I wanna get paid for my stuff that got wrecked from a leaky ceiling and a toilet that overflowed for two whole days. The place was totally unlivable and dangerous, so they put me up in a hotel. I lost everything in this mess.

The guy who runs PMI Midwest took my $1000 deposit and now wants me to pay $545 for cleaning and painting, even though the carpet was already worn out from living there for 5 years. They never replaced the carpet before I moved in, and now they won't let me appeal the charges unless I give them pictures or a move-in document that the owner never gave me. They didn't even bother to look at my legal papers about Indiana renters' rights, and they sent my deposit letter to the old address even though I told them where to send it. They won't even talk to me about these problems.

My truck got towed without any proper notice along with other people's cars. They've been giving me the runaround about what happened. First, they said it was towed to one of the three numbers they gave me. When I called all around, no one had my VIN number. Then they told me my truck was reported stolen, but my truck is paid for. They illegally towed vehicles off the lot with no notification at all. It's been two weeks, and still nothing. I use my truck for work, and all my lawn equipment is in there. I also have to take care of my mother, who is in her 70s and legally blind. I have to take her to her appointments as well as picking up her meds. This has caused so much disruption; it's insane. They're telling lies and getting away with it. This is not fair, and they are stealing cars. I was told they were to bring the vehicles back last Sunday because it was done illegally. They also turned my hot water off last Thursday, leaving me without any hot water to bathe. They're trying to get me to move out before the court date on the ***. I'm not fighting to stay here; I'm fighting for my rights, and this is so not right. They are lying thieves, and this has to end. They didn't even accept the Indy rent I applied for. I never received any work done. I have holes, mice droppings, mold all around, and they're just putting new stuff over the mold, only covering the problem. I smell mold coming up from the two flooded molded apts downstairs from me, as well as trash everywhere. I would be ever so grateful if I could get help getting my truck back that was illegally towed from the complex I've been living in since 2019. Some workers admitted to me that these cars were towed, and we still have no idea where our property is. Please help.
