This was my first time using a moving company, and the owner and his team made it seamless. They were phenomenal, rolled with the punches, and worked fast! I'd recommend them and will use them again!

Personal Movers coordinated everything from the head office, had plenty of communication and was very responsive to all my questions and concerns. They had the container there right on time, and they were ready and waiting to cheerfully and carefully unload all my stuff into storage.

Personal Movers and their team were amazing, polite, friendly, professional, and very efficient. The move was stress-free and done in a timely manner. They ensured all my belongings were safely secured and helped set up the parts of the apartment I asked them to. Great service! Will definitely use them again and recommend to anyone I know moving.

Interaction with the office team (Sarah and John) to set up the move was a breeze. On the day of the move, Mike and Alex arrived 15 minutes before the appointment time. They were very punctual, professional, and friendly. They made sure all items in the move were safely transported to my new residence. Highly satisfied with the service they provided. Just completed a local move with Personal Movers. I would not hesitate to recommend these guys based on my experience today. They arrived on time, were very courteous and professional, and completed the move with the greatest of care. I did my own packing of boxed items, and they took great care to wrap and tape everything else in moving blankets and ensure that everything arrived clean and without damage. Exceeded our expectations. Almost a month has passed, since I moved from Toronto to Vancouver on very short notice. The buyer for my condo wanted possession in 3 short weeks. Fortunately, my daughter had heard about your company and made arrangements for you to handle my move. When my architect husband was alive, he would take charge of any moves we made, and I would only have to help with all the packing preparations. However, this time I was alone, with only my Vancouver based daughter to help me, and I had under estimated the number of hours that would be required to get my things out of my condo. (Not only was it a long walk from my suite to the elevator lobby, but there was an equally long walk across the outside elevated courtyard to the loading area.) Consequently, your staff had considerably more work and walking to do than was planned for. However, they treated me with respect, realizing that I was just inexperienced and then very competently and efficiently worked through the many challenges that they faced with this move. Would you please thank your team for their excellent work and for the support they gave me with this very difficult move?

Hi I am looking for repairs on the damages done during moving of my belongings furniture

Mishandling of my furniture during my move. Received damage on 6 pieces of furniture and barbecue along with a missing box. I was offered $100 in compensation for repairs that will likely cost me upwards of $500. Proper procedure was not followed in that the movers did not remove the moving blankets from my furniture before they left so an inspection could take place. I was left with 4 blankets and damaged furniture they are not willing to help fix.

I was quoted a 3 hour job, at $130/hour.Personal Movers sent two young boys who were unprepared with no equipment - not even a dolly. The boys moved my belongings individually, box by box, taking over 3 hours just to load my one bedroom apartment onto their truck. The company is blaming this on the fact that the building had lost the elevator key and it could not be put in service, even though we were told it was okay to simply place an item to hold the door open and use as needed.These movers did not place anything down to protect my floors, threw items such as my couch cushions on the garage floor leaving them dirty, dragged furniture causing scratches, and ultimately dragged this into a 6.5 hour job for which they charged me $***.When I called their office the gentlemen told me I was lying about the dolly (I can show video footage of them moving the individual items without one) and was very unprofessional with me. I was told this was the typical length for this job.For context, I've moved two other times in the past 3 years with the exact same furniture/belongings. It has not taken anymore than 1 hr 15 mins to load, and 1 hr to unload. I typically pay around $500, and when I moved from *** to *** I paid $1800 to move my stuff all the way across the country. Personal Movers dragged this job out unnecessarily - I was charged $*** to move a minimal one bedroom apartment 8 minutes down the road.
