Rock Auto Parts Disappointing Experience with Rock Auto Parts: Shipping Address Mishap and Poor Customer Service

So, I gotta say, my experience with Rock Auto Parts was a little bumpy. I ordered some parts for my trusty old truck, but when I checked the shipping address, they left out the dang unit number. I mean, come on, how hard is it to copy an address from an order form? But whatever, maybe it was just a one-time flub.

So I waited for my parts to arrive, but the FedEx delivery driver just couldn't find my place without that unit number. I tried calling FedEx to give them the correct info, but they were like "nope, sorry, can't do it, the shipper has to make that change." Ok, fine, Rock Auto, can you please add the unit number so my parts can get here? Nope, not gonna happen, they said. So what did I end up with? Parts that never made it to me, and a return shipment that I had to pay for. A kick in the friggin' pants, if you ask me.

Now, I can't say that this was all Rock Auto's fault. But I do think they could have been more helpful in resolving the issue. It's not like I was asking for free parts or anything, just a little bit of customer service. So, yeah, I'm a little disappointed in my experience with Rock Auto Parts. But who knows, maybe they'll get their act together next time. Or maybe I'll just go to the local auto shop instead.

Listen up, people! If you're thinking of buying car parts from Rock Auto Parts (rockautoparts.com), let me give you some advice: don't. Seriously, it's not worth the hassle. You might end up with the wrong piece and then you won't be able to return it. Trust me, I've been there. And if you try to get in touch with their customer service, good luck! They won't answer your calls or emails. It's like they don't even care! So save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this company. Your wallet - and your sanity - will thank you.

Rock Auto Parts Rock Auto Parts: Incompetent Order Fulfillment and Constant Mistakes

Honestly, I've ordered car parts from Rock Auto Parts multiple times and most of the time they've sent me the wrong ones. I mean, come on! It's not rocket science to figure out which part goes where, and yet these guys seem to struggle with it. Except for one time when they actually got it right, but that's not even worth celebrating. I'm so done with this company and I wouldn't suggest them to anybody else. They're just not worth the hassle or the headache. So do yourself a favor and steer clear of these guys!

Rock Auto Parts A Disappointing Experience with Rock Auto Parts: Wrong Struts and Zero Customer Service

So, I had to order 2 struts for my lovely Lincoln a while ago. I was hoping to enjoy a smooth ride, but alas, one of the struts turned out to be the wrong one! Imagine my frustration when my mechanic tried to install them and nothing fit. So, I immediately sent an email to Rock Auto Parts (rockautoparts.com) explaining the matter and asked them to help me figure out what vehicle the other strut was actually for. And guess what? Three emails later, I never received a darn response from them! I mean, come on, people, customer service used to mean something when they invented it, right? Now, I am done with them and would never dare order from them again! If you care about your valuable time, money, and nerves – go elsewhere!

Rock Auto Parts Disappointing customer service from Rock Auto Parts: A review

So, I was in the market for some parts for my car and decided to give Rock Auto Parts (rockautoparts.com) a try. I ordered a bunch of different stuff and was pretty excited for it to come in the mail. When it finally did, I was stoked to get to work on my car. But when I opened up the package, I noticed one part was missing. Ugh, what a bummer.

I immediately contacted their customer service team to see if they could help me out. And let me tell you, it was a total letdown. Nobody seemed to know what to do about my situation and I was getting pretty frustrated. I kept sending them emails, hoping for some sort of response, but to no avail.

In the end, I had to go elsewhere to find the part I needed. It was a bummer that Rock Auto couldn't help me out, but I guess that's just how it goes sometimes. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this site if you're looking for reliable customer service.

But hey, maybe you'll have a better experience than I did. Who knows? Just be prepared for a potential headache if anything goes wrong with your order.

Rock Auto Parts Unsatisfactory Experience: DAYCO timing belt set from rockautoparts.com

So I grabbed a DAYCO timing belt set for my car from rockautoparts.com for $181 smackers. Alright deal so far, right?

Surprise surprise, two of the idler thingies came with damage- just my luck. Contacted them on Nov 20th and they bounced me to their website, which said if your order is over 30 days old, you're SOL. Ain't that just a kick in the pants? I wasn't exactly thrilled with their response at this point.

