Claim and prescription faxed for car seat harness on 8/19/25. Called 4 different times and received 4 different answers regarding delay. Last call was on 10/22/25 and was told by Violet that these claims take 4 months to process, not true! she further stated they needed 14 more days to review. Denial letter received 10/29 because Preferred did not answer insurance company about doctor letter needed. Preferred also did not tell me that this was requested. Been dealing with Preferred for many years and it's always a struggle but we have no choice as that is who United Healthcare contracts with. Won't change unless United cancels them, then maybe their attitude will change.
