Seal Skin Covers The worst customer service experience I have had

The worst customer service experience I have had. From the looks of all the other reviews of this company sounds like the following is nothing new...I ordered and paid for two seal skin covers for my two jet skis. The day they were to arrive, I waited home to receive them. They never came. I contacted Seal Skin through their only means of communication, email, and they stated they were sorry and the shipment was on its way. I waited and received ONE of the covers. Upon reaching out again through email I was told I received both of them, which I did not, explaining that is why I reached out the first time and stated both never arrived and that the second attempt, again only one cover arrived. This was infuriating as I have been trying to work with this company to complete my paid order and still have not received the second cover. I would not recommend working with the company as they are not ethical in their attempts to right their wrongs and their customer service is little to none. I still hope they may honor the fact they took my money for services not rendered yet, and indeed send me my second cover. I am not holding my breath...

They sold me a cover through elite boat covers that wasn't close to fitting. Five feet too short then charged me 20 percent to send it back. Still waiting for the refund. I think they deliberately send the wrong size to collect the 20 percent. Never buy a sealskin cover.

Company is terrible. I ordered a custom fit cover for my boat, I included the "Boat Pole" kit, and motor cover. I ordered via online, WHILE chatting with a person from their chat support. THEIR person assured me the cover was the right one. When the cover arrived, it was no way going to fit, the pole kit was missing the pole, and the motor cover would not fit a trolling motor let alone my 200hp outboard. WEEKS with them trying to get an exchange, 5 calls to the company all met with "someone will return your call in 24 hours" and they never did. Once I got through to the "customer service", they could not track my return, and stated they would send a replacement in 24 hours. 2 weeks later I call again and they ship me another label, for the cover I already sent back. Nothing but incompetence. Once again on the phone, now they are telling me I have to pay a 20% restocking fee for THEIR ERROR, their incomplete order, and miss fitting cover on a $450 order. THIS COMPANY USES SHADY TACTICS. AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Sealskin boat covers have the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was lied to by them on 4 different occasions and made a return impossible to accomplish. I requested a return post paid label on more 5 different occasions and they told me I would get that same day . It has never been sent and my guess is they will never do a return. Do not under any circumstances do business with this company they are dishonest and can never be trusted

On their web site they advertise to be "SNUG FIT", "FORGET FLAPPING", "PERFECTLY FIT YOUR BOAT TYPE OR MODEL", "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE", After I purchased one, and it was over a foot too long, they are now telling me they are "SEMI CUSTOM COVERS" and "COVERS CAN GENERALLY RUN INCHES TO A FOOT TOO SHORT OR TOO LONG, So which is it, a perfect fit or run inches to a foot too short or long? Also there are not enought tie down straps for the cover to be "TRAILERABLE" Cover flaps a lot while being towed. They say "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE", but they kept 20% of that as a restocking fee, so you don't really get a "MONEY BACK GUARANTEE"! Beware of this company!Your MONEY BACK GUARANTEE means I get all my money back, NO RESTOCKING FEES.BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

Seal Skin Covers I wish I would've read all the reviews before buying!

I wish I would've read all the reviews before buying! On their website OF COURSE they gave their "featured reviews" while the real customer reviews are buried. You have to search for the reviews. They decided which ones to put up. They don't deserve even 1 star! Their cover and their so called, "Customer Service" are horrible! Both are literally useless! I've given up on getting anywhere with the people that work for them, at this point I just want to warn others. I wish I could depend on Complaintsboard.com to do something but I'm sure nothing will happen; I know I just wasted $300. When ordering, the Seal Skin website doesn't ask you what size cover you want, they ask you what boat you have then they send you one that supposedly fits your model and year, and with no instructions! 1.) It doesn't even come close to fitting. 2.) They don't respond to emails for days. 3.) When they did finally respond, they told me I have to pay a 20% restock fee for something that was 100% their fault! I didn't even have any option. 4.) They also said my now 80% refund will take 30 days to recieve. My boat is sitting in rainy Ohio spring weather with a tarp instead of a real top, soaking wet inside. I'm powerless and furious!

This company uses deceptive advertising on their web site. They state the following on their site:"Seal Skin covers are designed to perfectly fit your car model. Whether a Sedan, hatchback, wagon, truck or suv - we guarantee youll find a cover with a great fit at great price."Both covers they sent me for my Focus ST hatchback were shaped for sedans, the first one was several inches too short and the second one was two feet too long. They now say the "exchange process cannot go further". They then go on to say : "Our covers are not custom fits, semi custom covers are the best fit at the best possible price but theyre not perfect. Semi custom covers can generally run inches to a foot too short or too long ... "Which is in direct conflict with their advertising on the web site!Needless to say, NEVER BUY ANY COVER FROM SEAL SKIN! I would not even recommend one star, I wanted to leave zero stars, but the system would not alllow it.

Ordered 2 covers. Only received 1. Contacted seal skin and received message saying sorry and would receive the missing cover in *** business days. Never came. Asked for a tracking number. No response. Have emailed and opened many tickets with them all going unanswered. The last being I would just like a refund for the missing cover so I can purchase one elsewhere. Again nothing. I had purchased from them in past years with no issues but will never again. I should have read that they had so many unfavorable reviews before I ordered. Shame on me I guess. This was never resolved and I have slim hopes it ever will be. Order from this company at your own risk.

Ordered my vehicle cover and they shipped it. They put my address and fail to put my email address and telephone number. Package arrive in *** facility and since they didn't include my contact infos. *** didn't contacted me to pay my due taxes. When I pay my taxes, it was too late. They called seal skin and seal skin approve to dispose my package. Those big *** didn't care to provide my contact infos. AGAIN and big *** agreed to just dispose it. Called up their customer service for my refund since I didn't receive anything and spent almost USD200 for nothing but I was tossed and passed like a ping pong ball and no one cares. In the end, will just breath deeply and goodbye USD200. Nothing happen. I don't personally recommend this merchant since when you face an issue with them, it took your fuse to snap and no one is responsible person will attend your issues. #goodbye200dollars

Horrible fitting product. The lightest breeze and the car cover comes off. They claim it will protect against hail but it is so thin I doubt it. Customer service is even worse. The first cover that came did not even cover my entire car but was supposed to be custom made. The replacement that took 3 months to arrive fit even worse. I asked to return it for a refund and they charged a ridiculous restocking fee. Overall I do not recommend their product or company at all.

Seal Skin Covers From the very start I addressed to seal skin that I would be assured of the fleece not deteriorating and leaving white residue all over my black

From the very start I addressed to seal skin that I would be assured of the fleece not deteriorating and leaving white residue all over my black audi RS3. TWO MONTHS IN, no problems with the fleece yet, but your cover is ripping everywhere, little tiny pin holes and rips. The cover is supposed to have several layers of protection, that's false. All I see is the white fleece as your cover continues to deteriorate. Who was the genius who designed the grommets left uncovered without protective material? Every time you put your inferior cover on your car, you can scratch it with those plastic 0 rings. Your 30 day warranty is a joke. It took a month to recieve the cover, and I didn't even use it until your 30 day exchange policy was expired. You can take your 20% restocking charge and your 30 day warranty, and sholve it straight up your ***. You had no problem selling me your cover, but flaws and damage to your brand new covers, you do nothing about. A company with no integrity, you do not warrant and back your products, and your customer service is horrible. Bad products, bad customer service, no repeat buisness and no new customers. 0 stars across the board.

