Scandinavian Airlines System [SAS]
have been trying to work with your online chat people for the last 3 hours and I am constantly told they cannot refund the full price of my ticket or rebook my ticket for the online cost.
Yesterday I tried the chat and was told I was 88th in line, when I finally got down to 10, I was disconnected and told I was inactive. This was after 90 mins of waiting.
Today I started a chat (transcript attached) at 10:07 am EST trying to resolve this issue.
Issue is that the flight was rebooked due to a schedule change but was booked for May 26, 2026 not May 27 2026. So I rebooked it at no charge to the 6am flight on May 27 as the 11 am flight was not available, when I went to look to see if the 11 am flight was available it was so I was very confused why it wasn't previously. We would really like the 11 am flight so we do not have to get up super early, so I tried to rebook it online 3 times on Feb 28 with no luck as I constantly got errors. Copies of those system errors are attached as well. I also tried once again today and once yesterday.
When I finally got through to customer service, they are telling me that I have to pay $435.60 from the first agent when online the price was $375.90. I do not understand why I would be charged more to have the agents do it when the SAS system is what is erroring out and not allowing me to make the change.
At this point I have spent 4.5 hours trying to resolve this and your agents keep disconnecting me. All I am trying to do is get my flight back to the 11 am flight on May 27. I am willing to pay the $375.90 for the premium as per the screenshots.
I would really like assistance in trying to get this resolved as this is 4.5 hours of pure frustration that I cannot get back. I appreciate your assistance to this matter. If I was able to make these changes online, none of this would even be of a concern.
