So what was the broken part that the mechanic fixed?
Perhaps a call to the circulation department is in order. At least then you would know if it is legit, and can let them know of your concerns.
Perhaps they feel you are over qualified for the position you are applying for.
First of all, if you didn't read the rest of the card you shouldn't complain, maybe there was a cute message inside. Secondly, what do you expect when he goes to buy a card at the last minute?
Let's imagine for a moment that this is a real complaint. Try to follow my train of thought here OP, I know that may be difficult for you, but try. Suppose that the first employee (Troy) you asked about the pickles works in the electronics department, and you ask him about something in the grocery department. Why would he know where they moved the darn pickles to? I work in the tool department at Sears, and if you ask me where a certain type of women's clothing is, I can point you in the direction of the women's department, but I can't tell you what rack or even what area of the department anything is located, because I do not work in that department.
Normally if you have the original receipt, gift item or not, any credit is made in the same tender as payment was made. If you have a gift receipt then you get a store credit.
That's hilarious, you don't pay the bill and you're saying you are a loyal customer.
When I look at the Hunts.com site under tomato paste, they show two different varieties, plain and with Basil, Garlic & Oregano. Perhaps the can you got was merely mislabeled.
Wouldn't it have been better to buy a cashier's check?
Sure, you can return it to the store if it fails to work for a "reasonable" amount of time, which is usually decided by the store or the manufacturer. Maybe they would have exchanged it if you had the receipt, maybe not, but without it they have no obligation to replace it.
If you talked like you types your complaint I certainly don't blame the pharmacist for not wanting to give you any more meds. If that is what you are complaining about but I can't really be certain.
I find that the best course when ordering for store pickup and they show only one in stock is to call the store and verify before completing the online purchase. In some stores when they show one of an item on hand it is the floor display and even if they are willing to sell it, I might not want it, especially if it is a gift.
I just typed watch battery into the walmart page and got 1752 results. The first three were watches, follwed by a plethora of batteries.
Faces, you are correct. I have used cashier's checks before, but never through the mail.
You stated that you did not have the receipt because you didn't buy the jacket. How would they check their receipts if you did not buy the jacket? Even if they found a sale for it, how would they know that you are returning the same jacket, again, you didn't buy it, so what would they find? Same goes for checking the cameras, if you were not the one that bought it, how do they know that the one you have was purchased and not stolen? It isn't as if the jackets have serial numbers that are recorded at the time of sale.
I guess it is safe to assume you don't have a Dirt Devil vacuum cleaner.
So you go into the Pharmacy and ask about a prescription on hold, has this particular employee assisted you before? If not, how is she supposed to know who you are or if you are authorized?
Who told you you would be eligible? It does not sound like it was Walmart the way your complaint is written. The rep told you you would be eligible for "full upgrades." However all carriers have a certain time frame before you are actually eligible. If you wanted the deal Walmart had then you should have gone to Walmart and bought the phone and gotten on contract at Walmart.
Actually, longfaces according to their website they do handle contracts at selected stores.
OP doesn't say how many customers were in the store. Trust me, when the place gets crowded it doesn't feel cold.
You can't work and have no money. Someone did something nice for you so rather than try and get credit from the store, why not pay it forward? Donate it to your local food bank.
I never said the contracts were Walmart's. The point of my original post was that if the OP wanted a particualr phone that Walmart had, then they should have done the whole thing at Walmart. Since they did not do that, how can they expect to be upgraded unless they have been under contract for the length of time required by the carrier?
No problem, I reread my post and it could have been clearer.
Actually JIS, it seems you don't understand the concept of being banned from a store. The OP admitted to cussing out the employees before, and stated that a few months ago he was in the store "just browsing" and exited when he saw the manager. This tells me that he knew he was not allowed in the store since he left before the manager told him to leave. Like truth I see no racism. The OP gives no evidence that he was banned for his race, only his behavior, which is the right of the store.
Really? My experience is that most "intelligent" people know that the lined spaces are for parking. If they are going to park wherever, it wouldn't matter how many signs there are telling them to park in the designated spaces.