Stubborn! My son ordered a cover for my Chrysler 300 on black Friday ("black Friday sale"). By the time I opened it on Christmas and a couple days later found the cover to be way oversized (wind completely lifted the cover off onto my neighbors front lawn multiple times), and called sealskin to swap for a smaller size, they told me it was beyond my 30 day "size exchange" window. Well sorry, but 12/25/24 + a few days to find out it's too large is more than 30 days. I now have to use spring clamps to pin the cover down to all for wheels. Looks awful and a pain, but great advertizing when my neighbors ask about the clamps. After covering my car just 4 times with the spring clamps, the cover began tearing due the spring clamps. Sealskin actually replaced the cover under warranty, but guess what... withTHE SAME SIZE COVE again as their "policy" is not to modify the size with a warranty replacement. STUBBORN! Invest in spring clamps if you by Sealskin covers. Have lots of photos to share.

This company is a scam Started with an order 12/20 Wrong size sent, (would fit two of my truck)after every delay possible they agreed to take it back and send another After several "start overs" since I called to check on order which moved me to the back of the line and had to start process over they sent another truck cover. This one would so small it would not go over the hood. We are now into late January. Said I want to return this wrong unit and get my money back. No response for 8 days as I call daily. After 20 days they say, we will take the wrong cover back but will only give you 80% of your money I am a real buyer. I have pictures of products they sent and e mails to back this up.If you deal with these guys look to get wrong product sizes and TAKEN on their *** restocking fee After they *** multiple orders up and dance you around forever

Seal Skin Covers DO NOT deal with this company

DO NOT deal with this company. I don't know what changed since 2015, but they are no longer a reputable company. I ordered a car cover, a boat cover, and a boat motor cover from them in 2020. The car cover is not even close to the one I ordered (received an Oxgord brand worth maybe $40 vs. the multi-layer 10-year warranty premium car cover I ordered for $150); the boat cover took over 2 months to ship, even though they sent me tracking information immediately (the shipper only printed a label and was still awaiting the package from the supplier); the boat motor cover didn't even come close to fitting. I didn't need any of the covers immediately and because I had ordered from this company in 2015 and was a very satisfied customer I ordered from them again. Because of this I did not immediately open all the packages (stupid mistake on my part). The boat cover didn't even come close to fitting properly, even though it was supposedly made for the boat I specified. The car cover is a basically a glorified tarp, very heavy, and it also doesn't fit (too big). Please, please, spread the word to all you know to NOT DEAL WITH SEAL SKIN COVERS. You will be sorry and will not be happy or satisfied with the way they try to resolve any problems.

So in good faith I ordered a CUSTOM FIT cover for my *** Crew boat and was happy when it arrived. However, it DID NOT even come close to fitting my boat. I was asked to take pics and I did and sent them. After a few emails and lots of time later I got a response to send it back on my nickle and they would relace it with the right one. So I did what I was asked and waited and waited. Another CUSTOM FIT boat cover arrived but when I put it on it was even worse. Too small, no trolling motor pocket but did have a motor cover that didn't fit and I didn't even order. No thought nor time put into my order and as I see from others had chatted with reps on line who assured me they would have what I want. If you are from Canada beware of their return policy as well. I have been waiting on a response for some time but nothing. I even sent more pics of the latest one sent but like I stated still nothing.

The cover does not fit properly- it is 5-6 inches short and the wind blows it right off. I asked for a solution to the problem when I called customer service and they were not only non accommodating but condescending. For a company that claims such as superior product I would have thought the product and experience would have been completely different. I would not recommend this product/service.

They sent a boat cover that was way too big, I sent it back for an exchange and it took 3 months and about 10 phone calls, evey time they promised it would ship in 24 to 48 hrs, to get them to send the replacement. Would have taken a refund but they wanted to charge me a 20% restocking fee. Finally got new cover and it lasted about 30 days before it started leaking. Now I have to try and get a warranty replacement and am sure that will be just as much a hassle. Don't buy anything from this company.

Seal Skin Covers Can I give 0 or negative stars?

Can I give 0 or negative stars? This company is a fraud. I purchased a car cover in good faith. The wasted no time charging me for my purchase. I received email indicating order shipped and tracking info. *** tracking showed label created package not received at *** yet. I contacted Seal Skin at chat line (cannot call them) and they gave me a PR line about how sorry they are. I received another email claiming shipped. Checked tracking info and *** tracking showed label created package not received at *** yet. This is 2 weeks into this process. Contacted them and requested to cancel the order. 2 days later I contacted them to check status at was told order was shipped. I questioned why when I requested cancellation 2 days prior, then was told "I see the note, it was not updated. Received a credit memo 4 days later but still have not been issued credit to *** and am waiting for them to respond to *** inquiry for *** to close my claim against the company and get my money back. Of course, their credit is minus a $3 processing fee. This company is a fraud. they claim material ships while they wait for China shipments. *** shipment info is from ***, *** payment was to ***. This company is nothing but a rip off.

Seal Skin Covers Customer service is horrible!

Customer service is horrible! Do not order from this company. If they answer the phone they will hang up on you acting like the call was dropped. If you send an email they might answer it in about 3-4 day if at all. I ordered a cover for my jet ski and the day it was to arrive it didn't deliver. I called them and no answer. I emailed them and they said that my cover was back ordered (it showed in stock when I ordered it) for 3-4 weeks. They said that they had another color in stock and would send it. A week later I never received it and emailed them back. They said that color was out of stock. I asked for a refund and they never answered the email. I called and after 4 attempts of waiting on hold for 30 minuets each, I actually spoke to Alex and sent me a tracking number (during the call) for the cover that they told me was not in stock. I asked to speak to management to voice my complaint to find out why they bill the merchandise before shipping the product and he said he couldn't do that and disconnected the call. According to the tracking number the order is ready for shipping but was never picked up. This has been going on for a little over a month. Do not order from this company. You will loose your money and go a little crazy dealing with them. If I could give them negative stars it would be -5.

Seal Skin Covers I had nothing but a good experience in buying a boat cover for my Lund Adventure Sport 1775

I had nothing but a good experience in buying a boat cover for my Lund Adventure Sport 1775. I received the discount that was offered; it arrived sooner than expected; its fit is perfectly functional, and it has performed as advertised. The boat cover that came with the Lund is a true custom fit and very sleek, but it leaks like a sieve when it rains. We've been in the Yellowstone area for two weeks now with frequent thunderstorms, hail, and serious downpours. When properly adjusted, the cover allows water to run off rather than pooling, and in the morning our boat is always bone dry. It is also easier to put on and take off than the Lund cover, and it is thinner so it is easier to store on the boat. The cover is large enough to protect my motor in the back and my trolling motor in the front. When not in use, our boat is generally stored indoors, and when we trailer the boat, we use the Lund cover. With this situation, I expect the cover to last a number of years. I assume it might be a different story if it was stored 24x7 in the sun -- but then any cloth cover takes a beating under such conditions. I am sorry to hear that others had a negative experience, but I have been very pleased with my purchase experience and the performance of my boat cover given its price relative to the cost of buying a new Lund cover.

Seal Skin Covers Worse buying experience I have ever had in my life !

Worse buying experience I have ever had in my life ! I started by asking if the cover I was interested in would fit my truck, they said yes so I ordered it. When it came it took two of us to put it on the vehicle and turned out to be way too much material on both ends and only came down to the top of running boards so I sent a note saying I wanted to return it and NO exchange ! I called and called and sent messages after messages. Not only that, when we were rolling it up to send back we discovered a long seam that was not sewed and a wide open area. The ad said 5 layers of material but we only found one plus it is *** made too boot ! Finally they said we will send you a printable shipping label for return. I was afraid my time was going to run out so I finally sent it back at my expense,( $27.60 and then *** shipping labels started coming, at least three but too late. Then I began trying to get a refund, like pulling teeth on a chicken ! They kept saying we will get that to you right away. I kept after them by phone and email about every other day till I finally broke them down and received a refund of $129.00. I lost a lot . I even sent a complaint to the *** police department twice with not even a courtesy reply back ? The town must really be proud of their cops serving and protecting the people ? This was at least a month and a half trying to get straightened out. Merry Christmas to those "Jokers:" NOT !

