Samsung - warranty claim

I have a $3000 Samsung 801L French Door fridge and when it reached 8 mths old (back in Nov 2014) it would not get any colder than approx. 9-10 deg C. Samsung was contacted and finally after sending 3 technicians out it was decided that it was repairable and Samsung was notified in December 2014. We were told that Samsung will get in contact with us to arrange a replacement or refund but being a week before Christmas and because it took 3 weeks to get a technician that knew what he was doing we were told that it will be in the new year, so we struggled though a very difficult festive season with a lot of food going off quickly! We are now in February 2015 and after dozen and dozens of calls and emails and even though Samsung have had the necessary signed documents (more that 12 times) to process the refund (which I am entitled to as it is a major fault), I still have not received my refund. I have ben allocated numerous case managers and passed around from one person to the next all promising to sort this be still nothing! I am at a loss and absolutely appalled at how a company like Samsung would treat a customer so badly when they have sold a product that does not do what it is supposed to do, which is keep food cold!

Samsung - bad customer service

‪#‎samsung‬ egypt presents the worst customer and maintenance services ever.. I called them on jan 24 asking for setting up my new tv and uptil today feb. 2, I haven't got the service. Over those 10 days, I called them more than 20 times and always receive the same idiot lying message" tomorrow someone from the maintenance will call you to arrange for visit" they kept lying and lying.. Giving untrue promises and nothing happens. I am fed up and feel furious.. Yesterday I spent about an hour complaining and shouting to the so - called ahmed from the complaints department and he assured me that tomorrow every thing will be settled and to my shock nobody came today.. I just couldn't believe it.. It is like a might mare.. I am talking to big liars and inefficient staff in the customer service and the maintenance section.. To conclude using some fgures: 1) I made more than 20 calls over the past 10 days.
2) some of those calls lasted between 20 - 40 minutes.
3) I was put on hold listening to music and ads about hundred time
4) I spoke with more than 10 persons who I still remember their names including ahmed and samar form complain department
5) I was given about 20 promises to call me back after checking the complaint with the maintenance but all unfulfilled except once today when samar called me back.
6) the most surprising thing is that I am supposed to pay 150le for this service.. It is not a free service (Can you imagine)
7) I got terrible headache 3 times after I called them.

I am so sorry for inconvenience but I wanted global samsung to know that there is something wrong here to interfere and rescue their reputation.
Please help share this to inform smsung top management about theit service

Samsung - poor servicing

I was given following complaints no for a single complaint. Everyday customer care give a new complaint no and complaint remains unattended

I am calling and sending complaint to the samsung customer service almost everyday. Problem is that this samsung customer service is a just a call center. They have just a messaging system. No real link to service department. I asked for customer manager's telephone number for customer's grievance. They have same answer every time that they do not have it. Every time they have a similar answer that they would pass on the message.

My advice all the customer's not to buy any samsung product ever at least in india. There is virtual customer care support.

Samsung - damage panel

Brought samsung led 39eh5003r on 26 apr. , 2013. During sep. , 2014 the panel get damaged, called call centre and complained filled. Technician visited after review asked it may be any cause for damage, need to send factory for check on owners cost, where as replacement value provided is morethan the cost of television, as the warranty period was provided for only one year, from the date of purchase. No idea, how a television working in good condition, soon after the expiry of warranty. The set is lying at my house as wall hanging. Pictures, attached

Samsung - warranty

The chip that charges the phone came out with the charger. The samsung service department in boksburg does not want to fix this under warranty, saying it will be logged under physical damage. How can it be physical damage if the phone is charged with the charger supplied by samsung and the part pulled out. This can only be because inferior parts was used and I do not see why I have to pay for a part less than 1 year old, this should be covered under the warranty. I have escalated this with the customer care division and have had no feedback.In the interim I have to pay for a phone on contract that I cant even use.

Samsung - faulty devices

Good day, my name is paul goldschagg, i have purchased samsung products exclusively for the last 15 years. However, the last 2 purchases that i have purchased was terrible, the samsung s4 galaxy smartphone had a virus or malware and the company did not want to replace or fix it because i payed cash and it was 'my own problem', thus i bought n new samsung s4 and 3 weeks later the ear speaker is not working, once again i could not be assisted because the company where i bought the phone refused to repair or replace my phone. This is the last time ever i buy any sumsung products. And i would like an explanation as to why samsung phones is not allowed to be replaced or repaired!

