Daisy Mariposa’s comments

I received a e-mail yesterday (9/29/2009) that purportedly was from Travelex. They said they found my resume on CareerBuilder, just as "urdialezd" posted. I replied, asking for more information. The response I received today falls into the "if it seems too good to be true, it probably is" category. The monthly wage quoted for full-time work was $3100, but it wasn't specified for which of the three types of job openings this salary was purported to be. The benefits were exceptionally good. I replied, asking for more information since they never explained what the duties of any of the positions were. I was very suspicious, so I searched on "Travelex + scam" and found urdialezd's post. I'll write again if I receive another reply. This sounds like a more sophisticated version of the "Nigerian scam" to me.

Christine,

What is your complaint? What is the problem you've had with Kalibre or Gary McDonald or Frank Walcott?

You appear to be very angry about something, but you haven't explained what the proboem is.
Here's the link to the Kmart Feedback Survey:

I went to the Google Web site and searched on "Kmart feedback" and found the link.
I went to google.com and searched on "Kmart feedback."

I found the correct address for the survey:

It's very difficult to read text that is all in uppercase (capital) letters.

In addition to being difficult to read, it's considered to be shouting, bad manners, and rude.

If you had what you thought was a legitimate complaint, it would have been better if you had typed it in a way that others could read.

This is a scam that has nothing to do with Microsoft.

Scams and rumors naming Microsoft have been around for years. Delete the message from your computer.

It would be helpful if you explained what the man's business is and what the man and his sidekick did.

Have you contacted JCPenney? Why don't you return the liggage to them?

The subject line (title) of your complaint should have been "777 Club."

Until one reads your complaint, it appears that you are complaining about "Ronnie Corn" rather than 777 Club. Anyone looking for complaints about 777 Club probably will not find your posting. Why don't you resubmit your complaint?

Can you please clarify who you're complaining about?

Is your name George L. Fox? Or are you complaining about someone named George L. Fox?

From whom were the magazines ordered? How did the company get your name and address?

Did you miss the fine print on an advertisement? Have you replied to any advertisements?

I realize that you're upset, but could you please refrain from using such language when posting messages on this (and other) Web sites? Children / persons under the end of 18 years old read the messages on the site. They (and adults) shouldn't be subjected to such language.

If you want to complain about receiving SPAM, why don't you go to the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC's) Web site? The address is http://www.ftc.gov/spam/.

I understand that you're upset about there being an unauthorized charge on your telephone bill.

Complaints Board is not going to remove the charge, but your telephone company will. Contact your telephone company and tell them that there is a charge that you didn't incur.
Can you please explain what your complaint is?

Can you also explain what the picture you posted has to do with your complaint?

Thank you.

May I ask why you have filed a complaint with the same wording three times, the only difference being the title of your complaint?

Are you going to file a new complaint every time the company changes names?!?

Has anyone ever told that posting messages (and sending e-mails) using all capital (uppercase) letters is considered to be "shouting" and is very rude?

Rather than yell at the visitors to Complaints Board, why don't you ask Facebook how long it will take to fix the problem?

I am very sorry you are having a problem.

You keep sending the same complaint to Complaints Board. Persons who access the Complaints Board are trying to read the complaints from everyone who has a complaint, not just your complaint.

It's very annoying to have to scroll through numerous postings of your complaint before getting to something new to read.

If you want AirTel to resolve your problem, please contact AirTel.

I'm sorry, but your complaint is not the least bit helpful.

If you think about it, why should a visitor to the Complaints Board Web site not deal with World Education Services simply because someone posted a "don't deal with them" message without providing any background information or details?

Do you know what "rip off" means?

Do you know the definition of the term?

How were you ripped off?

Venting one's anger is OK, but why did you post your message on the Complaints Board?

I wanted to thank you for posting so well-written an explanation of the student loan process.

I'm not a Kaplan University student, and I do not have a student loan.

It's apparent from reading the complaints on Complaints Board that many, many persons do not read the documents they sign when making a purchase, obtaining a student loan, or entering in to a contractual agreement. They cry "scam" and "fraud" too often.

Sometimes the persons are victims of a scam or fraud, but most of the time, the individuals are "victims" of their own lack of reading the large and the fine print. Many persons who post complaints on this site cry "scam" and "fraud" without knowing what these two terms mean.

Hopefully, your explanation will help some persons avoid the problems that many of the "non-readers" have been having.
