I went to Planet Fitness to cancel my account. When I tried to they said that I still have until March, whereas when I called two weeks ago a worker told me November (this month)? I spoke to the manager which is the reason of this complaint. He was texting and talking on his phone, walking away and not paying attention to me. For all he could have known, he could have persuaded me to stay with Planet Fitness. He would not explain to me the extra $10 billing and when I said I'd bring in bank statements he said, "Well where are they?". Obviously I said I'd GET them. GET means going to receive not RIGHT NOW. He was being so rude, disrespectful, hateful and inappropriate. I asked for his name and he wouldn't tell me, just said he is the Regional Manager and head manager of ALL Albuquerque Planet Fitnesses. He said the Owner was on site but wouldn't let me talk to him! I then left my number and complaint for the Owner but at a different location. I hope he calls...
I also had a bad experience with the Coors location. The staff is lazy, rude and generally not interested in working. I had a cc change and was not notified that the card did not go through. For 8 months I was on auto pay. Finally received a call telling me I owed money and now I owe $10 fee for late pay. Late pay on an auto pay and no notification that payment did not go through. They told me they have too many members to keep track of so they do not call until they charge $10.00. I cancelled my account and broke the contract. Whenever I went the parking was so busy, machines too many people and the staff the worst. The one on Irving is much better but I cant get there much so I gave up. Coors stinks, is too busy and not worth getting it free. I would never recomment Planet Fitness to anyone. The cheap prices should be the clue to what the future will be.
