Perodua Perodua wrongly diagnose my car problem

On 07 July 2023, I went to Perodua Service Centre Nilai Negeri Sembilan due to aircond problem on my myvi. There sound and pungent smell like gas when turn it on. The aircond gas also about to finish. After check by foremen, they conclude that my car having cooling cool problem and suggested to change the coil which quote price RM1246.

On 17 July 2023, I send my car to change the cooling coil as suggested.

On 18 July 2023, I was informed by SA my car already fixed. I ask the SA to check if there any abnomalities like still have sound or not. SA said foreman already verified the car already in good condition and redy to be taken. I paid the price RM1248.55.

On 20 July 2023, I come back to the Perodua and told the SA that my car still have sound and gas smell like before the repair process. I was told by the SA the sound and smell are normal because the coil still new (verified by foreman). Due to the unsatified feeling as the sound and smell become stronger I ask SA to check my car again. After checked it is found that my aircond gas already drop to 50% which mean there still gas leaking.

My concerns here, I have spend a lot of money but the real problem still there and not solve by the foreman. This means the foreman not do their work properly and wrongly diagnose my car problem cause me lose about RM1248.55. Beside that, how come foreman can verified the car in good state although there still sound and gas smell even after change the coil? This is safety issue as leaking of gas are danger to our health and can lead to fatal. The foreman also do not do proper job as there clip at my car bumper not clipped after the repair.

Until now there no action from SC. I cant accept the answer "we cant find the leaking" So, what will happen to my car? This already disturb my routine life as I need to use the car for routine job.

Desired outcome: I hope Perodua can clarify this matter. I want Perodua fix my car problem without any more charges as I already pay a lot of amount for their incorrect diagnose.

Perodua Produa myvi having issues

I was disappointed produa service center bandar baru sungai buloh make me really upset. When I was telling my car having small issues but service advisor refuse. Today saturday so i'm off day this is the time to complaint my car issues but this service advisor don't want listen.

I don't know where to complaint this issued. This service center only concerning money but never care about customer. This service center think that i'm so free to sent my car in weekdays.

Perodua Service advisor is irresponsible

Hi,

I am writing this to express my disappointment on the responsibility of the Service Advisor who handled my verhicle.

I've sent my car to Perodua Service Centre for service due to accident 2-3 weeks ago. The middle person who're handling the polis report and dealing with Perodua service centre told me that is takes about 20 working days (about a month) for repairing the car. After settling all the documents and my car, one of the Service Advisor (Mila) will be in-charged of the rest of the progress (eg: insurance claims).

After a month, I texted the service advisor and ask for updates. She told me that, they're still repairing my car and will move to spraying after this. I've ask for the estimated timeline for me to get my car. And this is the first time she ignored my question. After 10 days (which is today), I've texted her again for updates. And this is the second time she ignored my message.

I understand that, sometimes it might takes up some time for repairing. But the problem is, at least the Service Advisor should let me know the progression or estimated timeline. BUT NOT JUST IGNORE IT. This is so rude and irresponsible. I need to update my supervisor on the estimated timeline as well, because I'm requesting to work from home due to this. And every week I kept asking for permission to WFH, but I can't informed them when I'm able to be back to office.

So please, do help to follow up with this. Really appreciate your help and looking forward to your prompt response.

Perodua Still waiting for my new Bezza 1.0 to arrive after 3 months

Hope the perodua management in charge, we want to demand a letter of apologie as a long wait for my new car

Booked at Perodua Dato Keramat, upon booking has been notify by sales advisor, about 2 months will arrive a may be earlier depending on the stock..

Till now 11 July 2023 nothing has been deliver to us...

Booked on 5 April 2023.

Still waiting for the new car to arrive without any news till now.

I would like to know when the perodua Beza 1.0 Silver Colour , can be produce according to the date book? I am waiting the car new car Beza than 3 months plus and the agent has inform me now still have to wait, Booked on 5 April till now, We don't understand how take such a long waiting? As mentioned upon booking was told only 2 months or slightly more only

And, may i know whats the service and production standard of perodua manufacturer?

How come the production can be such slow? give me an reply when you receive my question

Perodua Miri perodua service centre

Venue: Perodua Kong Teck Service Centre

Date : 10th July 2023

Appointment : 8.30AM

Told to reach by 8AM else appointment being cancelled

Reached and checked in 7.30AM

8AM Service adviser informed on the 10,000KM second service maintenance on the new car.

10AM service was done and ready for collection.

1. Went for payment, and cashier informed that i could not use my UVoucher as i did not inform the Service Advisor prior on servicing. Come on, the booking was made from Ufirst apps and the Uvoucher is in the account. Wondering why the under trained service advisor did not even put in the available Uvoucher for new car 2nd service? Totally disappointed with the knowledge of the Service Adviser.

