I would definitely recommend Residential Concrete Works and Landscaping LLC to anyone looking for concrete work. They also did a great job with my landscaping, making my yard look beautiful. Overall, I am very satisfied with their work and would use them again in the future.

My neighbor had some concrete work done and I asked how much to do my driveway. They finished my neighbor's concrete work and started working on my driveway right away since I accepted the estimate they gave me. They tore out the old driveway and got the site ready for concrete. As soon as it was ready, the concrete truck pulled up and started pouring. In 3 1/2 hours, they tore out the old driveway, poured the new one, and cleaned up after themselves. The next morning, they promptly came and removed the concrete forms. They were polite, friendly, and knowledgeable about concrete. I would highly recommend this company to other people, as my neighbor recommended them to me.

I got *** to do my patio with stamped concrete. They said they would do some things, but I had to call them back to fix them. They took out my back yard gate, which we didn't agree on in the first place. *** sent his son to fix the gate and other things. His son cut off the bottom of the gate so it would open over the raised concrete. But now there's a big gap between the gate and the lawn when it's closed. Animals can get in, like foxes. *** said they would send someone to fix the gate, but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything from *** or ***. They also broke the handle to the gate and didn't say anything. They hid the broken part in a flower pot outside the back yard. I want *** to keep their promise and fix the gate or pay for a new one.

R... came to our place to give us an estimate for a new sidewalk and patio. We talked about replacing our deck with a raised patio. He said it could be done and they would bring 8 tons of dirt to even out our sloping yard and raise the ground on one side. R... gave us a written estimate that was very basic and had no drawings or measurements, only a sq ft amount. When L... came to start the job, he asked me to come out and go over what I wanted, which was a raised patio with 2 steps from the door and steps all around the patio. As they started grading the ground, I realized something was wrong, so I went outside to talk to him. He said he knew what he was doing. I called R... to explain what he was doing. He assured me he would make sure *** understood and was on the same page. As they started framing, I realized that no fill dirt was brought in to raise the ground on the one side. Instead, dirt was moved from one side to the other. So, I questioned L... again, and he started disagreeing with me. I told him to talk to R..., and he said he was the owner, so what was it that I wanted. I explained again, but he said I couldn't have that and proceeded with the work. So, I called R... back and sent him pictures. He said no, there would be dirt coming to raise it. I had asked for only two steps from my patio door, but instead, he put 4 steps and no steps around the patio, as he said I didn't need them. The job was hurried, sloppy, and not done as per contract. There are already cracks in the sidewalk. They are unresponsive, and L... did what he wanted, not what I wanted. Concrete and dirt were left piled up on the side of the house. They cut one of our sprinkler pipes and just put the sprinkler head over it to hide it. There are numerous edges that have honeycombing and areas that are uneven and jagged. When I pointed this out, he said he would bring a sander that would smooth all of it. But he never did. The man was very unprofessional and rude. Trash was left everywhere in the yard. Don't use this company.

They came to do our estimate and we went over everything we wanted done. The estimate they gave us was basic and didn't have any drawings or measurements, but they said it was all their guys needed. The start date was on time, but when they arrived, the guy who came to my door didn't seem to know what was going on. I had to explain everything to him, and he didn't have a copy of our estimate. I tried to call the guy who did our estimate, but had to leave a message. After a while, I talked to the guy again and he disagreed with me about the work we wanted done. He said he was the owner and there was no one else to talk to. Finally, the guy who did our estimate called back and said everything was good. There were a lot of issues, like the colors not matching, cracks, and damage to our yard and sprinklers. The stain they put on is peeling off.

Residential Concrete did our patio, walkways, porch, driveway in Oct 2019. We saw cracks right away and the patio sloped so bad it was useless. In a few months, parts sank and it was dangerous. The front stoop slopes to the house and water and ice collect, making it dangerous. We had contractors out and they said it was sloppy and unprofessional. We tried to talk to the owner, but he keeps putting us off and won't call us back. He wants to use filler, but that won't work. We need the concrete gone.