I ordered a pontoon boat cover (providing the exact year/make/model) from this company and it took over a month for delivery (despite promising *** business days). I repeatedly contacted the customer service (which is virtually non-existent) and eventually requested to speak with a manager. I was told that the managers "do not have phones" and I would be contacted through email. When the boat cover finally arrived it wasn't even sized or shaped for a pontoon boat. In addition, it was paper thin and very poor quality. I contacted customer service again by phone, as well as email, requesting a refund (as I didn't want to do anymore business with this company). Instead of following through with my verbal and written request for a refund, they automatically sent a replacement cover. I contacted them AGAIN through all avenues and explained AGAIN that I didn't want the poor quality merchandise and didn't want to do business with their company. I requested a full refund because the reason for the return was due to a mistake made BY THEIR COMPANY, nothing on our part. Of course they stated that a full refund wasn't possible because they need to "restock" the merchandise (so they can sell it so some other sucker). DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Both the business and merchandise are SUB STANDARD and POOR QUALITY. You won't get any help with customer service and apparently managers are non-existent. Responses to your emails are mostly "canned responses". (Just look at their responses to ALL OF THE COMPLAINTS).

Seal Skin Covers DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! This company is nothing but a ripoff. Ordered a boat cover on June 15th with the understanding it would be shipped in 24-48 hours, but was never sent. Contacted customer service online, June 20th and was told delay was due to Covid-19. Reached out by phone on June 24th and was told I was given a phony tracking number and would be sent another one in 24-28 hours. Did not receive until June 30th, only to see *** is still waiting on the package. Contacted through *** messenger on June 30th and was told, "give me a few", but no one ever responded. Tried to contact again through *** Messenger on July 1, no response. Called on July 7th and was placed on hold over and over again. Called on July 14th, placed on hold over 30 minutes and was disconnected. Called and went through Sales, was placed on hold while I was still speaking. Went through Live Chat requesting a refund, only to be sent another tracking number while being told I could not be given a refund because the cover had been shipped! What in the world! Telling them absolutely not and I wanted it cancelled and sent a refund, they told me I could return it, and then closed the chat. In very fine print they tell you they charge a 20% restocking fee! Why should I go through the hassle of returning it and being charged a restocking fee if the cover has never been sent? Tried to chat again and they would not respond. This is the worst company I have ever had to deal with and the very first time I EVER filled out a Complaintsboard.com complaint.

Seal Skin Covers This company's return policy is the following: Returns have a 20% restocking fee AND you can only exchange your cover once and within 30 days

This company's return policy is the following: Returns have a 20% restocking fee AND you can only exchange your cover once and within 30 days. The scam is that they only have a few sizes of covers. So when you get the wrong size the first time and return it they keep 20% of your money and if they replace it with the wrong size then you are stuck with it! Win/win for them, lose/lose for you. Here was my experience:I used their selection tool online. How hard can this be right? You enter your exact car model and they send you a cover that fits your car ... nope! I received a cover the was about three feet too short for my car. So I called them. You then have to submit photos via email to show what's wrong, they send you and RMA, you return the cover. Then you have to wait for them to get your return, check your return. They finally sent me a replacement (it took about three weeks to get to me). I happened to be out of town so I didn't have a chance to try it and the replacement was long enough but now it was about 4 feet too narrow (see photo)! It's now been over 30 days since I received my replacement so I call them to see if they will make an exception since they sent the wrong cover twice and the guy says - not only will they not make an exception but even if it was within the 30 days my only option would have been to return the cover and have them withhold a 20% restocking fee. So that's how the scam works. Few cover sizes - they will send you a cover that hopefully fits ok but if it doesn't then you will either be stuck with a cover that doesn't fit or lose 20% of your money.

I ordred a boat cover from Boatcovers.com that was selected buy using the online selction dropdown system that identifies the exact match to your boat. The cover doesn't come close to fitting and its not the guality advertesed. The are no directions with the cover or availible on the website. The support pole that I paid extra for is a cheap item that wouldn't support the load. The shipping box was damaged and I'm not sure if everthing is in the box. I opened a return ticket and was told I would get the return documents I 24-48 hours. Never got response. Can't send emails the the customer servce email beacuse its not active. The emails came back undeliverable and link not found. I tried this many times. I sent a message to them through *** still no response. Has many online chats with them and each time I'm told I will hear back in 24-48 hours-never happens. It looks like they are not going to honor their 100% satisfaction garrentee as advertized on the website. I have had to escalated through *** beacuse i just can't get them to respond and for them to honor their advertized 100% satisfaction garrentee. I want a 100% refund without the 20% restocking fee beause their computerized selection system picked the cover based on the make, model and year of the boat. Also their product and servces are not as advertized. I wish I had looked at reviews and the Complaintsboard.com first. I can understand why they have a "c" raing by the Complaintsboard.com. I just want may money back, I paid them in good faith and they should be returning the same professionalism. When their support email link is unavailabe and your email is returned and no one from customer support respondes one gets suspicious.

Seal Skin Covers Do not order anything from this company!

Do not order anything from this company! I ordered a motorcycle cover on Nov 6, 2019 and was told it would ship in 2 days. When I didn't receive my order by the following week I contacted customer service to find out where my order was. The first time I called they said I would receive a tracking number within 24 hours and I never did. I called them the following day and they once again promised a tracking number and I made sure I stayed on the phone with them until I received the information. They indicated the item was shipped the prior day and when I actually looked up the tracking number they provided it indicated it was only a label and the actual merchandise had not been picked up by ***. Therefore, customer service lied to me. Also, i noticed the time stamp for the label and realized that it was generated while I was on the phone with customer service. I called back the following day to tell them that they only provided a label, but the product was not shipped yet and when I asked to talk to his supervisor they indicated they had a policy that customers could not speak with a manager. As of today, I still have a label with no actual shipment, which is completely worthless. I read other reviews that indicated that the customer would be charged a "restocking" fee and would not get back their full amount of the purchase. Plus, others were not getting any refund at all. Therefore, I contacted my credit card company and had the charge disputed and received a full refund that way. You will get no resolution, run around and lies from customer service and you will end up completely frustrated. So do yourself a favor and do not do business with this scam of a business.

I called about ordering a Seal Skin cover for my boat and was verbally assured by both Grant and Samantha that they had a cover that would fit my boat. Their written "guarantee" also said their cover would "properly fit." I placed the order. When it came, it was way too small. I sent it back with their mailing label and was sent a second cover. It also was too small. Numerous times that I called I asked to talk to a supervisor or manager, but was told that was not possible and to contact them by email, which I did several times. I never got a personalized response via email...always canned. I was told I could get a 3rd cover, and that sale would be "final" even though there was no assurance it would fit (the first two did not). I would also have to pay a $30 shipping fee. I was told I could return the 2nd cover, using their label, but I would be charged 20% of the purchase price for restocking costs. The person on the phone said he talked to his supervisor and was told they would not waive the 20%. I elected for the refund since the first two did not fit. I asked them to re-consider and not charge me the 20% restocking fee since it was no fault of mine that they did not have a cover that fit. They would not do so. They refunded my purchase cost, less the 20%. Fortunately, *** said that it was wrong for them to charge me a restocking fee. They and they would dispute the withholding the 20% on my behalf, and credited my account for the 20% charge. Again, when Seal Skin Covers guarantees verbally and in writing the cover will properly fit, and several are sent that do not fit, the customer should not be charged (penalized) 20% of the purchase price when it is their fault the covers did not fit! Horrible customer service!