2. I collected the car and still the icon light reminder for servicing still blinking without being reset by the centre/mechanic. How sure am i if the vehicle was being serviced properly at all?

Perodua Agent no proceed for cancelled order refund

Hi Sir/Madam,

Good day.

I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the cancellation of my order and the subsequent delay in processing the refund.

On 16/05/2023, I placed an order ATIVA 1.0X at Showroom Perodua Kinrara Puchong, 40G Plaza Kinrara, Jalan Puchong Mesra, 58200 Puchong, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur from Mr Nicholas Wong. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to cancel the order on 06/06/2023. I was informed that a refund would be processed within 13-18/06/2023.

However, it has now been One Month since the cancellation, and I have yet to receive any communication or refund from your company. I kindly request you to investigate this issue with utmost urgency and provide me with an update on the status of my refund.

If there are any additional documents or information required from my end to facilitate the refund process, please let me know, and I will promptly provide them, I trust that your team will address this matter efficiently and ensure speedy resolution.

I would like to emphasise that I have been dissatisfied with Mr Nicholas Wong's sales service, he takes no responsibility for this issue and and no response. Therefore I don't have a good channel to solve this problem.

Perodua Insurance price paid variance with insurance premiums

I had just bought a new car Aruz, before and when make payment had confirm with SA about the insurance charge is RM2455 and NCD follow this amount as this car total price is RM 80355 includes insurance charge RM 2455 in their price list showed.

When I get my car and insurance premium is only RM2089 with tax, it was variance RM366. I ask SA for this variance RM366 , he explained this variance is commission paid by insurance to company and SA.

But the insurance I paid is RM2455 and the insurance premiums showed only RM2089?

Are this explains is reasonable? Should them refund the variance RM366 or change the insurance premium amount to RM2089 which amount paid.

The NCD 55% will based on the insurance premium RM2089 or insurance amount paid RM2455?

Perodua Perodua fender quality problem

Yesterday(30/06/23) when I was passing serdang toll I heard a sound from car but on highway cannot suddenly brake car and stop right ?

So after parking I realised it was sound of the fender “takes off” on highway. I search online there are MANY people encounter the same quality problem. Please do something to improve and NOT just ignoring your customer.I went to SC & the person didn’t even check video or condition terus bgtau “loss item cannot be claim”.

Halo please check the truth before just shove statement like that to blame customer on this problem. My car cam can prove it takes off suddenly by itself on the road,file sizes are too big cannot upload here. If this thing won’t be taken seriously and no statement and claim be made I will take further actions.

Perodua Bad service and no responsibility

March 2023 I send my perodua myvi to service at perodua service center bukit raja. After service my car start jerking and die. Then I go again after a couple month to check what the problem and then wait from morning till evening and they said they can't find what the problem that cause this and ask me to come sent it later. But till now they still don't provide anything regarding this.

I would like to know when the perodua Alza can be produce according to the date book? I am waiting the car Alza Advance more than 6 months and the agent has inform me now still have car owner under Sep 2022 waiting list.

And, agent is inform me that brown color not produce a lot compare to other color. may i know whats the service and production standard of perodua manufacturer?

Perodua Service from perodua muar

Hi. I’m Akmal and the owner of myvi av (reg.no. JVC7518).

19/05/2023

I made an appointment on that day and sent my car for 20k mileage service. Need to wait from 9.20 until 12.30 to get my car fully service but unfortunately, one of the staff had crash my rear bumper while driving another customer’s car. Talk to my SA for solution of the accident. My SA ask me to leave the car at service centre for 3 days but i need to used the car on that weekend.

My SA’s whatsapp me to send my car on 1st June, unfortunately, i can’t send my car due to some personal purposes and asked for replacement car if i had to send my car to the centre for the repairmen issue. The SA need to confirm with the staff who handling the issue.

31/5/2023

Waiting for confirmation for 3 days! I have to contact the SA for the answer and asked me to postponed the repair because shortage of manpower.

4/6/2023

SA whatsapp me and asked me to sent the car on Thursday.

I send my car for repair and still asking the replacement car. But the staff was giving me an attitude that they dont provide any replacement car when the problem is their fault.

I keep updating with the SA for the update of my car. But yesterday, they giving me unreasonable answer regarding to the paint. I’m so disappointed with their service! I need the car to move for daily life and i need to wait for another week? This too ridiculous. I need solution from HQ.

Desired outcome: I want it ready by today. By hook or by crook, my car need to be done by today!

