Ruth's Chris Steak House Being charged a cancellation fee and turned away from service because of attire

I currently am visiting Las Vegas for a friend funeral the last time we visited Ruth Chris steakhouse we was with this friend who passed so we had set up a date for evening of March 23 at 8:45 when we looked on the website it said casual clothing when we arrive for reservations we were turned away because of my shirt that wasn't listed on website i couldn't wear I was told to go to gift shop get shirt to cover up I also was denied to cancel my reservation at door I try to contact this restaurant via telephone where noone respond or answer there phone service I am currently travel from Boston we where highly disappointed and might not ever consider returning to Chris Ruth if this is not resolved email is [protected]@gmail.com my phone [protected] thank you

Ruth's Chris Steak House Our food was horrible . This was the worst experience we ever had at one of y’all’s steak houses

Our order was wrong when it came out!There was blood in our steaks! The fries were also burned and looked as if they had been sitting out for awhile! This was our first dinner date since the COVID wasn’t as bad. We gave the w waitress a $25 tip. We also tip the valet. Altogether we spent over $200 at this restaurant. We had been there before and the service was awesome. But this time it was very very very horrible. We complain the first time about the blood in the steaks. And this is how they bought our steaks back so we just packed our stuff up and left. We have never had an experience this bad at any of the state Ruth Chris Steak house that we went to. Ruth's Chris Steak House Carry out orders

Tonight we ordered a carry out order from Ruth Chris Kennesaw location. After picking up the order, it was found to have a notice to carefully check the contents to determine if it was complete. The pickup spot had ONE carry out order. The location is dimly light, and busy with seating customers. How to verify the order is a mystery.

The food was Cold when I was scheduled to pick it up, which could be reheated at the hotel, but TWO(2) orders of cornbread were missing. Based in the notice, this appears to be a chronic problem. Food quality was excellent, but incomplete. Surely ONE order should be easy to fulfill?

Ruth's Chris Steak House My experience at Ruth’s Chris on Valentine’s day, 02/14/22

Hello to whom ever this may concern,

My fiancé and I attended the Ruth Chris located at 4100 Monumental Corner Drive in Fairfax, Virginia for dinner tonight. (Valentine’s day) On top of taking a while to get greeted we had a terrible experience. I ordered a virgin mojito which took over 25 mins.. (Also had to ask constantly for bread to be brought out.) On top of that our appetizer took about the same time. After almost finished eating over half our appetizer the server came back around to ask how things were tasting.. “Was very obvious he was super busy.” He was so busy that he ended up swiping the tables card behind us on the wrong check.. the general manager came over to address them but the conversation was so loud we heard it all. On top of that we were told our food would take over 25 mins because we got the “Stuffed Chicken” but our food took way over 35 mins and mine still came out undercooked. My chicken had bits and pieces of red all inside and I couldn’t bare to eat it so I told the server about it (after having to flag him down).. The server then took the plate apologized about it and said he would speak to his manager about it.. my same plate came out way before the manager did about 15 mins later. It was the exact same piece of chicken I just cut up in pieces.. I was extremely disappointed. The manager apologized about the meal and told me he would take it off and walked away.. Never offered another meal let alone even told us his name. I was extremely unsatisfied and I’ve spent 100s of dollars here before. Server did try to give me a dessert after everything was said and done but I was completely sick to my stomach. I am left with a bad taste in my mouth about Ruth’s Chris and it is one of my favorite restaurants. Please respond if possible. Thank you for your time.

