You called 911 because the cashier hurt your feelings? I am surprised you weren't charged with wasting police time. There was no need to call the police let alone call 911 over this matter. You were tying up the emergency lines. Imagine if at sometime in the future you needed to reach 911 for a life or death emergency but they were too busy dealing with frivolous calls like this one? I am sure you wouldn't be very pleased.

You didn't verify that they had happy hour? You were responsible for checking this information when you arrived at the restaurant. Just because some random link on Google says something, it doesn't make it true. It isn't even a link from the Applebee's website. The website does NOT clearly state it should be half off. A blurb from a random third party website says that many Applebee's offer half off appetizers, not all. Not the manager's fault that none of you took the time to verify.
Couldn't you just add salt and vinegar to the fries?
There is no such thing as only being able to use products tested on animals. That's just absurd. Secondly, it isn't their responsibility to pay your medical bills for using that product. If your skin is THAT sensitive then you should know to only use products you trust, or only test it out on a small patch first to check for skin reaction.

Pay your own bills.

You signed a contract and you paid the money. I am certain in that contract, it states that the money is non-refundable.

So you just handed over money to someone, nothing signed, nothing to show for it?
A&W NEVER uses Ice in their drinks. And Papa burgers don't come with tomato. So yes, there would be an extra charge for that. They also do not offer free refills. So why you expected one is beyond me. I have a feeling that your idea of him being rude was that he wouldn't give you a refund or go and randomly find you ice. They don't have it there. never have.

The store isn't required to have bathrooms for customers. There is no law that states they have to have bathrooms for public use. There are many reasons. ESPECIALLY in a clothing store. More opportunity for shop lifting.
Why would you think you were making a reservation from the hotel's web site? You know how to make sure you are doing that? GO TO THE HOTEL'S WEBSITE! If you had bothered to actually read the cancellation policy (which isn't hidden, it is written right on the checkout page and the $14.99 is CLEARLY visible and printed in the subtotal. It isn't a scam, you just didn't pay attention. Your inability to verify (it was right there on the checkout page. You just didn't read) isn't their fault. It is yours. I am attaching a screen shot of their checkout page and showing EXACTLY what is listed.

45 days is a VERY reasonable return policy. Most are 30 days or less. Just because they refuse to break the rules it doesn't make it lousy service.
The buy one take one is only available with certain meals. Did you order one of the ones that was included with the special? Not everything is buy one get one. Surely you looked at the menu, where it states what the specials are. "Meatball bowls" was not one of the selections for that special. So why would they offer you a free meal? They did nothing wrong. You should be lucky they sent you $20 gift card. You ate the food you paid for and you were given your leftovers to take home. You weren't entitled to more.
Did you speak up when you noticed the price difference?
It was a Motel 6 not the Ritz. They keep their prices down because they are fairly no frills and "sparse" as you say. There is nothing in their description indicating that they do provide any of the items you listed. (Coffee maker, fridge) So I don't understand why you are complaining about something that was never included to begin with.

If you bought it online, surely you checked their website for the return information. That would make the most sense and I was able to find that information in about 30 seconds.
You need to be specific in your order because you are making a substitution. There is no breakfast sandwich with turkeey. There IS one with turkey sausage. So yes, YOU need to be specific.

Lady, you are so full of crap. I read your original letter. You put items in your purse, then wandered around the store and started "rummaging" through your purse for your phone and your credit card ... right. You do NOT put unpurchased items in your purse. Then you claim since you didn't leave the store it isn't shoplifting. You attempted to conceal unpurchased merchandise in your personal bag. You come up with a different excuse every time something sounds suspicious. You have a bad back, so you can't carry a basket, but it's ok to put the same weight into your purse? Or hey, use a cart. This isn't your first time shoplifting, you are just upset you got caught and are trying to get out of it.

** this woman already wrote a letter about this last year. Click on her profile to read her more "in depth" article where I found out all about her hiding sour cream and sausages in her purse while hunting for chips.

Sugar is extremely bad for you - then why oh WHY are you ordering doughnuts in the first place? Tim Hortons has several varieties of doughnuts. Don't like one? order a different kind. They aren't holding a gun to your head and forcing you to buy just that kind.

Buddy, relax and tone down the vulgar language. You didn't post a letter to Tim Horton's. You posted a rant on a public forum. Guess what that means? You opened your message up to public comments. Don't like it? don't post on the boards. Take a chill pill. Maybe cut back on that nasty nasty sugar.

You didn't know they were going to charge you all 12 months at once, even though that's exactly what it says on their sign up page? Yeah... ok

Ok - 1) you didn't notice the monthly charges for the past 7-8 months? 2) the terms and conditions (which you agree to before signing up) clearly state that you must cancel before your trial period is up if you do not wish to be charged

From the website:

"if you do not cancel your membership before the end of the specified trial period, you will be automatically upgraded to full member status and your active credit card will billed, or rebilled, the applicable fee, on a monthly basis for as long as your full membership remains active."
You really don't get it do you? you did authorize them to charge your account when you created your trial membership. you agreed to the terms and conditions in order to sign up. those terms very clearly set out the rules and what was expected. I copied and pasted a section of the terms in my first response and it took me all of 40 seconds to find that information when I went to the website. I will attach screen shots of their user agreement (the contract that you agreed to when you registered) it clearly states that you cannot even register for an account unless you agree to these terms, so you obviously did. I also highlighted the specific section on trial accounts. and finally, I felt generous, so I included the section about cancellation and refunds (you aren't going to like it, but it is what you agreed to)

You really don't get it. it is part of the agreement you signed. you can keep coming up with excuses as to why you think it is a scam, simply because you chose to not do your due diligence. I didn't have to go anywhere else, I simply read through the user agreement that you must agree to in order to create an account. you didn't read it. you just checked it and went on your merry way. you did authorize them to access your account. you didn't pay attention. that is all on you.

So you KNEW it was the backroom (you admit it yourself in your letter) and yet you figure you can walk back there?
The coupon is clear: buy any 2 Dreyers OR DC Superhero. It doesn't mean buy 2 dreyers or 1 superhero. Otherwise it would state that.