Perodua Slow service progress

On 10 June 2023, I had book an appointment to service the car on afternoon. However, I had waited for 3 hours for my car to complete the service. The other customers who came later than me already done their service but I'm still waiting. After the progress finally proceed to Cashier counter, I still need to wait for half an hour, just to do payment.

We were assisted by a sales advisor of Perodua that had requested for an amount of RM1000 deposit for processing of the car purchases. Thereafter when our loan application was failed, he went missing and to date have not had any response from him for the deposit we placed. This is not acceptable coming from a reputable brand. Perodua Vehicle having problem after service

I sent my Perodua Ativa (reg. no. CEM5051) to Roda Juara Service Centre in Malim on 2nd June 2023. It was just a routine 20K service interval which took 1 hour. However, during handover the vehicle to me the Service Advisor mentioned that they were unable to check the battery condition as their battery tester was faulty. It was a bit annoying to me as such a busy service centre and important tool is unavailable. Was there only one battery tester in the whole service centre and everybody is sharing it?

After receiving back my vehicle I noticed that it has suffered a terrible lag of power whereby I was nearly involved in several accidents when coming out of junctions. I called up the service centre on 3rd June 2023 around 2pm and spoke to a Service Advisor named Hafizi. After explaining my concerns and the serious power loss to my vehicle, he promptly asked why I did not test drove my vehicle during handover. I mentioned that they did not offer any test drives and merely showed me the new oil level (dipstick) and informed about the battery tester unavailability. I was handed my car key and hurried to sign the handover document. Hafizi then mentioned that since it was after 1.30pm and after operational hours, he was unable to help me without a technician's presence. I offered to drive the car to the service centre to prove my problem, but he insisted the matter to be solved on 6th June 2023 (5th June is a Public Holiday) and he is leaving for home soon. What on the first place that the service centre did to my vehicle for the loss of power? Is this how all your service centres handle customer problems, by doing the Tai-Chi method?

Desired outcome: I would like a response and to have my vehicle problem solved as soon as possible since I don't have another means of transport.

Perodua Product and service

I am writing this letter to express my dissatisfaction and disappointment regarding the issues with the car I purchased, as well as the unsatisfactory repair service. I purchased a new car on March 18, and on April 23, I discovered that the record player in the car had a problem. The USB interface was not functional, and the camera occasionally failed to appear on the screen.

Due to my busy work schedule, I made an appointment for a check-up on May 29 at 9:30 am. However, I waited for approximately two hours only to be informed by the technical staff that they were unable to repair the car immediately. They mentioned that it would need to be sent back to the headquarters, which would take around a month. This has caused me great inconvenience as many of the car's features and equipment are now unusable.

What further disappoints me is that during the inspection, other parts and equipment were damaged, and the repair personnel failed to inform me beforehand. Instead, I discovered these issues myself when I collected the car.

I am extremely dissatisfied and deeply disappointed with this situation. When I purchased this new car, I expected to receive a vehicle in perfect working condition and to enjoy the high-quality after-sales service provided by your company. However, the problems I have encountered and the service experience have fallen far short of my expectations.

I request that you address this matter promptly and provide me with a satisfactory resolution. I look forward to receiving your response and an explanation of the measures you will take to rectify these issues.

I hope you will take my complaint seriously and ensure that similar problems do not occur with other customers. I trust that you will take appropriate actions to restore my trust and rectify the issues with my vehicle.

Subject: Complaint Regarding Quality Issue with Vehicle Car Front Passenger Seat

Dear Sir/Madam

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction and concern regarding a significant quality issue I have encountered with a front passenger car seat I recently purchased from Perodua sales sdn bhd. I am eager to bring this matter to your attention in the hopes of finding a satisfactory resolution.

On 30/08/2022, I purchased a PERODUA BEZZA - 1300X (AUTO) from your authorized dealer, The front passenger car seat initially was good at the beginning, but recently I found the passenger car seat had slanted from left to right approximately 20 Degree. This causing uncomfortable to the passenger whose seat in the front passenger seat.

I had highlighted this issues to the perodua service jalan rasah located at Lot 500&1123, Jalan Rasah Batu 2 1/2, 70300 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. But they are pushing me back to PERODUA Service C&C Automobile located at PT2129, Sri Senawang Industrial Area, Taman Tengku Ampuan Najihah, 70450 Seremban, Negeri Sembilan due to my vehicle had encounter accident before on 23/10/2022 which my vehicle bonnet collides by another vehicle.

But this didn't make sense due to the collide part is on the bonnet and this didn't impact to the front passenger seat. I personally feel like the customer service and the foremen at perodua service jalan rasah didn't deal with my issues seriously and they keep pushing me around.

Since my vehicle is under warranty, so the front passenger seat should be claimable instead of purchase a totally new seat, since the front passenger seat itself already have this quality issue which need your highly attention.

