Used seagate for 2 projects. A crawlspace and a roof with a skyline. Both projects were completed in a timely fashion. The jobs were priced right and done right. I also used seagate in a previous home for a leaking basement. Couldn't be more pleased with the quality of workmanship they bring to the job and the level of courtesy and professionalism of all their staff and workers.

I've used Seagate for many years for many different services. Recently I needed service after the sale for the first time. They worked until they found that the cause of my leaking roof was actually due to a problem hiding behind the siding and really had nothing to do with the roof they installed a few years ago but they fixed it for me anyway at no charge. Their service after the sale is exceptional. Thank you Seagate.

All of the workers were professional from start to finish. I didn't have to wait long to get an estimate. And when receiving my estimate, it was just about a "cheap" fix, it was about what would be best for our foundation long term, but still affordable. The men who showed up to complete the work were approachable, nice, and professional. The men worked quickly and efficiently. We would definitely use them if again if ever needed.

Our Seagate roofing crew were highly professional, friendly, and conscientious. They did a wonderful job throughout the 4 days they were here. The new roof looks great, but more importantly, it provides us with the secure feeling of having a roof over our heads that keep out the rain and snow and last us another 20+ years. We've used Seagate now for 2 roofs, gutter guard, and basement waterproofing and have been very satisfied each time.

We had a roofing issue from when another company had installed our roof.Owens Corning sent Seagate Roofing out to inspect the roof for the warranty.We had foundation work done by Seagate previously so we were very comfortable knowing they would inspect the roof.Seagate is top notch.They found issues with the roof and did the repairs as needed.The installers were professional and very friendly.They did a great job resolving the roof issues.We will always go to Seagate as needed for future work.Thanks Seagate!

and co-worker did a superb job replacing the damaged shingles around my electrical mast. They also re-anchored the mast back into its original position, replaced roof boards, installed a heavy-duty boot around the mast, and laid new shingles. Their photos taken of this job from start to finish document their excellent workmanship. I especially appreciate the 2-year warranty. BTW, Seagate previously re-shingled my entire roof, installed roof ridge vents and ice *** membrane with the same high-quality work.

I have used Seagate for my roof. I have a mansared roof and it was hard to waterproof. I had used a less expensive company and it still leaked. Seagate came back until it was perfect. I had have had no issues for several years. I was so pleased with their staff and work that I recently had them waterproof my basement. I did not call around for quotes. I knew I wanted them to do the work. I was not disappointed! The staff that did the foundation work and the finishing work were all as nice and professional as the roofing team was.

I've used Seagate on (2) of my rental properties and will do so in the future. They were quick to get out to the property to generate a quote, get that quote to me and when I gave them the go ahead their office was very informative relative to project schedule. Then after completion, again informative relative to follow-up paper work. One of my projects consisted of 3 parts, roof, eve repair and gutters, each portion of the project I was informed of when they were scheduled. BTW, 2 of my siblings have used them for foundation work and were very pleased as well. I have, and will recommend and use them again.

I hired them in 2020 to do some foundation work, where I had a crack with water leaking through after rains. They came with a good recommendation from my neighbor. They fixed the crack problem in the wall, sealed this wall on the inside with epoxy and the outside with hydraulic cement foam insulation, tested the drain tile where they were digging, ensuring it could run water through without blockage, backfilled with stones, and built a replacement stoop after having had to remove an existing stoop above their excavation location. In my opinion they were totally professional, experienced, and competent - inspecting, estimating, and doing the work. I would definitely hire Seagate again, should the need arise.

I wouldn't recommend this company based on the LACK of professionalism of the crew and owner. Both their delivery company and crew leader damaged my property and was not repaired. The crew broke out into a fight in my driveway. The owner spoke very angrily to me when I reported their was a leak that needed to be looked at after the job was "done". The job consisted of new roof and gutters, started 5/6 it took 11 days as they didn't come some days due to minimal chance of rain, 2 crewmen for 2 hours one day that was nice. The amount of nails I picked up from driveway, as recently as 6/23, and landscape. The crew smoked excessively and left cigarette butts in my driveway and landscape. They never went back over the end cap nails with tar. I could have gotten the same product from several other companies. Very disappointed in this company.

My house had substantial woodpecker damage to the siding, corner boards and chimney enclosure, not all of it knowable until work was started and the area opened up, and for that I was as advised of the possibility of additional charges. But there were none, except for $100 I paid to a licensed electrician, called in to safely disconnect power to an old exterior heat pump unit no longer in service. The quoted price paid to SeaGate seemed reasonable for the work and materials involved. The work crew were capable, well led, and left the job site cleaned up and in good order. The contract document should have had a better description of the scope of the work, based on what could be seen before it started - which turned out not to be a problem. A more substantial complaint was SeaGate's failure to keep in touch with me over the unexpectedly long period of time after contract signing with a substantial deposit, before the work started. I now understand and accept the reasons for this. But I should not have been left to wonder whether the work would be done, as it was, by the onset of winter. SeaGate has done work for me previously, and I would use them again.