So I reached out to customer service to see if there was anything they could do for me, but they said Dayco warranties are processed only through the store that sold the part (i.e., RA in this case). Guess what that means? Stuck without being able to use the manufacturer's warranties. Total bummer.

At this point, I was ready to move on. I took my $900 order somewhere else and haven't looked back since. Overall, I can't say RA gave me what I thought was good service.

Rock Auto Parts Rock Auto Parts Review: A Bumpy Ride

So, I gotta tell you about my experience with the folks at Rock Auto Parts. Lemme just say right off the bat that it wasn't the smoothest ride I've ever had. They sent me the wrong part, right? And when I tried to call up and get it corrected, I couldn't get ahold of anybody who could help me out. That's frustrating as all get-out, let me tell ya.

And the thing is, reporting the mistake just wasn't reliable. It was like my messages were getting lost in some kind of deep, dark void. So not only did I have to deal with the inconvenience of returning the part, I had to fork over the cash to pay the shipping on it, too. Not cool, man.

And what really rubbed me the wrong way was the fact that I couldn't even talk to a human being to make sure that the right part was going to be sent out for a second purchase. I mean, come on, Rock Auto! Help a guy out here!

Now, I don't want to sound all doom and gloom about these folks. I'm sure that plenty of people out there have had some good experiences with them. But from what I've heard and experienced myself, there's definitely a bit of a reputation for them shipping out faulty or incorrect parts. So take that for what it's worth, y'know?

All in all, I can't say that I'm jumping at the bit to order from these guys again. It's just too much of a headache, and when I'm shopping for car parts I need somebody I can count on. And unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Rock Auto is always that somebody.

Rock Auto Parts Rock Auto Parts Review: Cheap Prices but Low Quality and Poor Customer Service

So I decided to give Rock Auto Parts a try when I needed an alternator for my 2007 Equinox. However, when it arrived, the box was in shambles and the plastic part that connects the adapter was completely broken. I tried to return it but struggled to get a hold of customer service. Eventually, I just had to put the broken part on and hope for the best.

Well, it lasted about a year before conking out on me. I have to say, the prices were tempting, but you really do get what you pay for. The parts are super cheap and just fall apart. Honestly, I think even a 6-year-old could do a better job than whoever's running the show at Rock Auto.

In conclusion, I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone looking for reliable car parts. The convenience of low prices just isn't worth the hassle of dealing with broken parts and unresponsive customer service. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Rock Auto Parts Rock Auto Parts: Frustrating Experience with Wrong Parts and Terrible Customer Service

Man, let me tell you about my experience with Rock Auto Parts and the set of windshield cowl panels I ordered for this guy's F-150. They got messed up by hail and he was counting on me to fix it up real good, you know what I'm saying?

So I placed the order at rockautoparts.com and patiently waited to receive the right parts. Long story short, they sent me the wrong dang set. The part numbers on the boxes were correct, but when I opened them up, I saw they were for a different model of truck. What a bummer, dude.

I reached out to the Rock Auto team and they refused to take responsibility for their mistake. They wouldn't accept the incorrect parts as returns because I wrote the right part numbers on the boxes. Are you kidding me? On top of that, they wanted to charge me $29.95 to ship them back, or else they'd trash them after 5 business days. That's a real load of crap, if you ask me.

Overall, this was a super frustrating experience that cost me a lot of time, effort, and money. I wouldn't recommend shopping at Rock Auto Parts if you want to avoid these kind of issues. Just sayin'.

Rock Auto Parts Disappointing Experience with Rock Auto Parts: Refusal to Take Responsibility for Mistake

Hi there! Last week, I found myself ordering a new set of rotors for my son's car at Rock Auto Parts. As usual, their catalog was pretty extensive, and I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. Hooray!

BUT, when the package arrived, I couldn't help but notice that the rotors were way too big for my son's car. Yikes! Immediately, I went back to their website, re-read the specs, and confirmed that it was their mistake. I decided to call them and request a return, but sadly, they refused to take responsibility and even required me to pay for the return shipping costs. Ouch!

I was very disappointed with Rock Auto Parts, to say the least. It's just not acceptable to have a company not take responsibility for their mistake. Sadly, this leaves me no choice but to not order from Rock Auto Parts in the future. I really hope this review reaches at least one person, so they don't have to go through the same hassle that I did.

Rock Auto Parts, you may have saved $15 on the shipping costs, but at the cost of losing my family and friends business. Shame!