Seal Skin Covers *** not acceptable

not acceptable. Ordered a cover for my snowmobile and it did not fit. I called and spoke to customer service, they told me they would send out cover strap extensions to make the cover fit better. I was told they would be mailed out and I should see them in 3 days. 4 days later I called again to get an update seeing how I have not received the strap extensions or an email with the tracking info like they said I would get. I was told they don't offer extensions and that I must have talked to a new person who didn't know what they were doing. This person told me I had to return the cover. They emailed me a return label and with the email it stated that when they receive the returned cover, they would process the new better fit cover and it would be shipped back to me withing *** hours, along with that I would also get an email with the new cover's tracking info. They received the cover Dec 28th. On the 30th I called and they told me my new cover would get sent out right away and I would get tracking info by the end of the day. 2 days later I still never received an email with tracking so this time decided to email customer service with my concerns. 2 days later still no email from customer service regarding my concerns or a email with tracking info. Called customer service today AGAIN Jan 4, customer service said "sorry about that, I will be sure it goes out by the end of the day today and you will receive and email with the tracking number info". I explained how many times I have been told this to customer service and they had nothing to say. The day ended again with no email to notify me that my new fit cover is on it's way. I was charged money for this product weeks ago and still have nothing. It feels in a way like theft. My money was taken, I have no cover and no one from the company will contact me regarding this mess. Not sure the next step. Probably to just call my credit card company and reverse the purchase by explaining to them the situation.

Seal Skin Covers This company told us when given the model and yr of our deck boat that we didn't have to worry it would fit

This company told us when given the model and yr of our deck boat that we didn't have to worry it would fit. They sent us a pontoon boat cover. They only make exchanges, no 100% refund as charge a 20% restocking fee. Even when their mistake. It also took us calling them when it didn't come in the week they said it it would arrive to tell us the color was out of stock but never notified us of this until we called 3 weeks after order to check status and said they could send another color. So wasted that 3 weeks time. WE returned for exchange which also took about several weeks process as they dont ship new one tuil the old is returned. Meanwhile fall comes and in Mi had to store boat without cover at indoor place for boats and we can't get to it to try the boat on it. So we are stuck with choice of return with 20% charge to resotck, or waiting til spiorng to try and if doesn't fit no refund . You can never talk to anyone except when ordering, emails take 3-4 days between questions, They respond to emails with "cut and past" answers regarding and returns, send a prepaid label to return so no hassle return but unfair refund but no beinding on refund policy even tho their fault due to their mistake YEt they claim excellant customer service. That is far from the truth. It also has no spots on cover to put a pole to keep eater from poolling and allowing it to run off. Was told you can place them anywhere you want. wou dbe very hard to keep poles in place without a place to secure it to the cover. Boat unable to test if fits now that in storage until spring and by then their 30 day return poiicy is done and we'd be out the entire price paid, They would not bend on that weither. DO NOT use this company with an older boat esp Tthey are a rip off. Would never do business with them again, They are related to another comany with a didfferent name. research carefully, Also only foreigners were ever talked to about orders and very hard to udnerstand and told to say certain things, The cover box said MADE IN CHINA which is not advedrtised. Every call we had we heard the same the same speals, were told we could ask questions after email came from return dept and never once upon asking them to cal lus to discuss did we ever get a call. Ony pat answrs repeated each time. Stay away to avoid frustration and lies, and dsiappointment and being ripped off money.

Seal Skin Covers I Ordered a Bimini and a Cover for my boat

I Ordered a Bimini and a Cover for my boat. I was speaking with customer service about my boat, and about my needs, *** was very helpful, they recommended a specific cover, and a specific Bimini for my boat, It was nice and easy dealing with them. However, they were wrong, the bimini was way too narrow for my boat, i had reached out to them, and made the exchange, that also went pretty well, they sent me a return label and everything was good there, i shipped it back the next day, and the tracking number showed they got it two days later. It then sat in their warehouse for two weeks (when they say it will ship out with in 48 hours) I reached out to them, was very pleasant, and they shipped it out right away and it got to me very quick from that point. When i got the new bimini, i installed it (still a few inches too narrow, but i made it work rather than risk waiting another few weeks. Once the bimini was installed, thats when i realized that the cover was probably also for a much narrower boat. The cover fit perfectly fine with out the Bimini, but i was told by customer service the cover will fit over the Bimini when folded. The cover almost fits but on the sides doesn't come down far enough. I reached out to customer service on the phone had a conversation, explained what happened with the bimini, and that i now need a new cover because the one recommended was too narrow. My main concern with the exchange is my boat will be uncovered for at minimum 4 days, at maximum, who knows if they drop the ball again? It's rain season and raining almost daily, so i asked if they could send a new one, before i return the old one. the agent said most likely and he would pass that to his supervisor, I then received an email after our conversation, with the return label and the 'notes sent to supervisor' where the notes were "customer requires an exchange" I just called them up, asked about it and was told that's definitely not possible, which i understand, but they first guy should have said that also. I then asked if the 20% restocking fee could be adjusted if i were to buy a 2nd cover, and return the first, they were less then helpful. My main point of this review is beware of their 'helpful' agents, I've been dealing with them now for aver a month and a half and haven't really gotten anywhere, i need to wait for a week or two of no predicted rain to return my cover. It would just be nice if they could work with me. After all they recommended the wrong cover, and the wrong bimini, and then sent me out a bimini that was STILL wrong. I actually was going to rate them a little higher until i realized that every step of the way was an issue.

Seal Skin Covers My wife bought a car cover from these people for me for Christmas which was received on 12/16

My wife bought a car cover from these people for me for Christmas which was received on 12/16. I got the cover on Christmas Day. It was about a week later before I could wash my car and put the cover on. The cover seemed too big but I kept it on the car to see how it would do. Well, it is too big. The wind (slight wind) will blow it off. If using their cable and lock to secure it as directed, the cover will still blow half off the car with their lock banging against the car. I sent them an email or ticket on 1/11/22 to which I never heard back from them. I sent them another ticket on 1/17/22. Never heard back. So I called them on 1/21/22 and the guy that answered asked what email I sent it from, so I told him. He comes back a couple minutes later and said that the cover isnt under warranty because it was past the 30 day warranty. I tried to explain that I havent heard back and that I had previously sent a ticket in but he wouldnt listen to anything. He said they sent me an email back but they absolutely did not. There was no email in my spam folder or inbox from them. He would only say that it wasnt under warranty while being extremely rude. He finally hung up the phone on me. When I called, 1/21/22, technically is out of the warranty. But when I first opened a ticket for the problem, 1/11/22, it was under their warranty timeframe. I dont know what their problem is but if they would listen to what all transpired and when I submitted the first ticket, then they would know it was under warranty. This company absolutely doesnt care about their customers or needs someone else answering the phones.

I ordered a boat cover on 4/22/2022 based on year, make and model and length of my boat from this company. *** Tracker, Panfish, 16 foot length. The cover they sent was too long and too wide and I requested an exchange for one that fits better which their company has approved. They are suppose to be sending a return *** shipping label to my email on file which they have not done. They have told me for the past few days that its been sent and if I have not received it give it till that evening or the next morning for it to arrive in my inbox. I have yet to receive the return *** ship label. The cover is repackaged and ready to be sent back to their company for exchange once I receive the label. I feel this company is stalling and its not going to honor the exchange which they have already approved. I have added attachments which show their approval for return and pictures of the cover on the boat showing its too big. They sent a cover for a boat 20 foot in length and mine is 16 foot in ...