Ruth's Chris Steak House Seattle location Ruth’s Chris

My husband and I made a reservation 2/11/2022 @ 6pm three weeks in advance. We booked an Airbnb right by it too, excited to celebrated Valentine’s Day weekend together w/o our three kids. Ruth’s Chris is our favorite restaurant and we had not been in over 10 years. We picked up $200 in gift cards and we’re excited to splurge on ourselves. I called several days before to confirm our reservation but also to double check we would be able to order for pick up if for any reason our young puppy couldn’t settle down at the Airbnb. I was told four separate times this was 100% possible. We arrive at our Airbnb and call the restaurant, once again having it confirmed we could order in if we needed too. So we started doing our research, looking through all the delicious food to see what we wanted to order. we called back in to make our order and we were told they were not doing orders to go. Of course we were in shock because we had a reservation originally and had it confirmed we were able to switch gears if something came up. My husband called back and asked for the manager, who just said “we are not doing to go orders, Nothing we can do” and hung up. We are so incredibly disappointed in the customer service in this situation. We traveled over an hour, spent over $200 in gift cards, $400 for an Airbnb to be as close as possible to the restaurant so we could walk and make it a romantic night and all of it was ruined. Of course they were very little restaurants open in the area so we end up ordering red Robin which was a huge disappointment on what was supposed to be a special night, also considering we had a red Robin five minutes from our house back on the south end. We are asking for a gift card at least for the inconvenience. we now have to travel back in to Seattle to utilize the gift cards we got originally, we won’t get to do it as an romantic date night and will have the extra expense of having our children with us next time too. we feel it’s the least the company could do. We do feel that if we were told 4 to 5 separate times that it’s allowed, management should’ve been accommodating because of a misunderstanding amongst the employees, not make us feel like we don’t matter. Then to add salt to the wound, I woke up at 7 o’clock in the morning to iMessage saying that your company was doing valentines orders to go and call in which was super frustrating after the night we had. Hope somebody cares at corporate

Letter to Mauricio the manager 3 days ago. No Response:

"Hello Mauricio;

We frequent your restaurant most of the time when at Northpoint Mall, and other Ruth Chris when we are not. For the most part, our experience has been good.

Tonight , during a financial seminar we were seriously disappointed. We were not offered a soft drink , and our water glasses never refilled. We felt really rushed. My wife and I asked for bread more than 6 times, Yes more than 6 times, but the bread never came.!

We asked for our steaks to be medium-well, but to my surprise they came out burnt and beyond well done. I ate half of mine and could not eat more as the steak was too dry and over cooked. my wife's was "Burnt" she sent it back, but the replacement was not that much better..

The reputation of your restaurant is at stake here, regardless of what type of function it was, we all left with less than favorable experience. Our dinner time is valuable, and expected better service, and food to be up to standards (yours at least) .

I am a senior manager at my company, and we were thinking of a gathering to celebrate some people this quarter, but after tonight, I must say I will be reluctant considering your restaurant. Not sure if the host did not pay enough, or what, but dinner without coffee or tea, and only one waitress serving about 35 people is a stretch. No manager was on site, and no one walked in to check on us or help giving us service.

I was never more disappointed tonight.

Desired outcome: Will leave it up to Ruth Chris Steak house.

I wrote a detailed complaint a few days later, after our complaints to the waiter, the manager and some lady (I guess the top manager) just said they were sorry, and dismissed the complaint. Ruth's Chris Steak House Knowledge of ADA and use of Service Dog

We made a reservation at Ruth's Chris South Park to celebrate my overcoming a prolonged and significant illness and feeling well enough to get a new dream job.

Due to health issues, I require use of a service dog. Immediately upon arrival, the manager stated our dog did not qualify and it became very apparent he had no clue of ADA laws, including having no knowledge of the two questions he is supposed to ask to validate whether dog is truly a service dog. He made us wait for 10 minutes then proceeded to seat us in an empty dining room and had a variety of staff alternate to serve us. For the record, my service dog is small and sat quietly under the table at my feet the entire dinner.

Unfortunately, the manager's ignorance of ADA law and his attitude towards us spoiled the evening and the celebration. Sadly, he will never know how hard I had to work to be able to reach this milestone and how his horrible service and attitude impacted our celebration.

Ruth's Chris Steak House I am complaining about the product and the fact that our complaint was ignored

I was with a friend/ receipt attached. We both ordered the pre fixed Ribeye w/shrimp. I ordered medium rare and it was plump and tender and delicious. My friend ordered well done. It was massacred and not the same meat. It was very thin and in 2 pieces, It was dried out, tough, and had grizzle. We complained to Gerald who said he was not authorized to do anything, he would send the manager over. After waiting a long time we started to eat because mine would have been cold. When we were almost finished the manager came over and asked if everything was okay? He dismissed our reply and walked away. When we had finished, a lady came over and asked the same thing. I told her...and again our complaint was dismissed and she left. Gerald should been authorized to have taken the dried out steak back and replaced, it. At least, the manager should have come right over.

