Contrary to popular belief, that policy is not in place to inconvience you - it's to protect Walmart. They don't know if you've done something to the comforter - whether you read the bible or not. Do you know how many people would be trying to scam Walmart if they did away with the reciept policy? They don't know you - what makes you so special that they should disregard their policies? Bend the rules for one & they'd have to bend the rules for the rest. You want to get mad at something, get mad at the hordes of scammers that try to rip places like Walmart off, the REASON they have those policies in the first place.

That sucks the thing broke, but do you really expect WalMart to go over the warranty of each item you purchase at the time of checkout? How about doing a little research online before buying the item, check out some reviews. Otherwise if you didn't agree with the warranty policy you could have returned the item to WalMart *before* it broke.