I ordered a pwc cover and didnt like the way it fit so I started a return online. After 2 phone calls, I was finally sent the return label. I sent it out and it was delivered via *** on 4/27. According to their policy-I should receive an email stating my refund and should expect the money back into my account within 3-5 days. On 5/3, I called to ask what the status of my refund was and I was told I would see it by either the end of that day or the following day which would be 5 days. Those days came and gone. So I tried calling the company on 5/5 and the phone call would drop. I tried from 2 different phones to make sure it wasnt happening on my end. I go to the website where I can chat with someone so I did. I explained the situation and was told he was going to send all my info to his manger and I should see my refund by Friday 5/6. It is now 5/7 with no refund. I am now reaching out to you to help me get my $101 back. I only ordered from this company bc of their return policy and clearly false 5 star rating. I will attach a screen shot of the chat conversation below.

This cover was a Christmas gift that didnt fit my 72 *** C-10, and I know its after 30 days but the frustration I have is that the fit was no where close to what it should have been. The cover was put away out of frustration. The sizing is the basic problem and the money that was spent and no one wants to even help

Seal Skin Covers On July *,, I ordered 2 covers for my Sea Doos, I did receive an email stating my order had been placed but never received a tracking

On July *,, I ordered 2 covers for my Sea Doos, I did receive an email stating my order had been placed but never received a tracking number. 7//19- I called to check on my order, I was given the tracking number and told to call ***. I called *** and was told the package was undeliverable because they left out my company name. I asked why they did not call the number and they replied, we don't contact the customer, so we just sent them back. I called SealSkin back and let them know they stated they had not received them back yet. The rep I spoke with stated they could just send 2 more out even though they didn't have the old ones yet. 7//19 called to get the tracking number on the new ones and was informed they hadn't been shipped because I would need to wait until they received the ones back. I stated just cancel the order as the lack of customer. 7//19 received a email stating they would waive the shipping cost to have them reshipped. I replied with cancel the order. 7//19 a rep called me and asked me again if I wanted to cancel them and I replied yes. He stated he would get that taken care for me. At no time did anyone say anything about a restocking fee. 7//19 I received a email stating that I would be charged a 20% restrocking fee for a order I never received. 8/*/19- called again regarding the shipping fee and was informed it doesn't matter that I never received the product. As of today 8//19 I still don't think it is right to charge someone 20% $45.00 to restock something that they messed up on, by not including the company name. As of today 8//19 I still have not received a refund.

I purchased a boat cover from them in October . I just got my boat out of storage in March 2022 and the dark blue cover I purchased is totally faded and now grey in less than 6 months. I emailed them with my concern and they are refusing to do anything for me. The quality of their product is completely Misrepresented on their website.

I ordered a car cover from *** I was charged $127.50 to a Elite Boat LLC on my PayPal account. The charge on PayPal credit is shown as Elite Era LLC. I placed the order in March 11, 2022. The item was never shipped. I have contacted the company via their website 3 times. The first time they said they would cancel the order if it hadn't been sent yet. I heard nothing. It wasn't sent. I contacted them again and they promised to refund the money and that I would receive the refund within 2 days. Today, another week later, I contacted them again. This time they said that my refund would be processed within the hour. It was not. I found a page on *** dedicated to problems with this company. I am not alone. This company appears to be defrauding customers as standard practice.

Ive recently purchased two car covers from these scamming, false advertising thieves and both of them had identical defects. I FINALLY had one of them replaced under their warranty but turns out ALL off them have defects. They claim to sell WEATHERPROOF outdoor covers, however all three covers they have provided me end up making my cars filthier than what it was when I covered them - and water still gets through, instantly ruining the cover. I am an automotive detailer, so I make sure that my car is always spotless and I thought that purchasing these covers would help me do so, as I do not drive either car in question all that much. Ive pointed out the issue and all they send is the same copy-paste response and then refuse to acknowledge me even existing. They are falsely advertising their product and their customer service is non-existent. I need them to refund me for BOTH covers, as their product is not as advertised and I want my money back. These covers are worthless, just like them.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a cover for my 1972 Boston Whaler Montauck with bow and side rails

I ordered a cover for my 1972 Boston Whaler Montauck with bow and side rails. They said it was a match. What they sent me was a generic cover that covered the boat, but definitely not a custom fit. The first time I put it on, one of the buckles on the cover ripped completely off the cover. I contacted them for a warranty claim, they approved the warranty, but wanted to charge me $39 to process the warranty. After some back and forth, they did back off of the processing fee. I got the return label and returned the cover. After I tracked the package, I contacted them through their chat two weeks after they received it. I got an email with a tracking number, also stating that do to Covid they were running behind. I constantly tracked the package for two weeks and it never left the company. I reached out again using the chat and got this email response: Hello James, Thank you for ordering with Seal Skin Covers. Unfortunately, the COLOR for the cover you have ordered is out of stock. The cover you selected will be available within an estimate of 2-4 weeks. We apologize about our inventory as season is in full swing and we are doing our best to keep up with the demand. We do have these colors available to ship now:(GREY). Please reply back to this email if you would like any of the colors mentioned. Please reply Backorder if you prefer to wait for the original color you selected. Please reply Refund if you would like to cancel your order. How could they issue a shipping label for something they didn't have. I was willing to take the GRAY cover that they offered because the original blue one that I had was fading to gray in the Florida sun anyway

On 1/18/2022 I authorized my Discover card to pay Seal Skin Covers $127.50 for a car cover to fit my *** it. After several emails the company sent a second cover. Although this one remedied the bad stitching and holes, it proved to be an even worse fit than than original cover. Convinced that I had received a "semi-fit" cover intended for a *** Tank, I documented that disaster with several photos and, again after several frustrating (and usually ignored!) emails, returned the unusable cover (with documentation) as per the company's instructions. This time I'd had enough and requested a refund. That was about a month ago. When the company (with its vaunted customer service) refused to reply to several emails (see supporting documents!) I phoned. After a fourth try, they finally agreed to issue a refund ...less a RESTOCKING FEE! When I complained I was informed that the fee was "company policy." Please explain how it is appropriate to charge a customer for the company's inability to provide useable merchandise? Their Restocking fee is nothing short of theft! And incidentally, my Discover card has yet to receive ANY refund from these people!

Me and my wife purchased a jet ski cover online from the company called Seal Skin Covers in November . They sent us the wrong size cover. We bought the jet ski cover for a three seater jet ski but they sent us the jet ski cover for two seater jet ski. We contacted the company's customer service in December via email and asked for an exchange with the right size cover but after weeks of waiting they sent us the wrong size cover again even though we mentioned what we need is a three seater jet ski cover and they tried to charge us $25 for this exchange. In March 2022, we contacted their customer service again via email and phone and asked for a full refund this time but they said it has been more than 30 days since they mailed the product so they rejected the refund. I told them that I am in the US Navy and I was away from home and I was not able to contact them earlier but nevertheless I contacted them at my earliest convenience. After I said that they agreed to do exchange one more time. Today I called their customer service to follow up on that and this time they said they also rejected the exchange. So now not only they refused to do refund but they also refused to do exchange. I am kindly asking complaintsboard.com for support to get a full refund. We have never used the jet ski cover so they should accept a full refund.