The other problem was the water! When we sat down we were asked if we wanted tap water or bottled, or sparkling. I realize sparkling is charged as a drink, but we were not advised "bottled" was! There was an $8 charge for bottled water!

Another problem was being rushed in an "empty" restaurant. We had bread on our bread plates, and when they cleared the salad plates, they reached for the bread plates...why? We still had bread on them and told them to leave it.

It was a surprisingly, unpleasant experience! I say surprisingly, because we had been told how wonderful the food was by our friends; However, our friend did not eat at the Paramus location.

Desired outcome: Partial refund or food credit. - No reason to contact them direct as they did take any action originally.

Ruth's Chris Steak House Racial profiling

I visited the Ruth Chris's weehawken, NJ location. I decided to grab early dinner with my 10 year old son. The hostess immediately looked at myself and my son in disgust. She made me feel uncomfortable and worthless. . Told me that she is fully booked and turned her back at me and continued her conversation with her coworker. I told her we won't be long and she then proceeded to tell me that I can sit at the bar with my minor "If you can find a seat" as a black/Latino mother, this is the very first time I have endured such racism. I am human. I am a person.. I LIVE in the neighborhood. When I told the manager I feel like she treated me out of race he then proceeded to tell me how he knows his staff and don't say that because she is not racist. He did not apologize nor try to rectify the situation.

Desired outcome: Treat one equal. Green isn’t better than Pink!

Ruth's Chris Steak House Horrible service

It seems ruth chris has chosen to disregard my complaint of an unpleasant dining experience and do as little as possible to resolve the issue in a reasonable manner that would be acceptable to a valued patron of your dining establishments. My account of the evening has been minimized and distorted to make it seem my date and I were unaccepting of just people's attire but in fact it was a accumulation of things including their loud conversation and disruptive behavior by slamming on the table. I chose ruth chris that evening to have an intimate setting and for upscale ambiance you would expect from a restaurant of your caliber. Instead of an enjoyable evening we had an unpleasant experience of being forced to dine next to a group whose comfort was put above mine and my dates. We did ask for a booth and were told there were none available, we then again asked our server and another employees to just be moved and our request was denied for a reason that did not make sense. I have explained this accurate sequence of events to managers and corporate guest services but it seem you have unfortunately sided with your staffs account rather than your guest, which has basically cast me and my date as liars and brushed off as people that are insignificant and not worth making us whole for our horrible dining experience. It also seems that you believe this about money or a free meal but in fact it's about principle and the responsibility you have to your customers to make good on your promises of a enjoyable dining experience which you failed miserably at, while also making it worse with the insulting resolution you offered. I know businesses think that one customer can not make an impact in their bottom line, but you have severely underestimated who you choose to blow off. I am an owner and operator of a successful executive security company PRECISEPROTECTIONSERVICES.COM which caters to VIPs, executives, professional athletes, and performers, so I deal in customer service on a daily basis and I would definitely never treat a client as I was treated by your company. I will make it a point to discourage any of my clients from eating at your establishment when asked what my dining recommendations are when providing security for them. I hope you read through this email thoroughly to realize that your response and inadequate resolution to this situation is do in part to a self righteous attitude on wanting to be right and believing that I would ever accept your insulting offer of a 50 dollar gift certificate for me an my date horrible dining experience. Your company has failed to meet my expectations of what I would expect a high-end dining establishment should respond in cases of a negative experience, I will post my negative experience on any restaurant review forums in hopes it detours anyone from dining at ruth chris, as for the management especially the arrogant gm eli and inexperienced restaurant manager sarah, they need more customer service training or should go work fast food or retail such as Walmart or Target stores where their skills would be more adequate because it is truly sad and pathetic that your restaurant would lose a customer over 278.00. I will never dine at a ruth chris again and that may not concern you but the fact that your a failure at your job shoud!

