ray chevrolet is the worst place to go for service. they don't care about their customers or their business. i will never go back there again. i was very unhappy with everything.

I got my truck from Ray Chevrolet and from the first day, the headlights didn't work. I brought it back several times over the past year for other issues, but they keep telling me to bring it back again. I'm very disappointed in the service I received. It seems like the technicians, management, or both are incompetent at repairing vehicles to customer satisfaction. They do minimal work, from mounting tires to whatever they do. Be cautious when entering this dealership because they have scary tactics. I don't think they can fix too many cars because I've heard from other people that their trucks still have the same problems after a year. When I purchased it, they gave it the GM certified name, but it's given it a real bad name. They never call you back.

I got a used car from Ray Chevrolet in Fox Lake, Illinois in October . It had engine problems that the dealer didn't tell me about before I bought it. After a couple of months of driving, I had to keep going back to my oil lube shop to top off the oil. My oil tech told me that this wasn't normal and that the car was burning oil through the exhaust system. I called Ray Chevrolet and brought the car in. They told me that it would cost $7,000 to fix the engine on a car that I've only made 5 payments on. Now I have a lemon in my garage that I can't use. It's sad because it doesn't make sense for a business to sell cars without doing proper inspections and leaving customers with a car payment and no car.