Samsung - galaxy grand 2

Kindly advice as I have a problem for more than 3 months with my samsung mobile.

My mobile is galaxy grand 2 and after updating it''s software from android jelly bean 4.3 to android kitkat 4.4.2 but some defects appeared after the update.

The device has the following errors:
- it restarts frequently.
- it suddenly stops working and needs to be restarted to work again.
- the durability of the battery became lower than before the update.
- the camera doesn't work and an error message appears (Failed to initialize) or (camera has stopped).
- it takes long time to recharge the battery.

And I went to the customer service 3 times and every time they return it to me without any change (just reinstall kitkat software).

* I just want to downgrade my device software to jelly bean 4.3 or exchange the device.

# your response will be appreciated as the problem may affect the image of samsung and I will travel to another country after 5 days from now.

Samsung - dishwasher

Bought a sumsung dishwasher that worked great for 17 days. Now turns on for 5 mins then stops and lights flash on front. Called Samsung, they scheduled a phone eval. Waited at home, no call. Again the next day- a phone eval. This one did call but did not even ask about my problem. Said since it was less than 30 days old I WOULD HAVE TO PAY to have the installer come back and make sure it was installed correctly. It worked for 17 days, it IS installed correctly. They will not let me speak to a supervisor or schedule a tech. They have a free parts and labor for one year claim...but that does not help if they will not schedule their tech!

Samsung appliances have, by far, the highest number of complaints on this and other boards. Avoid Samsung. Their stuff is junk. Google it. You can see for yourself.

Samsung - customer service

I have been a tracfone customer for years. Calling customer service is never a joy (Language differences) but this christmas has been especially painful.
Christmas eve I got an android phone with a 400 built in minutes from hsn. I tried to move my number from a non android phone and couldn't so I called customer service. I was told by glenn (Who do you think you're fooling with these names?) what my problem was and he said you couldn't keep the same phone number but he would manually transfer my minutes (At that time over 400) and my days 790+. He said if I hung up it would automatically be fixed. It wasn't. All that happened is that neither phone worked. Great

I didn't want to call you back on christmas day so I started about noon today from my mothers house. You see, I am on a fixed income and I don't have the minutes to spare. I called, stayed on the phone with "leon" for over an hour when he gave me to his supervisor "ann". She told me I couldn't move my contacts (I did with bluetooth) but she would move my minutes/days since they were still on my old phone. I asked if I could keep the same phone number and she was working on it. Next thing I know my phone goes dead. 77 minutes for nothing. I called back, told the girl what happened. She said she could transfer me but instead put me in the que I was in initially so I got to wait another 20 minutes for a call back. I got to speak with another girl who said she knew leon and would transfer me then hung up on me. I give up. I now have a phone with a new phone number (Because I finally used some notes * found and activated my phone. I spent 2 hours and talked to 5 people and got absolutely nothing accomplished. My old phone number was 256-702-2623. My new number is 256-263-2388. If there is and english speaking technician, I would love it if someone would get my old minutes and days added to my phone. I would also like my old number back.

I wish you cared more for your customers. This has been a nightmare.

Samsung - wrong tv carrier offer

I bought tv samsung 32 inch led and they offered free tv carriage. And I asked them to attend at house in order to install the tv with the new carrier. Upon. The technician he did not know how to fix, also the offered carriage not comply with the tv, he flitted the carriage with new long bolt, which is not under our satisfactory, he say if you need to fix the new carriage and you have to pay for it, then I refused, because it is faultless offer. And mean they are cheating withe in sale department, also the way how to deal with the custom are not satisfactory.

Samsung - samsung refrigerator factory fault

My Samsung refrigerator started smelling really bad. After cleaning it twice it was still smelling rotton. We turned the refrigerator over. Rotten flued was trapped at the bottom. I have tried for three days to resolve this problem. After the "technician" was here they said that the defrosting unit is no working they will replace that. I told the agent that that is not going to solve the problem. He just said sorry that is what they are going to do and we have to pay R650. I told him that the rotton part is still at the bottom and it is still going to stink and it is a health risk. He then tells me that they can't replace that part. My point exactly - it is a factory fault. How am I the user supposed to clean it if they can't even replace it. Technician:" I have never seen anything like this". We had to help him turn over the fridge.. It is unhiegenic and we can't use the refrigerator. The Csll Centre Supervisor refused to give me a name of a manager or to get a manager to contact me. I have the proof of the conversations with the call centre agent.