Seal Skin Covers I purchased a boat cover from Seal Skin Covers

I purchased a boat cover from Seal Skin Covers. Prior to placing the online order I contacted Seal Skin Covers via phone to insure that they had a cover that would fit my *** Sea Ray 270 Sundeck. I was informed that the cover that I intended to order would fit my boat. I ordered the cover online (order #***) (additional reference number "request ***). When I received the cover it did not fit my boat on the sides and was about 1 foot two short on both sides (2 foot total). I contacted Seal Skin Covers provided pictures and was told a replacement would be sent. To shorten the entire experience I will jump to my phone call to Seal Skin Covers on 11/8 in which I was informed that they do not make a cover that fits my boat and that they would refund my money. Several days later I received an email stating that I needed to send the cover back (which they already acknowledged having received) and I would then be refunded my purchase price minus 20% restocking fee. I again called and told them that I was not asking them for a refund, I was asking them for a replacement and since that told me that that the cover would fit and it did not and they per them that they don't produce a cover that will fit I should be entitled to a complete refund. I was told that this was denied and that there was not a member of management available nor would they provided me a name or contact info of a supervisor. I paid $424.15 and was refunded only $339.32 thus I paid $84.83 for nothing. They obviously knew from the start that they did not have a cover that would fit my boat. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide. Please let me know if you need any additional information.

My letter to Seal Skin Covers: *** was RUDE!To: *** Date: March 3, 2022 To whom it concerns: I ordered two (2) covers and upon receiving them, I learned they sent me the wrong size. I was asked "do you wish to reorder"? I responded "No, I don't have time to wait because I am leaving on a business trip needed my jet ski's covered before I left". I purchased two new ski covers from my local marine shop and when I returned from my business trip, i noticed another package from your company on my front steps. I IMMEDIATELY contacted your company to request a return label. I NEVER even opened the bag! Now I see, you charged me a stocking fee of $46.80 (20%). I have *** on a recorded call from my iPhone. This was YOUR fault, and I am demanding a returned balance of $46.80 IMMEDIATELY or I will file a claim with the complaintsboard.com, contact the attorney generals office, but more than that, destroy your name all over social media. I have already contacted my lawyer. You can't argue with a recorded tape!I expect to hear from someone no later than the end of today. Failure to do so will result in my LOUD voice all over social media.

on feb 19 i purchased a grey seal skin boat cover for my sea fox 236 dc boat along with a matching motor cover. I was in touch with the company through phone and online chat. when i told them what boat I had they suggested one of their covers and stated it would *** and that if it didnt I could return it for one that fits no issues.it arrived march 4th as soon as I tried to put the new cover on my boat I found it didnt fit at all despite the fact that the boat is less than the measurements supplied for that top. I also noted that the motor cover was bright blue..not grey as ordered I immediately contacted seal skin to arrange a return..they e mailed me and told me that they dont do returns to canada and that the sale was final.i Tried to discuss it with them but they have not responded at all since telling me no returns. This is rediculous.they never said no returns and in fact said returns were no issue at all.they chose which cover would fit and it didnt come close to fitting.they sent me a motor cover in the wrong color.and now they wont take it back or exchange.this is hands down the worse experience i have had with an online delivery.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a boat cover for a 2019 NauticStar 215XTS on December ****,

I ordered a boat cover for a 2019 NauticStar 215XTS on December ***,. The very next day I received an email stating my cover had been shipped, yet there was no tracking number or info. I gave the allotted 5-7 business days from shipment date and my cover never showed up. On December ***, I contacted their customer service about my cover to see what was going on and if they could send me the correct tracking number. They then stated that they "looked into my order and that the tracking number linked to my order stated that the cover had been delivered days before, on December ***,". At this point I stated to the company that the cover did NOT get delivered that day. My spouse was home all day AND we have security cameras running 24/7 on all our doors. The company did not try to fix the issue, they only stated that it was "out of their hands" and I had to take it up with ***. I contacted *** immediately and they said they would "open an investigation". I contacted SealSkin again and informed them that *** stated they didnt know anything and would look in to it. I also informed them that if this wasnt handled immediately, I would go through my bank for the refund since SealSkin refused to refund my order or fix the issue and send a new cover. on December ***, I also RE-ORDERED another cover because the sale they had on them was ending soon and I didnt want to miss out on it. I have received a shipment email for that order as well, yet there is NO tracking number. Surprise surprise. At this moment I am completely fed up with this company and will make sure that I recommend ANY other company instead of theirs from now on. I am now out of DOUBLE the money for the cover and still have not received a cover. Its absolutely ridiculous.

Seal Skin Covers There are 2 issues, refund issue of less than 100% of purchase and false advertising

There are 2 issues, refund issue of less than 100% of purchase and false advertising. I ordered a car cover from this company, which also arrived late before the event that I needed it for. Their website showed a picture of the car cover and description of the one that I ordered, I ordered their supposed best cover. When I received it, it was late and looked like a cheap table cloth cover and it did not match the description or pictures next to the model that I ordered. I could only communicate with them via e-mail and it always takes 24+ hours to get a response. I took a picture of the cover and sent it to them, also with the SKU and they stated that it was the correct cover. However, when asked why the cover did not match the pictures and description on their website, they completely ignored my comments. This leads me to believe that they are advertising falsely, since the product I received was nothing like the pictures and description. They claim they are direct manufacturers and that is why they can offer quality covers at prices less then other car cover companies. I have purchased several car covers from reputable companies like California Car Cover and are using 3 of them now. I thought I would try their product based on their website pictures and descriptions, because it falsely looked like existing car covers I already own. All I wanted was what was described, but they could not deliver what the advertised. I asked for a full refund, because the cover does not match the descriptions. I also want to be sure to warn others of their deceptive practices. They will not give me a full refund, because they have policy of 20% re-stocking fee. However, I never received anything that even looked close to what I ordered from their website. Thanks

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a SealSkin Carcover for my automobile

I ordered a SealSkin Carcover for my automobile. Provided the exact year, make and model. The cover does not even come close to fitting the vehicle. Unfortunately, the car cover arrived the very last day of the scheduled shipping "window" and I missed receiving it and being able to check the carcover. I had to fly to *** the day before the cover arrived, due to a death in my family and was away for about 6 weeks taking care of family business. When I returned, I checked the cover and the fit. I discovered that SeakSkin had made a mistake and sent me the wrong sized cover. I contacted them by phone and spoke to what appeared to be an "out-sourced" foreign call center. The person was reading off a script, saying I missed the 30 day exchange period and there was nothing that they could do. I asked him if he would please put in a request to *** Help Desk explaining the circumstances. He did and I received an email (found it in my spam folder 3 days later). The email stated the same thing... No exchange after 30 days. I called again and the same treatment. Not interested in my circumstances; Not interested in talking responsibility that they sent the wrong cover; Kept interrupting me when I tried to speak; Didn't want to listen to the human side of the situation. Basically, they could care less if they had a satisfied customer or not and had no interest in "owning" the fact that SealSkin made the mistake in the first place by sending the wrong cover. Basically, they had my money and could care less. I hope that they will understand the human side of this and just correct the mistake that they made. All I want is to exchange for the correct cover...Otherwise, there are plenty of Review Boards that I intend to share my experience on.

