Oh, and one other thing - if you don't get anything in terms of reply from Futureshop and think you might want to take it further (especially if your independent tech comes up with some sort of proof) try here:

Epson has an 800 number for US support, you don't have to pay for long distance.
Don't know where you went looking for support, but you get it from the website. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/AboutEpsonConnection.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&Category=#section1 (for the US)
You indicate in your complaint you are in Tx so you would use the US support page.
You also don't say what kind of support you need - there are different sections for different support. http://www.epson.com/cgi-bin/Store/AboutContactUs.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes&Category=Help
I am in Canada and have an Epson printer and haven't had any problems accessing or getting support from them.
Can't say I like the commercial, but kids don't see it as sexual. The ones I have polled (without putting thoughts into their heads) just think it's funny. It only seems to be adults who apply a sexual connotation to the commercial.
I think it's a dumb commercial, but I don't apply anything sexual to it either. We don't eat at burger king, probably won't either, but not because of commercials.
If you really dislike it you should also make a complaint at the Burger King official website, where I think they've received a lot of mail about this.
Wow, you must have had an allergic reaction to that. Pretty bad. I don't know about the UK, but in Canada, you can even return an empty container for a refund from Avon. There shouldn't be a problem with that - did you contact your Avon rep?
I've used that product before - their entire line in fact, and I didn't have a problem with it, but my sister can't use it as it causes her to itch. I also ended up switching because of the expense...switched to Garnier Nutritioniste - lower price and a pretty good product.
I can't find any website called "elements5.com", but I'll guess that you tried to buy Adobe Photoshop Elements 5 from a website that is not Adobe.
Adobe is currently on version 7 of Elements and don't sell the older versions, but you can sometime still buy them at places like Amazon or e-bay.
Where exactly did you try to make the purchase of this product?
Did ANY of you apply to this company? Did you send in a resume? Did you fill out a job application?
If not, Then the answer is NO, this is not true. It's a scam.
I don't have any problem getting their website. You can't sue for false advertising just because you can't access the website.

It's taken 2 years and you still have not received a reply? This long after I don't think you'll get one either. If you haven't already, you should report them to the Better Business Bureau, and whoever the regulatory agency for residential/hotel business is in that state as well.
Harris Exploration is not sending the spam.

Nor are they "tied" to Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Sounds like you need additional browser and spam protection.

Boy, am I with you on that.
hmmm, I saw the commercial and it didn't bother me. The voice of the oven reminded me of "Hal" from Space 2001. Guess it depends on the viewpoint. Seemed more silly than anything else.
You can unsubscribe from mail by signing in under the original sign-in name, use the menu at right and look for "Complaints" - below that you'll see "My subscriptions" - unsubscribe from them.
I don't see any way to delete an account. You can, if signed in with the original sign in identity, go to "edit my profile" and change the email address. Only thing I could suggest is to get a "throw away" email account from somewhere like yahoo or hotmail and use that to replace your own with.
Whoever signed up registered your email because that's the one he used to signup with.

I installed AVG 8.5 on my husband's computer. I disabled the Link Scanner (surf and search) because it's a pain in the butt, but the resident shield is active and the product works as well as it ever did. He's using IE8 with winxp home.
I have the same product on my own two computers - one running windows2000Pro and one running windowsxpPro, both using Firefox (most recent update) and have no problems at all with it. I also disabled the surf/search/link shield on mine as well. I have other security products I prefer over that. I've also got this product on my laptop running Vista and IE8 running with no problems.
Not sure what's causing the problems in yours, but the product itself is not rubbish. Maybe you need to adjust some of the settings in IE...is it up to date? Did you download the "home version" (free) or did you download the trial version?
ahem...there is nothing to gain in Bell's "free trial" offer. Their service sucks and their customer service is worse than that - we are ex-customers, so we know the outcome already.
Telemarketers are required to NOT call people who have requested removal from their list, which I have done a multitude of times.
When a telemarketer is rude and insulting, who in their right mind would be interested in trying anything they are offering...even if it is free? Thanks for the advice but I don't much care to be verbally abused before I am even a customer.
Our leather recliner (a lazyboy) was my mother's...we got it when she passed. It's about five years old now and is basically as good as new. It's not the first leather recliner we've owned, but it's been the best in terms the quality of leather and how well it has withstood fairly heavy use. On the other hand, it was also the most expensive. If it breaks now, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't try to return it :)
Didn't buy it at a LazyBoy store though...got it a Leon's.
Here is what happens when you get sucked in by Bell Canada and one of their telemarketer deals

