.
I also sent a concern email to the customer service email address on 'contact us' on Sharp website stating my concerns but again have still not received acknowledgement to date.
On Tuesday at 3pm I called again as still had heard nothing and was told that nothing had changed and a manager would need to sign it off. I requested to speak to a manager and was told they were on another call. I asked for a call back and was told that this could not be secured but this had been possible on Thursday 5th Sept, showing inconsistent policy on this.
I called again at 5pm and this time I said I was going to make a complaint and also requested my voice recordings under new GDPR rules. I was placed on hold and very quickly I was given my uplift number. I was also informed that I could not have my call data as in call centres there are other calls going on. I informed them this was both incorrect and illegal and again requested my voice recordings and again they said no. Under new GDPR rules Sharp have now acted illegally in denying me access to these recordings and if I do not receive them in one month from submitting this request (10th Sept) then I will be logging a compliant with ICO under GDPR claim for compensation. I was also not asked for my explicit permission to record my calls as is now needed under GDPR and instead the old voice recording of 'calls will be recorded for training purposes' was incorrectly and illegally still being used. Again this is something I will need to raise with ICO if this complaint is not appropriately dealt with.

I am sorry to have had this experience with Sharp to date and give you the opportunity to put things right now.

Sharp Electronics sharp 49 inch tv

My brand new only two months old sharp 49inch tv got a little crack in the bottom of it from my 2 year old throwing his plastic bottle at it and now it has a great big thick black line running vertically through the middle of it ! I certainly won't be buying a sharp tv again unless ya can do something to help me I just paid £350 for this tv and can't afford another one as of yet ! This really should not of cracked from a plastic bottle 😩

Sharp Electronics service of after sales

I bought a sharp refrigerator for my parent. We found the fridge frozen function is not good. We contacted the sharp authorities service center at Batu Pahat Johor few times within a month. The answer given was not reasonable to me. I called to sharp Malaysia customer service and seek for other advice. After I sent all the photos of the fridge the the product manager and his feedback was the fridge look abnormal. He promised to contact the contractor and settle for me as soon as possible. However, until now it already another 3 months, problem still hasn't resolve. The product manager does not want to reply me at all. The complaint I submitted to Sharp Malaysia has not more follow up also. The contractor has told us that he is waiting for the spare part arrived due to sharp supplier change, etc...

Sharp Electronics tv umc011910223  / wo-[protected]

Dear gentlemen 
In August 2018 I bought a sharp tv in the  Worten Arrabida/Gaia shoping center in Portugal. Device UMC011910223  / WO-[protected]) .

A month later, the television stopped working correctly: the screen lost the image first in a intermittent way and after some days, definitely. The sound had always worked well. I went to the worten store to perform the usual participation because the device was within the warranty period. There, I was informed that a technician would go to my residence to raise the tv and repair the malfunction. It happened almost two weeks later, the 24/1/2019. The company responsible for the transport and repair of the device was Enabe SA.The technician in question lifted the tv from my house. The device was conveniently packed. Some days after I was informed that the problem of television was a broken screen! That information is totally unacceptable because the device was in perfect condition when it was raised from my house. I assume that the damage of the screen tv ocured somewere between my house and the repair company facilities!

It is totally inconceivable that the company that makes the Sharp device transport from the client residence damages it and after that imputes to the client the responsibility of the damaging.

Bought the Sharp HD Ready LED Smart TV - 81 cm (32 Zoll) Harman/Kardon Sound System, LC 32HI5332E Black - Energy Class A +) from Amazon.de This was manufactured by UMC Poland. On the package box, its written LED TV. But on the label pasted behind the TV, its written LCD TV
Sharp deceived me by advertising this as LED TV on Amazon.de when actually its a LCD TV. I am not sure now if it has some kind of LED backlight or not

When I installed the TV and started Youtube, Youtube freezes whenever there is a advertisement. Need to go back to main menu and restart Youtube always. This is painful viewing experinence.
Request Sharp technical support to rectify this issue

I purchased 2 x lc49cfe6032k TVs at the same time . One tv has a pixel out of the screen from new but the remote has got misplaced and iv bought a new one and it won't pair to the tv these are the worst TVs waste of money they come up asking for updates from new purchased from Tesco and there slow as anything waste of money and no customer service to call absolute joke of a company

I bought this tv 16 months ago, and it just died. I have a emerson tv which I have had since 2015. This makes no sense since I only watched this tv, every now n then> Not understanding how a tv New from best but can die in this short period of time, And the cheap emerson which I have had for 3yrs. plus>
Please wrie and let me know because this makes no sense. Is there something wrong with the tv. Gotta

Sharp Electronics sharp 70” tv

Dear Sir,

I became acquainted with the Sharp Night TV series in the early eighties when I was working at Lindeteves Jacoberg company just opposite Sharp Roxy at Tanglin Halt Road. I made contact with the then Marketing Manager Mr.Tong to use Sharp products as prizes for my sales promotions of the product lines that my company distributed. This exercise stretched for many years as our joint campaigns worked out very well .

My household electronic items were all switched over to Sharp with added faith in their quality . TVs, refrigerators, washing machine, microwave, air purifiers, you name it, all are in my homes and now in my children's homes !

When Sharp ran into financial woes and was sold to Taiwanese investors, I was quite taken aback but the brand name confidence and loyalty remained.

Two over years ago I bought a 70 inches LED TV for my daughter's new house as a house warming gift, it was at that time one of the few with large screens and I was impressed with the features and without doubt its quality too ... Sharp is the front runner in LCD TVs as far as I remember.

This TV is used sparingly in the evenings when the working couple returned from work, sometimes for days not used when they travel, but the standby switch is always on. In January this year, it suddenly does not have picture or sound yet my Daughter didn't make further checks since she's watching another TV in her room and the 70" is in the living room. Then sometime in June, when I wanted to watch tv in the living room, I was told it's out of order. I tried fiddling around with the remote and hdmi, internet cables etc without success . I contacted Sharp service division to seek help, I was informed there's a checking fee since warranty is just over at the beginning of the year.

The technician came and within a couple of minutes, advised that the TV is beyond repair as the screen is at fault ! He readily gave a discount of $30 from the verbally agreed amount of $120 before he was sent here. I paid the fee but I felt very uneasy with this bad experience with a brand name that I highly regarded . Almost 40 years of faith in Sharp is not going to the drain because of this incident, I decided to write to you now to find out what you can do for a loyal customer.

I'm enclosing receipts of my purchase and repair servicing for your kind perusal and look forward to hear from you soon.
