One of the best tree services I've found. Great people, great customer service. They cut a huge oak tree in the yard with no damage. They also moved an old motor home with no damage. I can't say enough good things about them. Tom.

These guys were amazing. I'd never use anyone else after today. I had a big palm and an oak in a tight spot in the backyard, right by my pool. They came with the right equipment, took out the paving blocks so they didn't get messed up, and safely removed both trees without any problems at all. Honestly, I was worried about how anyone could do it. Then they trimmed my magnolia trees in the front and even trimmed a couple other trees while they were here, then cleaned up everything! The team was awesome and really respectful of our property and everything on it. Honestly, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Marc H.

Aaron *** from Economy Tree Service has been treating me poorly because I declined his offer to cut down some tree limbs. He resorted to using offensive language, telling me to "shut the f*ck up" on a Facebook post. He even went as far as calling me names and sharing a picture of a bankruptcy case I had years ago on the Facebook group "Help Wanted & Odd Jobs of Pensacola." It seems like he is upset because I didn't hire him. All I did was express my opinion to someone else about not hiring Economy Tree Service because they quoted me $500, which I felt was an attempt to take advantage of a middle-aged woman. Since then, things have been unpleasant because Mr. seems unable to handle rejection. He has written posts about me, portraying me as a miserable and pathetic person, even though we have never met.

Economy Tree Services was called to give a quote for choppin' down one pine tree and one magnolia, grindin' both stumps, and leavin' all the wood and brush. When they gave me the quote, they said they'd cut the wood into sizes that I could easily put on a log splitter. We agreed on a price of $1700. On the day of the job (9/24), I decided to just trim the magnolia and chop down the pine tree. I still paid the original price 'cause that's what we agreed on. The team stacked up all the brush and wood. I paid 'em and they left. After movin' the pile of brush, I was bummed to find out that the wood wasn't cut like we agreed. I got 10-15 logs that I can't put on a log splitter. I called and texted 'em multiple times and asked 'em to send someone back to cut the logs like we agreed, considerin' I paid 'em the original price even though the magnolia wasn't removed. They said someone would come back, but they haven't and I haven't heard from the company. I want someone to come and cut the logs like we agreed in the original quote.

I hired Economy Tree Service to take care of the trees and debris caused by hurricane Sally. I've used them before and was happy with their work. I even suggested them to my daughter, and they did a great job cutting down a big tree for her at a fair price of $800. Her neighbor also hired them to remove a tree from his yard. They provided good service and a reasonable price, including stump grinding.

However, when I hired them to remove trees after hurricane Sally, it was a frustrating and unpleasant experience. Mr. Smith estimated the job based on 8 trees that he counted, and he quoted me $8500 to remove the trees, stumps, and debris from my property. He mentioned that my yard would look great once they were done. The crew arrived around 7-8:00 in the morning and left around noon. I assumed they would come back after lunch to finish the job, but they didn't. The debris was left on the grass for about 2 and a half months, and it killed a good portion of the grass near the road. They placed a large green container on the street, but they didn't use it. I had to spend $325 to install new grass, which was an unnecessary cost. They also left large stumps behind heavy foliage in the backyard. I recently read in the ECUA Pipeline News (May ) that contractors are supposed to remove vegetative debris from the property. Not only did they leave a mess in the front yard, but the back yard was also filled with stumps, branches, and other debris. I had to hire stump grinding for $375 and pay $100 for cleanup.

Additionally, the gate had a broken slat and was misaligned, so it couldn't close properly. I had to pay $50 to get it repaired. I called both owners, Mr. Smith and Mr. Kersey, multiple times to get them to finish the job, but I couldn't get a resolution. They either didn't return my calls or gave me various excuses for not being able to grind the stumps. The machine was always broken, stolen, or unavailable for some reason. Maybe the dog ate it (haha). They refused to complete the work and left me with a big mess. I'm disappointed in this company that I recommended to others. Their TV ad claims to prioritize trimming the tree over the customer, but that wasn't my experience. I feel like I got trimmed instead. As an elderly widow, I don't need the stress of dealing with unreliable contractors.