It might make more sense to procure a loan to pay off the balance owing. Companies generally don't close an account with a balance owing.
Loan interest is likely to be less expensive than that which you would pay to rogers, and paying off the balance in order to close the account will negate any further charges accruing to his account.
We use rogers, and to be honest, so far it's the best we've found. We've already been through Bell Mobility, Telus, Fido...you name it. You just need to be careful about your plan and know what is included and what's not...that usually means reading everything, including fine print. I don't have texting on my plan, therefore, I don't send text messages. No overage charges. I don't have internet connection for my phone, therefore I don't access the internet using it.
It's partly the responsiblity of the consumer to know what they are getting into before they do. You can't blame companies for everything.
If the money was credited back to your credit card then you didn't lose anything. Since they returned your money, you wouldn't receive the game also.
Oberon is a reputable company. I have a number of their games, including The Rise of Atlantis.
That's awesome Amanda. Glad to know you got some satisfaction!
It's not necessarily illegal to have these products in Canada. The products being imported must go through the same regulatory that any imported food products go through, and are subject to sampling and approval.
According to the Food and Drug Act the importer has 3 months to relabel the products to comply with the Act.
http://laws.justice.gc.ca/en/showdoc/cr/C.R.C.-c.870/bo-ga:l_A-gb:s_A_01_040//en#anchorbo-ga:l_A-gb:s_A_01_040
The french language law on packaging was shoved down our throats. Canada is English speaking and the only regulatory law should be that the packaging must have English. Seems to me if they have a law about packaging, they should either include every language on the globe, or just English. Plenty of people living in Canada comes from countries that don't speak English or French.
In Toronto, many shops don't even have English text on their signs.
Why don't you report them to the Food and Drug Administration? If you know it's been more than 3 months you might be doing a good thing by reporting them. Particularly if some of the products are outdated.
There is a list of contacts here: http://www.hc-sc.gc.ca/fn-an/contact/index-eng.php
Besides that, it might make you feel better that you've done something about it.
Yes, this seems to be some sort of thing with Bell Canada. We stopped my mother's phone service in 2007 when her alzheimer's had her trying to use her telephone as a TV remote. We paid her last bill in full, according to their instructions, but somehow ended up with a $26 credit. We received the credit via cheque, finally, last year (2008) in November...4 months after she passed away.
I hope you don't have to wait til then.
First questions is where exactly did you purchase the game from and next, which game did you purchase?
Also, what is your operating system and are all your drivers and your graphics card compatible with the game?
I have a number of Oberon games, and I haven't had any problems with them. If Oberon is not responding to you and the game is compatible with your system then you could try making a complaint on the Rip-off. It gets a lot more attention that this board seems to.
I haven't seen their ad on facebook, but if you go to their website, the advertisement says "5 poster for $5 Each". The terms also indicate that it is 5 for $5 each, and indicates that twice a month you will receive additional shipments.
Maybe all the complaints are paying off.
I found their terms to be reasonably clear, except in one spot they indicate a twice monthly shipment, and further down it says shipments may be "more or less than twice a month" (that needs to go - it opens the door to essentially saying they can send you what they want when they want).
It also says refunds will occur in 10 days, not 4 months, so somebody is trying to put you off.

I have used vista print before. What was unclear in their offer? You mention the offer was to receive a discount, but what were the terms required to get the discount?
They usually have lots of "fine print" that you are required to read, but if you read it all, you don't usually get unexpected surprises.
