I wish I had found this before I fell for this scam! Ugh! I have read ALL the posts, and acted on a couple by stopping my c/ card and staring it up under a new number. My bank is aware of this company already and are doing thier best to resolve my dispute.

I explained that I only signed up for the trial, not a membership...at no point was I made aware of this. If I had been I would'nt have gone for the product. A membership taking £100 a month? I can do the maths, in three months I could have gone to my own dentist for instant results. I thought I was getting something that would work at a fraction of the cost, not something that would equal what I would pay in a dentsists chair.

My bank asked me to get a cancellation letter, I have just got off the phone with them telling them that Hell would freeze over before I got anything in writing, its hard enough to get it over the phone! (I have tried and get no answer, number invalid etc and so on) My bank also is aware this 'company' has many tentacles and operates very quickly to strip accounts using the 'terms and conditions' as a lever to do so.

After reading through all of this, I have also mentioned to my bank that a gentleman here got charged on his new card, even after the old one was stopped! So now they have something new they didn't know to watch for before.

I hope I can come back in a couple of days with something positive. The letter I got from my bank wasn't encoraging, after ringing and speaking to an adviser I feel a little more reassured.
I'll type what my bank put that made me get on the phone to argue my case a bit more and explain I had been scammed, was not aware of membership etc.

Here is the letter I received from my bank...

I write following your recent enquiry about the recurring transaction on your c/card.

I hope it will help if I explain how the Visa/MasterCard payment system works in this situation. When you give your card details to a retailer for a free trail or a payment for a regular service, you may be agreeing to set up a continuos authority. This will be explained in the terms and conditions of the retailer.

In these circumstances the retailer is then able to take payments from your card until they receive a written requet to cancel. Charges can continue to be debited even though the account is closed.

Before I can return any charges, I need a copy of your cancellation letter. I am unable to return any transactions dated less than fifteen days after the cancellation date.

We can't check individual charges on your monthly statements as they are sent out automatically. So can you please check your statements and let me know if any more appear after you have cancelled, sending me a copy of the cancellation letter. Once I have received this I will return the charge immediately and credit your account.

I just hope more than anything that I have stopped them taking more money off me, if I can recoup the funds under misrepresentation, great, if not I just hope I have managed to stop them fleecing me more.

Dear Nolan C I paid for the first one! Then got billed for stuff I never received off companies I have NEVER heard of or signed up to! So tell me, what am I supposed to return eh? Membership to bogus companies, your crappy product?

How dare you? Didn't understand your terms and conditions? I signed up for a trial, not a membership, your terms and conditions did'nt bloody well cover that did they? Your site is deliberately misleading and purposely set up to make the terms immpossible to read. If it was easier, or clearer...NO-ONE WOULD SIGN UP YOU IDIOT!

You are nothing but a bunch of scammers, how dare you 'respectfully' address me, you don't even know the meaning of the word you ###!

NolanC, your numbers don't work, I am UK based, so your numbers and cutting and pasting are equally pointless.

Why don't you do something useful...like putting a cancellation process online?

And more to the point, when I cancel with you, please, tell me how do I cancel all the other companies that you piggy backed onto my account.
If these 'companies' were providing a service, it would still be a total piss take as I didn't sign up to them, but as they are charging me for 'services' that don't materialise, its completely illegal. You are a bunch of thieves and I can't wait to see your sorry ###'s in court.

Can anyone tell me the email address of who to complain to? I have seen a couple of names mentioned, the BBB and FB. I will more than gladly sumbit my complaint if someone passes a web or email address.

NolanC, you will probably know it already, care to pass it on? And not just the usual BS you keep cutting and pasting. I looked at your profile, thats all you do? God you must be soooo bored of doing that by now? Either contribute something useful or get lost.

Thanks for the number Lisa0909, I tried it but suprise suprise it no longer works! I have tried calling the US numbers, none of them work!

My bank wants a cancellation letter, fat chance of that, I can't even get them on the phone!

AND! I just called the US number, and its for the Manchester Evening news distribution depot? The lady I spoke to is now going to speak to one of her senior collegues, and maybe run a story on this scam!

Hope that happens, it could save a LOT of people a lot of hassle and being stolen from!

Dazzlewhite is a complete rip off, do not buy anything from them, they will auto enrol you into other companies you are unaware of at time of signing, these companies will steal money from your account!

Best thing to do is cancel your c/card and get a new one. That way they can't take any more money from you. If you don't and you don't cancel with ALL the bogus companies taking out of your account, you WILL continue to get stolen from.
Cancelling with all the other companies is impossible, I tried, I was given wrong numbers time and again. Even if you do get to cancel with them all, there is no certainty they won't use another company to withdraw your money.

If you do manage to read a copy of the terms and conditions, there is a clause in it that says they reserve the right to change the terms and conditions without informing you. I.e. letting other 'companies' have your c/card details.

I can't stress enough, close your c/card and get a new one. Fully inform your bank of what has happened and hopefully they can recoup funds for you. At the very least, Dazzlewhite and its many guises will not be able to extort another penny from you.
