I was going to say most companies have policies like this where you can't take vacation during that time, but sounds like you can't take one single day off. Now if you were booking at the last minute I can understand, however if you asked well in adcance this isn't right.
Hey, hate to say this but ever since Viacom took over neopets and Adam and Donna sold the site it has become completely down hill. You are not alone. Many premium members have been frozen unfairly. Want to know something else, since you are paying for premium you can take it to court to get your money back. Neopets has been sued for unfair freezings and premium members have gotton their money back. I won't name any names but some people have been unfairly frozen several times, and when TNT admits it was their mistake instead of clearing the unfair freezing from their records they keep it and use it against you if you "break" any other rules. I think that if they make a mistake they should clear your record. Neopets is giving a lot of unfair warnings/freezings and suspensions. The funny thing is the nOObs(as we call rule breakers) are not the ones that get frozen and the innocent do. There was even one case where a possible pedophile got frozen but he had to be reported several times before getting frozen. Istead of punishing him they punished the 12 year old child because they did not want neopets to look unsafe(takes away money)
The worst part about getting frozen is not losing your account and neopoints but losing the pets you worked so hard to achieve. I have been reading responses and I would like to respond to others as well. Starting with Steven who posted the first reply.
Steven - I hope you win your case, every since Adam sold Neopets to viacom, there have been a lot of unfair freezings. Why I got frozen because I was telling people not to get premium because of several people being unfairly frozen. Then this Brandon dude said admited I was frozen by him because by telling others not to get premium I was making them lose money.
Patrisha don't expect a response, once TNT realises they are in the wrong or if you ask for proof they ignore you.
I would like to end with one final word, yes getting a human response is better than nothing, but some of these members are so rude and incapable of doing their job properly that an auto response is better.
Been there done that, had my whole family frozen. Told them we were several people was told that it was one person. Did not do research. I bet if my family ganged up on them and started attacking Justin(the person claiming it was one person he would know that there was more than one person. A lot of the people working at neopets including Jason, Brandon and Heidi are useless idiots who have not computer moderating skills at all. Also Justin has been accused of pedopheila but it has never been proven or went to court so he still works at neopets.
Is an EBT card like a debit/credit card. If he was using that I can undersand why they would not let him use the purchase. Like Jason said, how are they to know the card is not stolen. If they refused to sell him something with cash I could understand your complaint. He goes to the store two or three times a week, but with cash. Did you not make a board about this. I seem to remember a board about a either your wife's username or something simular getting frozen because of her username. Anyways I find it funny. (not ha ha funny but suspicius funny) that they froze your wife's account just after she cancelled premium. Interesting that they froze your wife's name but when I reported this username pervert(which was later banned from filters) the user was allowed to keep his/her name until they self froze. (This was way back when you could simply type in someone's username and any password and find the reason they were frozen.)
Well you don't have premium anymore but people who have had premium and were unfairly frozen have taken neopets to court and won the cases. Seriously Neopets is going downhill and I hardly play anymore. I don't know it seems that ever since Adam and Donna left neopets that things are going downhill. They have created another website though.
Neopets used to be a free site but now they are making it so that it is not free. They introduced NC mall and KeyQuest.(My guess is they created KeyQuest so that you can pay money to collect special tokens to show off.)

I have been playing neopets for a while. Got unfairly frozen. The neoschool thing has been in plans for five years and I doubt it will ever happen. I also find it funny(again not ha ha funny suspicious funny) that innocent users like you get frozen while scammers and even one possible child preditor who usually goes by the name angrykid is still allowed to create account after account.
You are right a lot of famous neopet users have left because of what is going on. If you complain about the way they are getting worse they freeze your account for "harassing" TNT or for using profanity at TNT, though some can debate that "you suck" is not profanity. :D

This woman is a nutcase. She regulary posts on pissedconsumer.com She is a white registered nurse and makes 90k. She thinks being white and a registered nurse makes her better than others. She physically and verbally abused her children. She make nasty posts towards other users and says someone else got into her account. There have been times when she slipped up and it was proven that the nasty posts were made by no other than her. She is racist against blacks, hispanics, Indians and Jews and physically abuses her children if they don't believe in her steryotypes against these people. She always asks for some sort of gift card. She is a miser. Makes money but wants freebies. You are right she needs to grow up, when she does not get her way she acts like a child. She is divorced and calls her husband a deadbeat father because he did not feed the kids the food they wanted. She is the one starving them. She thinks the world owes her. She thinks she has a right to cut in line because she is white and makes so much money and because she has children. She teaches her children to hate as much as she does, punishes them if they have black, hispanic, Indian or Jewish friends. She even punishes them for giving her ex husband Christmas gifts. I believe her boyfriend broke up with her because she stole money from him.

