Priceless Car Rental review: Hidden fees for car rental, scam

Avoid this company. They are scammers and liars. Hidden fees. Terrible experience in their Cancun (Mexico) office. We made an online reservation for the car for 2 weeks + we ordered extra insurance (the best insurance package) with zero excess rate, to be stress-free. The total price (including the extra insurance) should have been around 500 euros.

When we arrived to pick up the car in Cancun, the employee in the office suddenly told us that we also have to pay "mandatory insurance - some third party liability insurance" for 1200 USD! Of course, we refused to pay this. We had an online reservation that stated the total price and all the conditions. It never mentioned extra 1200 USD for another "mandatory insurance". Their employee insisted that if we don't pay this amount, we don't get the car and we can leave and rent a car somewhere else. In the end we did that.

We met another 3 families there in Priceless office that had the same issue as us. We all canceled reservations and left.