Samsung - false advertising

I purchased this Samsung TV - UN32EH4003FXZA on 10/22/2013 at my local best buy. The products was advertised that it contained a digital output- the manual stated that it did, the setup guide stated it, as did the box. Unfortunately, I did not have an optical out device so I did not check. I purchased this tv with intents on adding audio to it at some point. I purchased the new audio device and noticed that this TV does not have a digital output as advertised. I checked Samsung's website and it still says that the tv has a digital audio output. I called Samsung to discuss this with them and they informed me that because it was out of warranty (by nearly 60 days), they cannot do anything for me. The supervisor told me that since the website contains this: "Features and specifications are subject to change without prior notification" that they are not responsible. I am speechless that a company would sell a product which was incorrectly advertised containing features it did not, and they won't do anything to resolve it.

Samsung - have not received it!

On the 8th of december 2014 I bought a samsung lithium camera battery bp85a.

On the 11th december I emailed the company saying I had heard nothing and asked them what they were doing and why I hadn't even had a letter of confirmation!

On the 12th december I went to my bank who told me a firm called cross oceans had debited my account on the 10th of december.

Who are these people and what can be done surely they are very crooked? How can these people be allowed to go unchecked and stealing openly from us? I paid with paypal as far as I know.

Samsung - worst customer service

Samsung has the Worst Delivery Service I Ever seen !
I have placed an order (Order# 9658828136) for a Samsung 55' TV on 11/23/2014 from Louisville, KY, USA. I am writing this on 12/12/2014 and the order still not delivered. They use the worst Shipping company (AGS). I dont understand why samsung is taking around 1 month to deliver a product which other retailers (walmart, best buy, target etc. ) can deliver within 2-3 days. my neighbor bought the same TV from walmart on 11/28 and it was delivered on 11/30.
Samsung - please respond what takes you 1 month to deliver the same product? and how you will compensate this delay in delivery to the consumer. Also when i call up to their customer service phone number to check the order status (855-726-8721) - they never pick up the phone. It goes on ringing for 3 times and then the call drop off. So apparently i don't have any status from them on the order for around a month.
Never going to buy anything from Samsung.com

I had a problem - The person I was calling, could hear his own voice (echo) so, Samsung Store (Vancouver) send my phone for the repairs in Toronto, later appeared another problem – the phone could not recognise any sim card. Then they send it again to Toronto. After I received, în a few days Echo problem returned back so they send it again to Toronto to fix. In total my phone was sent 4 times to Toronto for repairs – every time leaving me with no phone for weeks and a lot of waste of time and so much stress.

Guys believe me I have spend so, so many hours for the past 9 months over the phone, live chatting on computer and emails with their customer service telling me : “This issue was escalated in top priority and discussed with higher management” Everybody knew me already in their offices I guess. By the end I was speaking over the phone with the general manager of the upper department, you know what he said- I can hear this disturbing noise of the echo, but I can not do anything as our policy is to do what our computer test are giving, our computer test declared your phone is working good as per manufacturer’s specifications, so please use your phone as it is…
Can you imagine that?

I have learned one thing- nowadays all the phone are practical identical, our human eye hardly will see the difference- photos/speed etc. What you are really buying is the company you will deal with later. What you will do if your phone got broke? Samsung has the WORST customer service from them all, you can find tons of people like me on the net, Samsung will replace 99% of your phone hardware but will never replace you with a new phone.

Usually I am not writing reviews, but this case got me supermad, I have spend about 1400$ for the phone and wirelescharger and I keep it in my drawer now. I was huge fan of the Samsung, as I have many appliances în my house from Samsung, but this phone was the last one for sure. I remained loyal even after they were blowing batteries în people's hands with the Note 7 and I believed in them and I bought this S8+, but I regret so much.
Do not make my mistake. There are so many good phones like Iphone, Google Phone etc. with a great customer service- just ask your friends.

