Select Home Warranty review: Don't make my mistake

Select Home Warranty has several small print rules that they will apply to your claim to avoid paying.
Be very aware of their 9.1.2 clause which reads:
You are responsible for providing annual maintenance and cleaning by a licensed technician on covered items to ensure continued coverage on such items. Select reserves the right to request prior years (3) maintenance records and/or pictures, without proper maintenance records and pictures the maximum payout on any system/appliance is up to $150.00.
They denied mine (and many others) for not being able to show 3 years of maintenance by a licensed technician. I had not even had the policy for 1 year and no knowledge of prior care. This is just one of their tactics. I recommend looking closely at reviews and social media groups regarding their service.
