Scribd Monthly Charge

Scribd has been deducting 9.99 every month from my checking account. I tried to locate my account but can't seem to find any account that has any membership. I tried using all my emails to see if any had some sort of subscription. No emails are associated with it. This is [censored]. How do I cancel this?

Scribd Charge without permission.

Hi scribd... I was so disappointed for charging me over and over... And over a year your charging me without my permission. Now, I thank god that I found out how to contact you. Please do me a favor. Stop charging me. And do me a refund. I'd a touched my receipt as a proof that until now you are deducting me with out my awareness. And without my authorization... Please do an action on it.. Scribd Scribd unauthorized monthly charge

I did my account on Scribd this year and then I cancelled the subscription but then I was getting charged monthly by this website, which I've cancelled many times before but it just kept charging me, I don't know how to delete the account and I'd like a full refund too for the 3 months I've been getting charged without my consent. I'm registered to the website with my email, [protected]@gmail.com, my username is pau5a.c.

Scribd Unauthorized membership

I don't ever recall creating a membership with Scribd and giving them my card information, but they've been repeatedly month after month charging my card. A few months back I even swapped my card to prevent this from happening and disputed the charges through my bank. fast forward to today and I go online to check my bank statements and see that they are still able to charge my old card despite it being cancelled. WTF! Are you kidding me. This must be illegal to be charging cards like this. Remove my information.

Desired outcome: Remove my card information and ban me forever from utilizing any of your services in the future. Just remove my card information.

Scribd Unauthorized credit card charges

I have tried unsubscribing from Scribd after finding out that they were charging my card when I wasn't using the service. I have been charged for half a year of usage that I wasn't aware of. I tried again for the past few days to unsubscribe on the website but when I log in again, it says I have to cancel my subscription again. I have been charged almost $100 for a service that I wasn't using. I don't want a credit, since I'm not using the service at all. I'd just like my money back.

Scribd Overcharge

I have found out that I have been over charged since February 2019, and the website itself stated that my membership has finisgeds in June 2016. I need to get this issue sorted.
I have already tried to complain over the email, with no success.
please get in touch with me otherwise I will take other measures to get this refund.

Scribd Unauthorized Monthly Subscription Payments

i have only noticed recently that my account has been charged for monthly fees of Scribd's subscription. I haven't even used their services and I only inputted my debit card for the purposes of a free trial. I have been charged approximately 500 Pesos or around 8$ per month and I want a complete refund for all of those payments. I did not even avail of their SERVICES for a single time in any of the past months or year. Please help me get my money back.

Scribd Unauthorized credit card charges.

I canceled my account 4 months ago, but you keep billing me. The CitiBank says all I can do is get a new card.So I canceled my credit card and got a new one and you billed the new one! When I look at my account it shows no reading history, and no credit card on file but you keep billing me. I want a refund for the last four months by check, since now I have to cancel my new card and get another one and there is no way I'm giving you my new credit card number.

I have a connected account and yet every time I sign in I am presented again and again... I have been notified that my account was compromised by this company. I have never had an account, applied for an account nor do I know anything about this company or its services. It's pretty frustrating when a company misuses its authority and prey on the public for its own financial gain. Scribd Billing 8.99 monthly

Today, April 25th, 2021, I looked at my visa bill and noticed a payment I didn't recognize. A $8.99 USD charge from "Scribd Inc [protected] CA" .

I went through my billing statements, and I have been billed monthly starting July 24th 2020 . This adds up to more than 80 EUR .
I never subscribed to this service. I checked all my regular email addresses and I have never received any mail from them. Before today I had never even heard of Scribd.

Scribd Overcharged

I created a free trial account
Canceled the account
Have still been getting charged for the account for months even though I have not touched it since the free trial was done.

I have been charged for 3 months of which I didn't use at all.
I was charged on 2/21/21, 3/21/21, and 4/21/21 all of which I thought I wasn't being charged for at the time. The website has you click through a bunch of stuff before it is actually canceled. I thought I had gotten through all of the clicks but apparently not.

Desired outcome: refund me all of my money please

Scribd Scribd — unauthorized credit card charges

I have been receiving recurring charges on my credit card even though I had only signed up for a free trial. I have tried to cancel these charges at least twice and they continue to show up in my account. I have been unable to get through with your customer service. Scribd Scibd payments taken from account for three years without a direct debit and without realising I was signed up

Hello

I have only just noticed that I have been paying a monthly amount of 6.53 GBP, is this since January 2018?

But I didn't know I was signed up to Scriber and I have never used it since the first time

I request a refund because I did not know I was subscribed and I have never used the service. It was taken from a bank account (Halifax) that I never log in to, by DEB, but I don't have a direct debit set up for it, and I have no idea how to cancel.

To add...I found my history, and it tells me that I read 4 documents ever, everything else was 0. Zero books, Zero audiobooks, zero snapshots, zero articles and zero songs. Only 4 documents, which must have been the only time I went on your website in December 2017!
No knowledge I was signed up and no service used.

I am being charged every TWO weeks for this acct! After an initial charge of 42.00 approx. In Jan 2021. I have complained three times and no one ever gets back to me other than an automated message. I'm thoroughly disgusted with the poor customer service. If I don't resolution now I'm going to cancel the entire account and notify my credit card to discontinue all payments to this company

Scribd Android app login error

When I use the "continue with google account" option to login on the android app, I get a box that says "you have been logged out, please sign in to continue." I have the latest updated version of the app. My support ticket numbers (for the same issue) are: 3269781 and 3233510. I tried clearing the data/cache for the app from my phone but that didn't work either. Interestingly I've had no issues with the "sign in with email" option, so I made an account with a different email address. My free trial expires on 4/18 so I really need to cancel it before I get charged.

Desired outcome: I want to cancel my free trial on my google account, delete that account, and just use the account I made for the "sign in with email" option.

Scribd Failed to cancel my subscription

Dear Sir or Madam,

I recently noticed my Scribd subscription was not cancelled and Scribd has been charging me for a year despite sending me an email confirmation that my account was closed.
(See pics attached as proof)

Please stop charging me for your service as I do not wish to be a customer of Scribd (confirmed by yourselves over 1 year ago)

Can you please resolve this matter in 10 days from receipt of this message to avoid legal action.
Please refund my money to my account within 10 days.

This is not an isolated incident as I seem to be among over 170 other ex customers with the same complaint on this site alone!