I believe it is crucial to emphasize the potential hazards associated with a faulty car seat, as it directly compromises the safety and well-being of the occupant. As a responsible consumer, I expected the product to meet the highest safety standards, which, unfortunately, it has failed to do so.

In light of the aforementioned issues, I kindly request that you take immediate action to rectify this situation. My preferred resolution would be a replacement with a product that meets the necessary quality standards. Additionally, I urge you to investigate the manufacturing process and quality control measures to prevent such defects from occurring in the future.

I have attached photo of the front passenger car seat which is found slanted and need your prompt solution as soon as possible.

I trust in your commitment to customer satisfaction and the reputation of your Perodua brand. However, failure to respond adequately or a lack of consideration for this complaint will leave me with no choice but to escalate this matter by reporting it to the appropriate consumer protection agencies and seeking legal remedies to protect my rights as a consumer.

Perodua Unresponsive sales advisor

Hello. I would like to file a complaint regarding Perodua Unresponsive Sales Advisor from Ngu Chu Beng & Sons Corporation Sibu. Her details and our screenshot are enclosed as the evidences.

I have booked new Axia spec X on 6th February 2013, and she promised me about four to five months of car waiting period. I reached her via WhatsApp since 5th May 2023 and that was the day she hadn't read my messages. I followed up again today, unfortunately same thing occurred again.

Not only that, she refused to answer my questions and diverted the topic. The questions were not difficult like asking my turns, asking which number of queue I am now and etc. This makes me wonder if Perodua actually prepare their own listing of costumers who booked the cars as she refused to tell me this information.

I think that's all, Perodua. Please train your sales advisor to be responsive to our questions. If she can goes online all the time, why can she respond to my messages?

Perodua Whether I am entitled for a refund?

On 20/3/2023, my battery has broken down and I have called to Perodua Total free toll number to get free towing services. But, the officer said that my vehicle VBF9981 is not entitled to free towing service in their system. However, the system might not updated on that time. The officer said that if I confirmed that my car insurance was renewed in Perodua Total and entitled for free tow can pay to driver for car tow service first then claim it when reach service center.

However, when I reach Perodua Kajang Service center, the officer said that they never did this kind of claim and rejected my claim. Then the service center officer took the original tow receipt and help me request for refund. Now 15 May 2023, still no update on RM230 claim. I would like to know whether I am entitled for the refund or I actually got scammed. If I got scammed, please let me know so that I can file report to Police center. Thanks.

Perodua Leakage of oil filter in my myvi (purchased in september 2022)

I'm lodging complaint about the frequent leakage of oil filter in my newly bought Myvi car. I would like refer to the statement released by the CEO of Perodua regarding the same issue on 31st January 2023. It's clear in the CEO's statement that the problem of oil filter leakage is the poor quality of product supplied by the vendor (issues between supplier and Perodua) and its clearer that it's doesn't have anything to do with customers. Unfortunately, myself who has nothing to do with this issue, becoming the victim just because I bought the car from Perodua. In less than a month, my car has been experiencing the oil leakage problem (End of March 2023 and 26 April 2023) and this has created unwanted trouble both mentally and financially to myself. Every time I need to bring the car to service center due to this unexpected problem, I need to spend extra money on grab service to and forth from service center to office because of the longer waiting hours due to sending car without prior appointment. It's not my fault for not making appointment earlier as I can't anticipate when the oil leakage problem will occur. Moreover, I'm using the car for long distance driving and the safety issues are very important for me and my family while using the car. when I check at the service center, will this issue be solved once and for all, the answer I'm getting is, they also not sure and if it happens again, bring the car again for service (very easy answer) and when I asked about the payment, the reply was if within a month after service, no need to pay but if it takes like 5 or 6 months, then I have to bare the service cost due to oil leakage. It's totally unfair of Perodua to charge customers for the faults that done by supplier. The trust that customers had on Perodua is getting damaged by this kind of actions. I want this oil leakage issue in my car solved once a for all by Perodua and if it repeats or any harm brought to myself and my family members during the usage of the car due to this oil leakage problem, Perodua need to be fully responsible for the outcome and damage caused.

Perodua Oil filter problem

Actually very frustrated. Oil filter leaking and shown warning ready. Then, I contacted Perodua Service Tanjung Malim and explaining about the problem I was reported but the sales advisor keep telling about towing whenever my car still able move. Moreover, I just came for service last 8 Mac 2023 , how it possible to leak? For this the sales advisor told that problem came from the vendor of oil filter. Whole malaysia having the same problem because the oil filter vendor was not quality. We buy car for thousands, we service with our own money but provide a service like this. Really not satisfied
