I been gettin' work done from J&J since 2015. These guys are like, the best! They really put their heart into their work and the results are always amazin'! Right now, they're buildin' out my office and I gotta say, I'm super pleased with 'em once again! I totally recommend 'em, no doubt about it!

I recently had a patio poured by J&J Landscaping & Construction, LLC. Just like the other review, I specifically requested that the outside corners be curved. However, when they removed the forms, they ended up taking off big chunks of concrete in a couple of spots because they hit it with their hammers. Additionally, the color of the concrete was supposed to match my existing patio, but it did not. The outside edge was also left unfinished, which was disappointing. Moreover, the finish on top was sloppy with numerous low spots. To make matters worse, they got concrete all over my siding and driveway. Lastly, they used a chop saw to do my corners, which clearly showed that they lack the proper knowledge and skills for concrete work.

Me and my hubby just built a new house. Julian from J&J landscaping was one of the 3 quotes we got. His price was ok. He gave a quote to my friend in our new neighborhood too and took some money off since we both chose him. Him and his crew (mostly his sons, not much of a "crew") came to extend our driveway, make a walkway to the back, and a stamped patio 18X34. My hubby wanted to go big on our new house. They were really messy, didn't clean up after themselves, and did a TERRIBLE job. I don't think Julian has ever done concrete before, or at least not a job this big. So many rookie mistakes. We signed a contract on May 5th, but he didn't even pour the concrete until Saturday May 30th. I have 3 young kids and there are still screws sticking out. I'm taking him to court because he disappeared on us. It was such a bad job. He said he would come and fix it, but never showed up. Then I asked him to just give us some money back and walk away. The day he was supposed to bring a check, he didn't answer our calls. The workmanship was terrible, really sloppy, no clean up, and he didn't finish the job. He disappeared in the end and now we have to go to court. We have to hire another company to rip it out and redo it, and also clean up the mess he made in the landscaping. He even got concrete on our brand new black top driveway. Don't go near Julian Rios and J&J Landscaping. I hope this review helps someone not to make the same mistake we did, and my friend too because her patio wasn't done right either.
