Select Property Management, Inc is a total joke. They got roaches all over the place and the managers and office people never pick up the phone. They don't know how to talk to people and only care about taking your money. When you try to tell them they're being unprofessional, they just get mad. Don't waste your time with these clowns.

I live in a place managed by Select Property Management, Inc. and I gotta say, they don't seem to care much about us tenants. Today, some lady named Tiffany W put a noise complaint on my door. She didn't even try to fix the problem, even though I've been complaining about it for over a year through emails and voicemails. When I talked to her about it, she just crossed her arms and rolled her eyes. Finally, a maintenance guy came a year later, but he just told me there was no problem. Then, when a new tenant complained about the noise, Tiffany came over to investigate, but she didn't do a very good job. Plus, the elevator hasn't worked for eight months! Luckily, I live in California, so I'm gonna tell HUD about all this.

I hit up Select Property Management P: ***, http://www.selectpropmgt.com/ on 1/2/2022 about a rental pad on ***. They told me I gotta apply and get approved before I can peep the spot. I never heard of that before, but I was keen so I did it. They said we gotta pay $35 to run the app, but we'd get it back if we didn't wanna move forward. They said we gotta make at least 3x the monthly rent, have a credit score of 650 or higher, and have 2 years of rental history. Three of us applied and we all met those requirements. We gave them all the deets they asked for. Then on 1/10/2022 they said we got denied cuz of credit, rental history, and employment verification. But all of us met those requirements. When I asked why, they wouldn't give me the 411. And they wouldn't give us our money back either. I peeped their Yelp reviews and a bunch of people said the same thing. They make you pay and then deny you without giving your cash back. Seems like a scam to me.