I ordered a "custom fit " boat cover on 6//19, they assured me the cover would fit and the cover was made of 5 layers of the best material and was UV resistant. It took 2 weeks to receive the cover. I tried to install it, but it came with no instructions for the "do it yourself" strap system. I asked for instruction which they finally sent me. The cover did not fit very well and the straps were a pain to install, but I put it on and sent them an email complaining about the fit. It took them several weeks to finally respond that I could exchange it for a better fit. When I went out to take it off the boat I noticed that it had already faded badly from the sunlight so I emailed them again asking for a refund as I didn't like the fit or quality. I repacked the cover and sent it back. I responded to their emails which say "respond to this email and we will get back to you in 24-48 hours" . Days past with no response , so I emailed them again, no response. On 8/*/19, I finally called them and they told me they had just received the returned cover 2 days ago and would be sending me another one. I told them I had asked for a refund several times with no response, they told me they didn't respond about a refund because the "ticket was in shipping not accounting". I asked why I hadn't received any responses to several of my emails and they had no answer. They told me I would get a refund of my purchase minus 20%. I complained that I feel I should get a full refund because the cover didn't fit right, faded in the sunlight after 2 weeks and was a very light weight fabric, had a poor strapping system and their customer service followup is very, very poor. Their product does not match their advertisements for UV resistance, fit and ease of installation. Now I have to find another cover to order and hope to have better luck.

Seal Skin Covers On Saturday, November 28th I ordered a cover for my boat

On Saturday, November 28th I ordered a cover for my boat. Order number ***. The order clearly states my boat doesn't have a bow rail and that I ordered the Navy Blue cover. I received the cover in about a week, but received the wrong color. I contacted Seal Skin and they were reluctant at first to send me another cover and offered a 5% discount. I stated that I wanted the cover I ordered. The sent me a shipping label and I returned it immediately on or around Dec 10th, 2020. Several weeks went by and didn't receive anything and I called and they said it was shipped and sent me a tracking number on Jan 4th, 2021. The tracking number didn't work and I called them again and they sent another email on Jan 11th saying that the color was backordered. About another month or so went by and I finally received the cover in mid February. On Saturday, March 5th I was finally able to get the boat out (it is winter) and tried to put the cover on the boat. It appears I was sent the cover for a boat with a bow rail. I contacted them again and they said that I had already requested one exchange and they could not do it again, but could return it with 20% restocking fee. My issue is that the first return was their mistake, not mine...they sent the wrong color from the order. They said their covers are semi-custom and may have an extra foot or two of material. I understand this, however, it is my understanding they sent a cover for a boat with a bow rail, which requires more material than a boat without a bow rail, which my original order stated my boat does not have the bow rail. The cover I have has about 5-6 extra feet and no way it could be used for trailering as the cover would be hanging on the roadway. I do not like the fact they are blaming the exchanges on me, while it is their shipping errors and I have waited patiently for 3 months.

Seal Skin Covers ordered a $230 cover on 6

ordered a $230 cover on 6.*.20. Received confirmation via email. As of 6.*** did not get product. Called CS and on hold for 33 minutes. Spoke to not one. Got on website and chatted with CSR. They had no record on my order. Chat person apologized and said order was re-entered and would ship out that day. I got a tracking # while on chat. Never recieved an email confirmation. Ask them to ship out another method other than ground and was refused this service. I told them i would pay extra to get this faster. Nope, cannot do it they said. Offered me a 10% discount. I thanked them for that, but said no i would rather have them ship this quicker and apply this discount to the extra shipping cost. Nope, cannot do that. Already shipped they said. 20 minutes on chat and they stated it was already put on a UPS truck and could not change ship methods. I CALLED . I then got an email stating a $10 discount on my order... instead of 10% discount. I tracked product and no movement for 4 days. Called back on Wed, june , and they stated it had not shipped yet, we have to re-enter order and reship. Tracking # still did not show movement. Called back on june *** to ask for tracking info and confirm order, still was not shipped from their facility! Tried to explain my concern and disappointment but was very nice on the phone. Young lady spoke the same words as on a script each time i asked a question. I then explained to here i just wanted a refund since apparently it was never entered or shipped. She was very short on the phone, said she placed a credit request for my order and when i asked for a email confirmation, she *** HUNG UP ON ME! This company is a joke. I understand companies are struggling and all they have to do is communicate this to there customers. I did also ask for a manager to reach out to me and discuss issue. NOTHING. I am waiting to see if credit comes thru.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a boat cover from Seal Skins

I ordered a boat cover from Seal Skins. Their online ads advertise that their covers have a guaranteed fit, 5 layers of fabric and easy returns and 10 year warranty. I ordered a cover by entering my boat's information and answering a few questions. First of all upon placing my order I never got any kind of email confirmation or receipt and no documentation of any kind came inside the box, how can they honor a 10 year warranty if they dont provide any proof of purchase? I ordered their "best" model and it was not boat cover made of 5 layers of fabric as advertised. I installed the cover on my boat and it wasnt long enough or wide enough to cover the entire boat. Being highly disappointed in the quality of the product, the fit and the buying process, I decided I would return it for a refund rather than exchange for another poor quality product. Upon going through the process to return using the online form I find that they want to charge me a 20 percent restocking fee. This restocking fee is unfair being that my cover did not fit at all and did not come as advertised. It is no fault of my own that the cover did not fit therefore I do not feel itis fair to a pay a 20% restocking fee. They send a cover that does not fit, take $50 of my money and get their cover back to be resold. I made numerous attempts to reach the company to dispute this charge and all I got was standardized replys to emails. Several calls to the customer service line got me nowhere... The reps claim they have no means to contact anybody from the actual company. One told me a manager MIGHT call me, which they never did. Reaching out via facebook messager reps would say they were there to help and then not reply with solutions. One told me a manager would contact me ASAP to discuss my issues... again I never got any contact from anyone and the messager conversation always came to a dead end there with no further response.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a cover on June **** with the advertised understanding that my cover would be sent in 5-7 business days

I ordered a cover on June *** with the advertised understanding that my cover would be sent in 5-7 business days. I was later sent a tracking number stating *** was waiting for the shipment to arrive. On June *** with the order still not being shipped, I contacted customer service by email and on June *** was told the order was delayed due to COVID. I contacted customer service by phone on June *** and was told I had been given a phony tracking number and would receive a valid tracking number within 48 hours. Finally received another tracking number on June ***, once again stating *** was waiting for the package to be arrive. Made contact on July *** through their Facebook chat asking for an update and was told they would "get back in a few..." Never heard anything. Contacted again through Facebook Chat on July *** with no response. Today, July ***, I waited over thirty minutes for customer service only to be disconnected. Called back and went through Sales and was put on hold mid-sentence. Contacted them through their online customer chat requesting a refund since the tracking number said *** was still waiting on the package. "Alexander" asked for my email address and after I again requested the order be cancelled was told I could not be given a refund because the order had been shipped. I had been sent another tracking number that said *** was waiting to receive the package, so the order had not been sent. Besides, there was no time in my request for the refund for the boat cover to have been sent to ***, After again stating I wanted to cancel the order and wanted my credit card to be refunded, I was told I could return it. Knowing it had not been sent, I again stated for the order to be canceled and given a refund. My chat was closed. I attempted to chat again and no one would respond. To return an item they charge a 20% restocking fee. The order has not been sent, has not shipped, and they are refusing to cancel my order.

