Wow I should have read that more carefully. Calling people fat cows? Making fun of mis spellings? Why does your husband keep getting reffered to as "Lawyer Husband"? Does it really matter? So have the police or "Lawyer Husband" or who ever determined yet that a Hampton employee used your credit card number?
Its possible that they didnt have any regular rooms at the time of reservation and then when you arrived they did. It is weird thought they would give you the AAA rate if they could actually talk to AAA to confirm.

Charged or pre authorized? And I can tell you that you may not stay there again, but any hotel will do the same.
The hotel is not resposible for any theft. Although, they should offer to call the police for you if that is what you would like done?

They are not insured for the table. If something breaks, they have to pay for it. "Messing Around" meaning sex? Expensive night of messing around.

They have no reason to lie. Nothing would benefit them by doing it. I think they were just not aware of how these things work.
So what proof do you have that an employee took your number? What have the police determined?

No. How much did you sue for?

What proof do you have that it was a lie?
Where is the negligence?

What have the police determined? How is the lawsuit going?

"front desk of this hotel was not paying attention"

That is exactly what happend. That is why I say no scam. If you stay there all the time I dont know how they would think you wouldnt notice this time. Would they not correct the mistake?

I wont disagree with that or that they do not have a "complaint". My complaint is some people are making assumptions on what took place. When really it may not have happend. If it did, yes I agree 110%. But some people do not have what I will call "proof" to back up their claims. They just assume that this or that happend because it is a "scam:
Does it say on the inside of the door that the hotel is not resposible for lost or stolen items? Or on the registration card? Was the balcony door locked or left unlocked?

There were charged, I am not doubting that. I am saying what proof is there that the person or persons were lieing? Are you sure the person wasnt just someone that didnt know what the heck is going on?
