So, I had to call them up myself to check on the status. It's been a bit frustrating, but I'm hoping they'll get back to me soon. Other than that, my experience with Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. has been pretty good. They were easy to work with when I was setting up my policy and the rates seem reasonable. I haven't had to file a claim before, so I can't speak to their claims process beyond my current experience. Overall, I would recommend them as a solid insurance option.

Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. is a total joke. I mean, seriously, what kind of insurance company takes this long to respond to a claim? It's like they don't even care about their customers. I've been trying to get in touch with them for weeks now and all I get is the runaround. I don't know what to do at this point. I'm starting to think they're just trying to avoid paying out my claim. Stay away from Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. if you value your time and money.

Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. is the worst company I've ever dealt with. I got an insurance Bond from them as an importer, but they canceled it without telling me or my broker. I tried to get in touch with them, but no one ever called me back or answered my messages. It's a terrible experience.

This company is the worst. They don't know how to treat customers right. When we had a claim, they didn't help us at all. And when we had questions, they didn't even bother to respond. It's just really bad. I wouldn't recommend them at all. Zero stars.

I left a voicemail for "Big Boss Man" who apparently is her boss. I spent good money for insurance and this is what you get. I would love to resolve this without goin down the legal road. I been buying extra insurance from freightquote for a couple years now, and they make you go through Roanoke Insurance Group. We had to file a claim for a lost shipment, but they saying they won't pay because it was underinsured. Their policy say electronics can't be insured for over $25,000, so that's why it was underinsured. It's a way for them to not pay. Tracy, who's supposed to help with claims, wasn't helpful at all. None of the other team members were either. I'm so disappointed. Don't get insurance from here.

We sent a machine to a customer using a freight service and used Roanoke Insurance Group Inc.'s insurance coverage. The machine arrived broken and we had to file a claim with them. They asked for more documents and pictures and we signed some papers. But we haven't heard anything back from them since then! We asked a lawyer and he said we could sue them in court and file an insurance fraud case with the state department. But he said we should try to contact them again and file a ComplaintsBoard.com claim first. So we're doing that now. We want them to pay the insurance or we'll have to take legal action. Thanks.

I had a claim with Roanoke Insurance Group Inc. on January 30 for a shipment that was insured by them. The shipment was damaged by Central Transport and the consignee refused it. The freight company lost the shipment being returned to me. I waited from November to January for them to find it, but they eventually admitted they lost it. I filed the claim on January 30th and gave them photos, email chains from the carrier, and their admission that they lost the freight. I have emailed, called, and had the freight broker I went through contact Roanoke 24 times about the claim payment. On March 26, I finally got a settlement offer from Roanoke and signed it. I gave them my banking info to send the payment within hours of receiving the settlement agreement. As of today, April 9th, I still haven't been paid on the claim. The lack of communication and follow through is crazy. I just want to get paid what they said they would pay me right away!

They were in good condition when they were shipped, but when I opened the crate, I saw that the top side was damaged. It looks like the crate was dropped from a height and landed upside down, which caused damage to the left aileron. Unfortunately, FAA rules say that flight controls can't be fixed, so I lost the left aileron. I had insurance for $5000, but Roanoke Ins is ignoring me after I filed the claim. I need them to pay me out soon.

I tried to file a claim with Roanoke but they denied it even though the damage was proven by Best Buy. Roanoke took forever to even contact me and my agent never updated me.