I purchased a car cover from this company last month (11/03) for $135 and received the cover on 11/10. The product was defective upon delivery. It had a visible rip/hole in it. Seal Skin Covers Ordered a cover #*** (placed on October **, 5:23:03 PM EDT)

Ordered a cover #*** (placed on October , 5:23:03 PM EDT). This order did not shipinitially and the company reported that I would need to file a request ticket to get the product shipped from the warehouse. After nearly a month and several emails and phone calls (and threats of reports to Complaintsboard.com) the product shipped and arrived at the new year 2019. This cover was applied and utilized as instructed. By July the cover began to shed a light film. This has progressed and it is no longer water proof. I called several times in September, October, and November finding it difficult to reach anyone. I was able to reach someone in Early December who informed me the online warranty request would be necessary. Dec - *** Warranty ticket submission. No contact from company Dec *** - Phone call with *** who an email was sent Tuesday December *** asking for SKU # . That email was never found. I explained to *** that the serial number is the only number I can find. He input that information and informed me I would hear back from a supervisor in 24 hours or Monday at the latest. No contact from company Dec *** - Called the which was not answered for several calls. Spoke Alex evemtually who informed me I wil need to ship the product back to them AND pay $35 to process the warranty. I explained that thus far the company has not provided any response and that I was doing all the work and I was skeptical I would receive a cover based on the previous experience. The purpose of the cover is to protect my automobile during foul weather I would prefer not to leave the car uncovered during the worst weather months of the year. I asked that a cover be sent FIRSTand I will ship the original back immediately. Initially, I was even willing to pay the $35processing fee (which seems high) but given this product has lastest less than 1 year of the 10 year warranty and the company has relied upon me to complete communications I'm not comfortable with this as I don't trust them.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a boat cover for my boat on August **,

I ordered a boat cover for my boat on August ,. The boat cover came in and when I tried to put it on my boat it did not fit. I called Seal Skin that day and explained to them the boat cover was too small and I needed a bigger one. I explained in extreme detail how long and wide my boat was and also explained that the next boat cover needed to be 2 feet longer and 3 feet wider. Two weeks later on August ***, they finally sent me a return label to return the cover after I called them. I sent the cover back that day. Then on September ***, I was told that my new boat cover was on backorder and it would take a 1-2 weeks to come in. Finally on October ***, two months later, they send me a second boat cover. When it arrived, I tried to put it on my boat and to my astonishment it did not fit and I realized that they sent me the same boat cover again. I immediately call Seal Skin and told them what was going on. They said they were sorry and verified that they had sent me the same boat cover again by mistake. I boxed up the boat cover to send it back again. They told me they would send another shipping label by email. I waited for a week and no shipping label was sent. On November ***, I received another email telling me that an exchange process can not go any further. I call Seal Skin on November *** and asked them to consider sending me another boat cover that would fit. I sent them several pictures of my boat with the cover on it to illustrate that it was too short and not wide enough. The representative told me that they would process my request and send my a long and wider boat cover. I said that would be fine. I told them to please send me a return label so I could send the boat cover back and they said they would email it to me that day. After waiting for another 10 day to get this label emailed to me, I call Seal Skin again today, November *** and requested a label be sent. They said they would email it to me in the next 5 minutes. That was 7 hours ago and I still have not received a shipping label. I will be calling them again tomorrow.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a red and black jetski cover 2 months ago (order #***)

I ordered a red and black jetski cover 2 months ago (order #***). About 2 weeks later, I received a yellow and black cover. I contacted the company and, after a lot of back and forth with them, they offered to let me keep the item for 15% off. I refused and had them send me a shipping label instead. I asked them to ship the correct item, with the return shipping label, and I would ship their item back. They refused to do that. I had to ship their item first, before they would ship the correct item. I shipped their item the next day and the received it right away. Now, keep in mind, my initial order was on 05//2020. We are now at 60 days since that time. They have had over a month to reship my order to me. When attempting to call their customer service number, it is nearly impossible to get someone to answer their phone. Their other contact methods are by email ( which never gets a reply) or through their chat service on their website. I have done the chat with them, numerous times. After a lengthy run around, I am promised results and that I should be contacted within 24 - 48 hours with updates. This never happens. Then, they say that their shipping manager assured that the item will be sent out within 24- 48 hours. Nope, still nothing. As of today, while trying to resolve this, I am now being cut off during my chats before I am finished getting this issue resolved. This is from my last chat. *** I belive that I have been more than understanding here. They keep promising results and they never deliver. Their customer service department and their shipping warehouse are a joke and are extremely unprofessional.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered and paid for a car cover on 4/**/2020 and it arrived on 5/*/2020 in a damaged condition and missing promised items

I ordered and paid for a car cover on 4//2020 and it arrived on 5/*/2020 in a damaged condition and missing promised items. I filed a report on on their Company web-site on 5/*/2020. On 5//2020 I called Customer Service to no avail. I then went to the Company Chat Room to ask for help and was told Customer Service was too busy. I heard nothing from the Company until I attempted a 5//2020 call their listed Customer Service number and got no response and then tried their on-line Chat Room where I was told someone would call me before the end of the day. No call was received but at 5:55 PM I received an e-mail asking me for pictures, which were immediately sent. I asked for an acknowledgement of receipt of the photos and none was received. On the morning of 5//2020 I called the customer service number again and held until someone by the name of John answered. I explained why I was calling and he said he was the one who was on Chat with me. I asked why I did not get the promised telephone call and he said "our customer service lines do not allow out going calls." But, he was the one who told me on-chat that a call would be made. I asked him if he got the photos and he said "yes, and the cover was clearly damaged" and that he would send me a return label by e-mail before close of business that day and I would get a full refund. I asked him about the missing items and he said they were out of stock, but were restocked daily. He said they should have been sent to me the next day. BTW - if he was correct, the items have never been received. I asked him when I should expect my refund and he said the same day as the cover is returned the refund will be posted. I have not received the return label promised three days ago despite my follow-up e-mail yesterday. I am very concerned that this Company has not kept its word, not even once, despite their printed return policy stating "With Seal Skin Covers, if you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase no worries we can help." Summary: (1) some of the ordered products were not received, (2) the car cover that was received was damaged, (3) Customer Service did not provide the promised telephone call, (4) no follow-up on e-mail, and (5) no return label sent. Please help, this Company appears to have an culture of deceptive practices.

Seal Skin Covers I ordered a boat cover for $230 and paid $192 extra for express, overnight early morning delivery

I ordered a boat cover for $230 and paid $192 extra for express, overnight early morning delivery. I explicitly paid for express overnight delivery because the sales agent assured me it would be shipped immediately and I would get it in two days. I explained that I needed to cover my boat that was already in the slip. I told him we expected rain, and that I would have to haul out my boat (cost $127) if the cover didn't come on time. He assured me it would come on time, and sent me a shipping tracking number. Sadly, when I checked the tracking number it showed that my cover was shipped to someone else in NJ; I live in Michigan. The "Customer Service" line did not answer, so I went through the sales line at Seal Skin, but they said sorry, that's a customer service problem. It took me 2 days to finally reach customer service, and they said sorry, and gave me a supposedly new tracking number. Unfortunately that number did not work either. By this time, 3 days had passed, I had paid nearly $400 and had NO cover and NO overnight delivery and NO valid tracking number. I told them I would file a consumer fraud lawsuit in Michigan, and they refunded the $192 overnight shipping charge, but not the purchase price. They said the cover was on its way and if I wanted to return it I would need to pay 30% stocking fee! Tragically for us, the rain came earlier than predicted, and flooded my boats interior. We now have to spend $2300 to tear out the carpet and repair the interior damage to upholstery, electronics and floor. I had to pay the marina $126 to haul out my boat so I could dry it out and begin the repairs caused by Seal Skin's fraudulent business practices. Seal Skin finally sent me an email: "We feel terrible about dropping the ball on this order" but giving me no refund of the purchase price, and obviously no cover, and no reimbursement for the damages to my boat. At this point they have refused to refund the purchase price, have refused to reimburse my boat's damages, and I still have no cover (which I cannot use now anyway because of the above). I talked with an attorney and we are drafting a legal complaint in Michigan under the appropriate consumer protection statutes. That will take a lot of effort and money, but this company Seal Skin (real corporate name is Elite Era LLC) must be punished for their behavior.
