They banned YOU not your id. Enjoy living in your little world where illegal purhases are justifiable. I, however, will be out here in the real world. Have a lovely weekend.

I still maintain that I have no sympathy for someone who gets scammed while doing something illegal.
Unfortunately, posting here won't help. You'll have to contact the source of your credit report and have them cancel it. This site is just for posting complaints about companies.
Is it possible that the language to what you agreed to said that you would end up paying $5.95 a month but that the fee was to be paid in a lump sum? I know a lot of sites do that - charge you for several months at once but show you how it breaks down to a per month charge. But if you disputed the charge, they may have rejected your payment and that may be why they canceled your account.
If a sleep timer is a deal breaker, why not buy a second remote? They're fairly inexpensive at WalMart and will at least satisfy the need for a sleep timer.
It's a scam. When have you ever heard before of having to pay for something that's supposed to be free? Next time, maybe exercise some skepticism when you receive a text letting you know you won something if you didn't enter a contest. Once the company has your card number, they can do whatever they want with it. Before releasing such sensitive information, do some research - like coming to a site like this.
I just renewed my subscription with Norton. When you install it (or renew it), they automatically set you up for automatic renewal. I'm thinking this stays in place whether you have the software on your system or not. All I did was sign in to my Norton account (not sure the exact site...just Google "my norton account") and one of the main tabs says "Automatic Renewal" and turn this option OFF.

If this is what caused your card to be debited, this is in no way a scam. The directions were spelled out clearly when I renewed my subscription and I had to check that I read the terms and conditions before I renewed. Make sure you actually read these things before using your card online.
My guest is you're not considered a customer because you don't have an account with them. I have an account with M&T and I believe I've seen that policy in numerous branches. While some branches may be lenient with it and not always ask for the ID and fingerprint, by having it as a policy, they reserve the right to enforce it.

Why would you give someone your password - especially when it's obvious to you that you're on speakerphone?!
Based on my understanding, you can't cash a check for more than you have in your account. If the check as a wedding gift was more than you had in your account, it's typically their policy to deposit it so that it clears as a valid check before they'll fork over the cash.
Can't you dispute this with the credit bureaus?

This website isn't going to help you at all; it's a forum to voice complaints and won't reach whoever it was that "unlawfully" withdrew from your account.

Based on a simple Google search, it looks like it's from a credit report ordered online.
Hotmail does the same thing. They need to free up server space. If you aren't actively using your account, why should they set aside space for inactive users and bog it down for those who are actually using it?

It's a credit reporting agency. You got the charge because you signed up for the monitoring, whether you intended to or not. All you have to do is call or e-mail to cancel - and they already have your social from you signing up for the credit report.
Send feedback to Marriott's customer service. The GM (or someone from the hotel) has to respond within 24 hours and make it right.

Just call the number on your cc statement. When you placed an order, you signed up to be a member of this discount club. But if you call to cancel, they will - you won't get your money back, but the charges will stop.

I go through that with Verizon at work. They're usually a third party billing company, not Verizon; V bills on behalf of them. Some are dishonest and splice together conversations when they talk to you or use deceitful questions ("Are you over 18 and able to make changes to your phone bill?") but they legally CANNOT make changes to the phone bill without someone giving permission.
There's no charge to see your credit score, but there is a charge for the report and monitoring if you don't cancel within seven days. If you went to www.freecreditscore.com, it's spelled out on the main page before you even sign up to get the score/report.

It's just a scam. Stop answering the phone and don't give them any information.
The fact that he endorses a product does not make him responsible. If he endorsed a brand of food that made you sick, would you blame him? Probably not. I hate to break it to you, but you chose to submit your personal information without researching the company first. It sucks that you're now being harassed but there are avenues you can take to make it stop - starting with not answering your phone when "0000" shows up.
It's a common practice by banks to clear the debits to your account before they'll credit the checks, so this isn't just PNC. Do you have virtual wallet or online banking? I use that through PNC and my money is transfered instantly. Sorry to hear that you've had a bad experience - I absolutely love them :)

This is a public forum and no one from facebook is going to be able to help you. Unfortunately, from what I've heard, going through their customer service isn't much more help. You'll probably be better off talking to your bank/credit card company tomorrow and challenging the charges. You also might want to contact the mods of this board to get your post taken down because you'll probably get lots of crank calls/texts. :)
Also, with big companies like WW, you can sometimes get help if you call like you're a new customer and ask them to transfer you to someone who can help with returns. They may have an internal transfer system that won't put you on hold like a regular 800 number. Good luck!

Usually the neighbors you have on fb games are your friends. If this person makes you uncomfortable, just delete them as a friend.
You might want to contact the admin of this site (very bottom of the page) to have your post removed. Putting your phone number on here almost guarantees you that the idiots who troll this site will blow up your phone too. Good luck!
