Got recommended from a good friend and we went them them because it was a local company with reasonable prices. Charlie was very personable and friendly when he came by our house with samples. We signed the contract right away. The whole process was fine up until we started having issues with our honeycomb blinds in our sunrooms. About a year after, we noticed a funky armpit smell coming from both upstairs and downstairs sunrooms. Seems like when the sun hits the fabric on the honeycomb blinds, the smell starts to kick in. It's worse in our bedroom as the sun hits higher into our house. The customer service regarding this issue is ridiculous, the ladies are just clueless and pretty rude. They never return phone calls. It's been about 4 months and still no resolution. I had to call Charlie directly on his cell phone several times and not much progress from him. Doesn't seem like he really wants to deal with us at all. The manufacturer is saying the blinds do not smell (of course they will say that!) and even the worker that came to our house admitted that they have a funky weird smell. We went with the honeycomb blinds with recommendation from Charlie so I blame him for all this at this point. It was our first time buying blinds in our newly built home and this just ruined everything for us in the sunrooms. Money was wasted and time of course. Will not recommend them to ANYONE. Our friend agreed on the poor customer service and lack of responsibility on their end after the initial signing. NEVER AGAIN!

Charlie (the owner) worked with us to resolve. We tried different methods before switching to wood blinds. His installers are always very courteous and quick. He also issue a difference in refund back to us which was very nice. I would recommend his company to others looking for blinds in the DC metro area.