I had high hopes when hiring Seagate for my foundation repair. Upon the start of the job on 5/18 I realized there was some serious miscommunication between *** who sold the job, and Wes who was installing the job. There was very different ideas of how the job was to be done and the two of them and they consistently complained about each other to me. Expecting me to have a very large tree removed immediately when it wasn't put in the quote (*** said the job could be done with the tree, Wes said it was impossible. Like a parent with arguing children, I had to inform them that none of that is my problem and they should be the ones to figure it out.) Another day started by calling in the morning to tell me I would need to have the drain snaked, only to find out at the end of the day they had installed a sump pump and added it to the bill without confirming with me. The job was projected to finish within a few weeks, but the final hole in my foundation wasn't patched until 7/21(2 months after start date).
I called to ask about a bill and several weeks later received a voicemail and text demanding payment for said bill that I never received. When I asked them to clarify the additional money on the bill that I only received a photo of thru text, both *** and the owner of the company Tom Elder said they don't give detailed descriptions of what's on the bill. When I explained that it is standard practice to explain why there were additional charges beyond the quote they just demanded I pay the bill.
Talking to the owner, I realized quickly that he wasn't interested in the truth of what chaos his crew caused for me in my home for over 2 months. Even with documentation, photos and text proof I attempted to show him he could only say "my guys are telling me a different story."
I own a business and could never imagine speaking to or treating a client as poorly as the owner Tom Elder did.
Overall extremely dissatisfied. Not only with the unprofessional staff and owner that I had to deal with, the fact that they didn't put my fence back up, didn't put my grounding wire back, dinged up my aluminum siding and tore up my entire yard.

ll on my home with damage to my roof and siding and knocking the chimney down to the ground. I live 4.5 hours from Toledo and since I was not going to be able to be onsite for contractor selection directly, I relied on recommendations from various resources, looked into reviews for each, and communicated often with my father who acted as my eyes and ears while I was away. Dad also provided extra insight as he was in the construction trade for 50 years so could talk-the-talk and walk-the-walk. Of course, his is my most trustworthy recommendation and I value his opinions and guidance, especially with this unexpected and unfortunate circumstance.

We chose Seagate based upon this information. I was looking at a whole new roof, chimney rebuild, new siding, window cladding, awnings, and shutters. Things moved along and, given the coordination efforts that need to be made with various subcontractors and weather conditions, delays were understandable...after all, mine was not the only job they are all working on.

Throughout the five-month project, there was a period of time when it seemed communication stalled and work came to a halt, neither my father nor I had been provided a status of the job. It wasn't until I reached out to the project manager to get an update. After a few phone calls on both sides, we were able to get back on the same page. The stall wasn't related to the major work like the roofing, siding, or chimney, it was more that there were manufacturing and delivery delays that I wasn't aware of for the awnings (& wouldn't be since I wasn't directly involved with that behind-the-scenes responsibility) and there were a few smaller items still to be fixed. This is not meant to demean the work done overall, but more of a suggestion to inform the customer when such instances occur simply in order to let them know they are not forgotten.

From that point forward, communication greatly improved between the project manager, Dad, and me. I was given the project managers cell phone number for direct access. When the awnings came in, they were the wrong color scheme. Yes, I was disappointed; however, mistakes happen and I was reassured that I would get what I selected. The correct awnings were received in a timely manner and all was back to expectations. The remaining items were finished within a few days as well, making the job complete.

While there may have been a few bumps along the way, they were promptly remedied which restored my faith in the company and I would choose them again for exterior work. Incidentally, when it came time to sign-off the job and the final invoice was received, there was a discrepancy in the total amount from them as compared to my insurance company's final numbers for payment. The project manager and office staff promptly resolved the issue after communicating directly with my agent and final sign-off and payment was recently taken care of.

Thanks to Seagate Roofing and Foundation and their subcontractors, my home now has a brand new exterior which I am extremely grateful for, and proud of, due all of their work.

I hired Seagate Roofing in March to put a new roof on my house. They said it would be good for 10 years, but it's been leaking like crazy ever since. The kitchen ceiling is all messed up and water gets on the floor and walls when it rains. I told Seagate about it before the warranty ran out, but they didn't do anything. They even tried to charge me for stuff they didn't even do. Plus, they put my vents on backwards. Not cool.

Roofing job done on 6/18. They said the soil stack was missing before they started and I need to hire a plumber to fix it. I showed them a pic proving it was there and hired an inspector to check for other issues (see attached). They lied and said they took pics before the job and now knew it was there. They said they would pay for a plumber and fix the wood siding. They came out to fix gutter guards, siding, and seal nails. Now there's paint on shingles and damage to drip edge on front. Not pretty. Plumber said pipe is broken and they need to cut through drywall to fix. Owner said he won't pay for plumber and they need to check the pipe themselves. They aren't plumbers and said they'd pay for repair in writing.

I got Seagate Roofing to fix my basement walls. While they were doing it, I saw two Seagate workers (*** and ***) hitting my fancy brick wall with 4'x4' wood blocks. I saw bricks coming off the mortar while they were doing it. After the basement job was done, I saw that the fancy wall was messed up. The basement job was done, and the plumber sub-contractor finished his job. The last thing was the brick mason (***) who was supposed to finish the inside work and fix the fancy brick wall. The brick wall has not been fixed to my wife's liking as Seagate promised me over the phone. The whole job started in June and ended two weeks later in July with the brick mason being the last person to leave the job site. The fancy wall has not been fixed to our liking. (the phone number is not right because I don't want any calls before noon.)
