Quality Control Air of Sarasota, Inc. is a total joke. They came to my house to fix my AC unit and ended up making it worse. The technician was clueless and didn't seem to know what he was doing. I had to call them back multiple times to fix the same issue, and each time they charged me more money. It was a complete rip-off. I would never recommend this company to anyone. Stay away from Quality Control Air of Sarasota, Inc. if you want to save yourself time and money.

He was super nice and did a great job fixing our AC. Quality Control Air of Sarasota, Inc. is the real deal. They know what they're doing and they do it well. We highly recommend them for all your AC needs. They're the best in town!

I've been using Quality Control Air of Sarasota for 3 years and I've been very satisfied. Anytime I have an issue, they arrive in an hour or less and get me back up and running in no time. I would highly recommend them to anyone for all their heating and cooling needs!

So, Sam came over yesterday to fix our old AC. We talked about what we could do and decided to get a new one. He knew a lot and answered all our questions, which made us feel good about buying a new one. The team that put it in did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. We didn't know who to call when our old AC broke, but my wife remembered a flyer we got. We're really happy with everything. 5 stars!

Quality Control Air of Sarasota helped me and my wife fix our AC in our Condo that got flooded by an upstairs unit. The water messed up our old AC unit and Brandyn T from Quality Control Air came on the same day we found out about the problem. Brandyn helped us replace the ruined unit. We had to work around a bunch of other contractors doing work, but Brandyn knew what to do to get the AC working again. He was good at his job, reliable, and really friendly. Matt L. also helped with the installation and did a great job getting the AC working in the condo. We're really happy with the work that Brandyn and his team did and we'd definitely recommend Quality Control Air of Sarasota.

I bought my condo 2.5 years ago and the previous owner had installed a Rheem model RA1430AJ1NA in July . I decided to stick with the company that installed the unit, Quality Control Air of Sarasota, and signed up for their 2x a year service contract. Last fall, on 9/30, Frank, the service person, came and told me that the UV light on the unit was out and that the system needed to be replaced. I was confused because my old unit, which was 14 years old, didn't have a UV light. Frank explained that the Rheem AC was a "wet unit" and required a UV light, unlike my old "dry unit." He also said that the EPA required it. He quoted me $685 for the UV kit and said that I would have a 5-year warranty and an extension of my service contract by two years, saving me about $260.

I trusted Frank and didn't ask for an estimate or do any research. I signed the form and he did the work. Later, I looked at the invoice and saw that the $685 charge was just for replacing the light, not the entire unit. I called Quality and spoke to Ray, who told me that they didn't replace the UV light unit and that the charge was just for the light. He also said that whether or not I needed a UV light depended on my duct work, not whether the unit was wet or dry.

I did some research and found out that the wholesale charge for the part was only $124. Quality had marked it up by 357%! I called them again and it took three calls to get an invoice with a line item cost breakdown. I found out that they had charged me for other work that I didn't understand.

Two other AC service companies told me that I had been taken advantage of. There was no need for a UV light unless I had asthma or breathing issues. I don't want others to be taken advantage of by Quality Control Air of Sarasota.

so i had some issues with my AC and decided to hit up Quality Control Air of Sarasota, Inc. and they came through big time. my crib is now cool as a cucumber and i couldn't be happier. shoutout to the tech who came out and fixed everything up proper. highly recommend these guys if you need some AC work done.

Quality Control Air didn't do all the stuff they said they would in their promo they mailed us in Jan. '20 for our ACs, and they made our garage flood. We used their promo for $29.95 to service our two ACs on Jan. 17, '20, and we paid $235. for two more services. Their techs took a long time trying to tell us we needed new AC units, but we said no. Two weeks later, the drain pans overflowed. We looked and saw the elbow at the end of the gravity drain was flipped, so the pans filled up. The drain lines were blocked and there were no algaecide tablets in the pans. The "kill-switch" in the 2nd unit pan was either disconnected by their techs or they didn't fix it. We sent them a letter in mid-Aug. '20 telling them we didn't like their service and we didn't want to use them anymore. We asked for our $235. back, but they haven't said anything. (end)

I had some trouble with my AC unit and called Quality Control Air to come out and give me a quote. They said it would cost $1200 to move the unit and fix the whine in the front of my house. But when the service tech came out, he said the problem was actually with the bearings in the AC itself. He told me the warranty had expired and it would cost $1000 to fix it, but he suggested I just buy a new unit with a 10-year warranty. I agreed and they installed the new unit the next day. But when they turned it on, the whine was still there. I told the installer and he said he would have the owner call me. But I haven't heard anything back yet and I'm pretty upset that they sold me something I didn't need. I've filed a complaint with the financing company and my HOA, and I'll keep telling people about this until it's resolved.