Samsung - international warranty poor service

Buying imported #Samsung products at #Lazada is the worst experience ever!

Last July, i bought a Samsung Galaxy tab S 8.4 at Lazada. Since it was my first time to purchase an expensive item at Lazada, i made sure that if the item was defective and all, i could return it to them and they would refund or replace provided that it is not beyond the 30day return policy. So yes, i gambled on it. I felt i had a good deal. It took me 10 days to receive the item because they had to purchase it in Hong Kong. When i received the package, it was perfect! It was a really nice product. It was lightweight and very slim. It had nice display and everything. I loved it so much that i purchased a cover and a screen protector immediately to keep it nice and scratch free. I really enjoyed that tablet until one fine day, the screen suddenly turned green! I was so scared because it was already two months++ after the 30day return period! So i called Lazada to ask about it and they told me to bring the tablet to the nearest Samsung store to have it checked. And since we don't have a store here, i browsed thru Samsung's site and read about the warranty. I even called their toll free number. They said that they won't honor the warranty because i bought it online. They can repair it, but it would cost about 15, 000! Imagine that! It's like buying a new tablet! So i tried to contact Samsung hong Kong because the tablet sent was from there and they told me that if it was indeed from them, they will have it repaired or even replaced. So okay, i called Lazada that i will be sending back the tablet. I sent the tablet on October 9 thru LBC. They emailed that they received the package and that they will check the damage. They told me that the process would take about a week. So i patiently waited. After a week, they told me that the item was really defective and since it is still under warranty, they will send it back to Samsung for repair. However, the process would take 3-4 weeks. Since i cannot do anything about it, i waited for 3weeks before i started to follow up on the status of my item. I remember sending them a lot of emails but they all have the same reply: we will check maam. So i thought maybe it's because the seller in HK won't update them also. I asked Lazada to call me so i can have an update. The CSA said the same thing! We will check! December 9, two months after i sent the tablet, Lazada sent an email telling me they have received the product for repair and i was like 😨?!?! Then yesterday, they sent an email telling me that Samsung will not honor the warranty since it was not purchased here in the Philippines! So i waited for 2months only to find out that they didn't send my tablet to Hong Kong for warranty! So stupid diba?! So i really don't know what to do now. had the same experience. AFter all the follow-ups telling me they are already shipping to me my order since they sent a wrong one, they would suddenly answer you that "we have just verified today that it is a wrong item. we thought it was just defective." not honest.

Samsung - refrigerator does not work after 10 days of usage. one month and nothing has been done by samsung.

I am from Brazil, but I don’t know what else I can do here to get my problem solved here. Hope you can help me from there.
I bought a refrigerator from Samsung, model RFG28MESL, the most expensive Samsung refrigerator here in Brazil, that was delivered to my new house on 10/8/2014.
I moved in on 11/3 and started using the refrigerator since this day.
What was supposed to be a dream coming true moving to my new house became a nightmare. All thanks to Samsung.
After 10 days using the refrigerator, it stopped working and I lost everything I had inside. I arrived home and everything was warm inside the fridge and the smell was really bad as you can imagine.
After that, I have been trying for a month to get my refrigerator exchanged for a new one as it stopped working after 10 days of usage.
To make a long (very long) story short, I had to wait 4 times at home for a Samsung customer support representative that never showed up, I had to call at least 15 times to Samsung and was always told to wait, I had to open more than 10 service orders at customer support for nothing, I had to send at least 15 messages on Facebook and always get the same answer: “wait for our reply as we are studying the case”.
I really don’t understand what is going on. Why is Samsung treating me like that? Why is Samsung refusing to exchange their most expensive refrigerator for a customer that after 10 days of usage has a refrigerator that does not work, makes a lot of noise and keep everything inside warm?
Can you imagine what is nowadays to live a month without a refrigerator at home with two small babies?
Can you imagine what it is to order delivery food every day because you cannot have anything to cook at home?
Can you imagine what it is to feed your babies with canned baby food for a month?
As I said, this first month at the new house has been a nightmare thanks to Samsung.
I really hope you can help me from there, because here in Brazil Samsung seems to not care about this. As they say, “just wait while we see what we can do”.
I can’t wait anymore! Not after a month waiting…