Ruth's Chris Steak House Complaint regarding n service and food quality

My name is Jessica. I attend your restaurant on 7501 W Sand Lake Rd, Orlando, FL 32819. We were accompanied by two friends and we all decided to eat dinner during the magical dinning time. I have never had a bad experiences during our staff meeting in which we conducted in Ruth Chris's meeting room with both food and service. However, on Sept 29, 2021 we had the worst experience ever in your restaurant. I was truly disappointing. The food was cold, stuff chicken tasted stale, baked potato was brought out cold and burnt, side mash potato had chunks of potato. This was shocking and very usual quality for the reputation your restaurant has. Sadly, this experience caused our friends to never want to return nor would my husband and I return. The server stated he has been with company 15years but was very rude in his approach giving us the impression we were treated less than because of the magical dinning. I'm truly in shock with the quality food and service. Management spoke to us and apologized & gave us complimentary dinner but we were so disappointed and corporate needs to be made aware.

Ruth's Chris Steak House Fly in a salad

Insect, I believe it was fly was in my salad. Management insinuated I placed it in the 🥗 salad. This Ruth's Chris has incredibly inept and unprofessional management.
They should be scrupulously inspected for infestation and health and sanitation standards. Additionally I am hearing at the law firm where I work that they had numerous staff/ personnel with COVID.

Ruth's Chris Steak House Fly 🪰 in my salad

Salad arrived 8/27/2021 with a fly in the salad. Complaint was made and a sarcastic young skinny male manager by the name of Robert Trasp intimated that I had placed the fly in my own salad. I was horrified by this accusation and deeply insulted. I reported this to our company management and we will NOT be patrons of Ruth's Chris Restaurants any longer.

I agree, management personnel at this restaurant is pathetically unprofessional and insincere . Ms. Lori Connelly is the biggest phony and consistently utters overfamiliar little “pet names” like “Oh you Little darling sweetheart it is delightful to see you.” “ You look 👀 magnificent since I last saw you… “ my wife had never met her acquaintance previously. “She speaks down to most everyone in a profoundly patronizing tones down with little names like “Darling and My Lovely”. What management training specialist would deem it wise to speak to wealthy patrons with irreverent and disrespectful casual names such as those. This type of nonsense is for a strip club, or a tawdry brothel, not a fine dining establishment.

@ Usual Plainsboro Princeton NJ location:
Ordered a Filet Mignon w/ Worcestershire
Server Brings Plate w/ Grizzle & Fat
That Should Have Been Trimmed before Broiling

Meat was Medium to Medium Well
Nothing Close to Medium Rare.
I Complained & Another Employee Saw the Fat & Grizzle.

I didn't care if he agreed w/ me:
He Should have Replaced the Order w/ Another Serving &
The Manager Should have discussed this at my table in the lounge area..

Every Order :
The Server never brings the Worcestershire
Sometimes it's a 15 minute wait
Other Times -- Completely Forgotten

Bottom Line:
Although Disappointed / I ate the filet only
So the Chef & Mgr might see before I Cashed out.
The Filet was not broiled or Trimmed properly
Served
Thru Medium Well to Medium Rare..

Plenty of other Restaurants in this Area
That I will Now bring my associates to.

Ruth's Chris Steak House Service by manager Kaseem McCaleb. (Garden City location)

My complain goes back in February for valentines ...lost the business card but I Just happen to find his business card of " Kaseem McCaleb". We had a table for 4 people for February 13 at 4:30PM.

Myself and my fiancé we was on time but he wouldn't let us sit until the other 2 (couple) arrive. Unfortunately they run into heavy traffic and we had to wait ever and Mr. Kaseem wouldn't let us sit at our table.

I have been taking a lot of people for social and business meetings at Garden city location since 1999. I am very disappointed after that night. It was really unprofessional. They had us standing by the door during Covid in a narrow hallway. We asked to be sited several times since our table was ready and we would be orderings drinks while we are waiting for our guests, but he was not letting us to do so.

We had no choice, we left and went to Blackstones steak house.