I hired Residential Concrete Works and Landscaping LLC to pour a stamped concrete sidewalk from my deck to an existing stamped concrete patio. Matching color, texture, and pattern was super important to me. Rick said it would be easy peasy. They did most of the work on 9/7. They said they were done on 9/9, but when I saw the work, I stopped payment on the check. They didn't match the pattern, color, or texture. Plus, there were other problems like rough edges, crooked stamps, trowel marks in the seams, rough exposed edges, sloppy seams for expansion and contraction, and sloppily applied sealer. I've been stood up 5 times in the last 14 days. Nobody from the company has even come to look at the work since 9/9. I've been trying to get them to fix their bad job, but Lino (the owner) answers my calls and says he'll come the next day, but then he doesn't call or show up. It's been 2 weeks, and I'm going to file a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint.

Residential Concrete Works and Landscaping LLC gave me a quote on May 27 for a stamped concrete patio. They came out on June 27 to do the job. But, after 2 months, cracks started showing up on the patio. The company rep came out twice before December and applied caulk to the cracks. We talked about replacing sections if the problem continued and revisiting the issues in the spring. I called the company in the spring of 2021, and the rep came out and wanted to apply more caulk to new and old areas. We talked about replacing the cracked and sunken sections. But, since then, the company won't answer calls or respond to voicemails. In less than a year, the patio is sinking and cracking extensively. The company is not honoring the warranty and won't answer calls. I'm asking for 2/3 of the original cost reimbursement ($6,400 of $9,600) because it looks like I'll have to replace the work they did. I'd prefer money back because I don't trust the owner/company.

I was supposed to get some work done by Residential Concrete Works and Landscaping LLC on 5/27. They were supposed to do 771 sq ft of work which included 2 patios, a sidewalk and new steps. The next day, I went to check out the work and saw that there were a lot of cracks in the work. They also destroyed my grass and left debris all over my yard. They removed several pieces of landscape edging and several inches of dirt from my back fence line exposing my fence footers, along with cracks. I called my landscaper to come and check out the damage. He told me that my sprinkler had been turned off and it looked like a form stake was driven through the line. I contacted Norma about the issues and she sent someone out to fix them. However, all they did was remove part of the forms and pick up some of the trash they left behind. My landscaper had to fix all the damage they caused including repairing 4 sprinkler lines, 2 head ands and grade adjustments. They also did not pack the dirt under their work and poured concrete over rocks which will need to be removed.

On 4/5/22, *** gave me a price of $5,800 to replace my garage floor and put in concrete steps. *** said the steps cost $300. *** came on 4/12/22 to do the job. After they took out my old wood steps, he suggested I install wood steps again instead of the concrete steps because of the space the concrete steps would take, the fact that they will sink, and wood steps can be removed if needed. I agreed to not get the concrete steps and asked him if he had someone who could do the work. He called *** and told him the situation including why he shouldnt have sold me concrete steps. He said *** had a guy to do the work and *** would contact me to have the work completed. After Linos team finished the concrete installation, Linos son made me aware they were finished and requested payment. I told him I needed to subtract the cost of the steps since they werent installed and he proceeded to call *** while I went inside to get my checkbook. After I returned, he said *** told him to take $100 off the *** even though *** quoted $300. I continued explaining the situation to him but eventually paid $5700, $200 more than I should have. Is immediately sent *** a text and he called me. *** said Im sorry I want to make my customers happy so when *** sends the guy for the steps, *** would cover half of the cost. I agreed. However, *** never contacted me and no one showed to install the steps. I spoke to *** again on May 1 to make him aware that *** hadnt contacted me and to make him aware of damage his caused in the garage that they didnt disclose. He said he would send someone out the next day, refund $200 for the steps and repair the damage. I havent heard from him since.

I hired Residential Concrete to put in a stamped concrete patio in my yard last year. The work was not good and they had to redo it. The cuts were bad and there were grey spots all over the patio. Cracks started to show up soon after. They also damaged my house siding in two places. They wanted to repaint it to fix the grey spots, but I said no. They finally agreed to redo it. They tore it out and redid it, but this time with regular concrete. Within three days, white powder came out of the concrete and stained it badly. A chunk fell off and the top was flaking. I asked them to come see it, but they didn't know what was happening. They said they would fix it in March, but it took a long time to get them to come out. They said they would patch it and tint it, but it still looks bad. The crack is still there and they won't respond to my texts. I am very upset about this. Two people who know about concrete said they have never seen anything like it. I am embarrassed to use my patio.
