My son and his 2 roommates moved out of a townhome on July 22. We got the security deposit on August 19 for $470. They took out $500 for a pet we didn't have and $200 for cleaning because of the pet. We told them that we didn't have a pet, and everyone confirmed that we didn't have a pet. They only want to give us $250 back. We think they're trying to take advantage of us because the last people who lived there left it dirty. We had to clean it before we moved in. We've moved 8 times in the area and never had a problem with a management company. We shouldn't have to pay for something we didn't do.

We was in a lease with Aggieland Properties. In May 2022, I went on the tenant portal and said we was moving out at the end of June. I got an email from Aggieland Properties on May 23, but by June we didn't hear nothing from them about moving out. They charged us for utilities that wasn't ours, even though we paid our utilities to *** Utilities. I talked to Aggieland Properties and they said they never got our move out request and we had to pay for the utilities. I had to talk to the owner to move out, but we had to stay until the end of July. I showed proof of payment but they still charged us. They emailed us in August saying we still owed money. We had to pay $1,700 for July rent because Aggieland Properties didn't listen to us. They did bad business and I think they charged us on purpose. I want a refund of $1,700 and for them to fix our account.
