I brought my vehicle in July 10 for a leak in the trunk. The technicians were not able to detect the issue and recommended the body shop. The vehicle was released but I called the service department back on July 14 because water had leaked inside the vehicle over the back windshield and speakers since it was released from AK. I brought the vehicle back in on the 7th of August because I just wanted it double checked for the new inside leak. Service again could not to detect the issue and the vehicle was brought to the body shop. I had asked if the vehicle can be dropped to Nestor since I have spoken to him about the vehicle already. I had clearly asked both shops if the vehicle can be in a covered area because of the leak. The vehicle had been sitting at the body shop area for days without being seen. Finally, I was able to reach Nestor after leaving several messages and insisting on waiting on the line. On Thursday, the 10th, we spoke and I earnestly asked him to put the vehicle on a covered area and put a plastic bag over the rear speakers. Nothing had been done to mitigate the leaks up until Saturday. I personally came in to find the vehicle in the same place, Nestor had never checked the vehicle, or placed the bad as mentioned and then I found mold. My vehicle just came out of a detail shop to remove the mold and now since service this last week, the stereo system does not work at all. There is no sound coming out of the speakers. This is unacceptable and negligent of AK.
Desired outcome: I would like a response to this issue, my leak issue resolved, speakers replaced, and detail reimbursement. This needs to be discussed and AK should be held responsible for the negligence.
2012 chevy silverado trans & engine issue
* 49, 723 miles - sludge buildup, pulled out engine to remove any build up and reassembled. Took 75 days to identify problem and correct...paid $5, 680...did they make all the proper adjustment after reassembling the engine? Causing the engine to sieze at 73, 500 miles?
* 68, 720 miles - hesitation and stuck at 3, 000 rpm, replaced spark plug. Took 45 days and paid $2, 143.
* 73, 285 miles - suggest to replace transmission, said no and they changed filter and fluids. Only 13 days and $545.
* 73, 500 miles - replacing engine! Turned in October 3, 6 days after transmission problem. Quoting $20, 700 for new trans & engine...
Dealer kept saying not service with them...but I am next door to one of their service partners! Attached summary sheet is from the Dealer's service department.
THIS IS GM QUALITY ISSUE...I SHOULD HAVE NEW TRANS & ENGINE NO COST!
