Bandaids dont fix broken bones
Bandaids dont fix broken bones. Beware of purchasing a vehicle from Wholesale. If you must, have a mechanic inspect the vehicle before purchasing! Unfortunately we didnt. A few mechanics have told us it is evident there are "quick fixes" which were done on our vehicle in the past. Now we havent been able to use it because it has been in the shop so much. The more they dig to do repairs and replacements, the more problems they find. More "red flags" about Wholesale Auto would be their rude finance manager. He not only raised his voice at my mother, but also verbally cut her off and told her what she needed to do. I wasnt sure if I could believe it until he called me on the phone. I was apologizing to my family on his behalf. I have never experienced such blatant disrespect. It is especially appalling from someone who is running a business.
I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because the owner gave me my money back even though I didn't pay for a warranty
I'm giving this place two stars instead of one because the owner gave me my money back even though I didn't pay for a warranty. I bought a truck from these guys and they told me the bottom frame was "dipped to prevent rust in wet climates." Basically, they used a tar-like material to protect it. But when I got home, I noticed a piece of the dip had chipped off and I could see the frame for the first time. Turns out, they "dipped" the truck to hide the fact that the frame was completely rotten. Like, seriously rotten. I checked it out more and found holes in the frame from the rust eating away at it. Just to be sure, I took it to a shop and they said I shouldn't even drive it home because if I got in an accident, the frame would fall apart and I could die. I wasn't planning on writing this review, but the dealership put the car up for sale right after I returned it, like within 10-15 minutes. They knew about the problems with the truck, so I felt like I had to say something. And the salespeople are just salespeople. I tried contacting the person who sold me the truck, but they ignored me. ComplaintsBoard.com, I have pictures of the frame if you want to see. Thanks.

My 2005 Toyota Highlander needed a transfer case fix, and Wholesale Auto Dealers, Inc
My 2005 Toyota Highlander needed a transfer case fix, and Wholesale Auto Dealers, Inc. quoted me just under $2000 for parts and labor. It took them nearly four months to start the work after I paid in full. Surprisingly, they finished the job in three days, but then called to inform me that the car could only drive in low gears, not high gears. They asked for a few more days to run additional diagnostic programs to identify the issue. Later, they called again to inform me that my Transmission was faulty and needed replacement. They quoted me less than $3,000 for parts and labor.
My father suggested taking it to a transmission specialist instead of replacing the entire part, hoping for a cheaper fix around $300. So, I asked a family friend who occasionally works on transmissions to take a look. I paid $100 to have the car towed from Wholesale Auto to his place since it wasn't safe to drive.
Within 30 hours, my family friend texted me saying, "Whoever worked on your transfer case did a poor job. Both front axle nuts were loose, causing play when the wheel bearing backed apart. The nuts were also damaged. I tightened them, and now the car drives fine." He also mentioned some additional maintenance issues that needed attention and pointed out a missing bolt in the transfer case, which the mechanic at Wholesale Auto said had broken. I would have expected them to replace it for safety reasons.
I also want to note that when I asked my family friend to double-check the transmission, he confirmed that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it, contrary to what Wholesale Auto wanted to charge me for a replacement.