Hate to break it to you but whether you go to Target once a year and spend only 60 cents on a chocolate bar, or whether you go every week and spend $200 the policy is the same. You may understand the policy, but just because you don't agree with it does not mean that they should make an exception for you. Times are hard for us all. Target gets tons of customers everydayand losing one customer won't hurt them. Also the I am telling all my family and friends thing does not work. Some will listen to you, other's will just shop there because it is more convientent for them. You admit yourself that you don't always return things in a timely manner. You have children. Don't you want to teach them that if they don't do things in a timely manner that there will be consequences? Now was the customer service person short with you or are you only saying this because you were told no? To be honest it seems that if you were not reorganizing your closet you would not even know about these two products.
You are not the only family having a hard time you know. From the way things are going it is going to get worse. You are more fortunate than other's however because your husband was not laid off. He at least has some income.

I hate to say it but these companies have a good reputation of hiring disabled people to look good for the public. What we don't know is that they treat these people like crap. Not only do the employers treat these people like crap but they let other employees do the same. They make then do jobs that no one wants, talk down to them. Accuse them of lying if they claim that they are able to do something. Even while these people are in the lunch room they tell them what they should eat first and tell them that they should be good boys and girls. I know someone who was mistreated and it was shrugged off until the proper people were involved. (mind you the one bossying her around was someone who was firm and caused trouble if he does not get his way. He and another lady were eventually told to apologize and he was forced to get edcuated on disabled people which he should not have passed. This disabled person could cook and at one point he was implying that she can't because she is disabled. He has two children and got real angry at me when I asked him if he was teaching his children to be as ignorant and narrow minded as he was. He was later told to apologize.
Then they have companies(In Canada don't know about United Kingdom) These people are supposed to help in situations where disabled people were discriminated against. Instead of helping her Dennis Tsang, (who was later fired) told her that she be around people because of her disability. He also told people with downs syndrome that they can't do math and me that because I have ADD that I can't do office work. I have a feeling that he was only "helping" disabled people because he felt he was better than them for being normal. However he could at anytime have an accident which could lead him to be physically or mentally disabled and I am sure he would not like being discrimated against and told what he can and can't do.
Jason it is because of people like you that people with disabilities are mistreated. It is people like you who frustrate them and tell them that they can't do things they know they are capable of doing. Because of people like you that these people when given a chance are treated like ###. All this person is doing is sticking up for someone who possibily can't stand up for herself or perhaps this disabled person can fight for herself but is afraid to do it. Usually I disagree with Jason, but you have to say he does have somewhat of a point, even though he was rude about it. When you want to try something new you may or may not like it. I have tried the Angry Burger myself and I liked it. It was nothing grand, but I liked it. They can't give you a refund just because you did not like the burger. It may be nasty to you but to some people it is tasty. This is your opinion that it is nasty. This may not be the opinion of many other customers. They won't give a refund just because one person finds it nasty. The reason they don't give a refund is because they don't have to give a refund. I had a Angry Burger and it was not nasty, now unless they messed up your burger they do not require that you get a refund. I don't see why you are making a big issue over this. Next time remember how nasty the burger was and don't order it again. You are right there is no way that you know how something is going to be before trying it. I have ordered food and not liked it but I don't ask for a refund because when you try something new you may like it or you may not. If you do get it again. If you don't realise that you do not like it and get something else.

My guess is that that is not an average rating but Blockbuster's own corperate rating. Funny though how most of those movies are rated one and two. Not one is rated three. Perhaps the rating was from some other resource? Or perhaps some ratings were deleted. We never know.
