To whom it may concern:

People Whiz advertisement claims they will provide a complete report if you check yourself. They claim says the report will include Social media, Marriage, Criminal and sex offence and much more. I provided them with my name and paid $27.99 The report I received included arrest reports for other people with similar name but different middle names covering States I've never traveled to. In order to review the Sexual offender or other information in the report they require additional money. THis is a bogus company and their report is incomplete. I paid the fee using PayPal and plan to file a complaint.

Hey there, I gotta say, PeopleWhiz is pretty darn good. I mean, I was pretty bummed when I couldn't get the deets on my family members, ya know? I was really hoping to track down this total loser who stole my sweet ride - a '92 GMC truck that my dear ol' mom bought me right before she passed. And get this, the guy also swiped my son's wallet, which had all his important stuff in it like his ID and SS number. My son passed away in 2019, he was only 21 years old. So you can imagine how much I wanna catch this scumbag and get him off the streets.

But even though I couldn't find what I was lookin' for, I still think PeopleWhiz is a solid service. I mean, I was able to dig up some pretty useful info on some other folks, like my nosy neighbor who's always up in my business. And the best part is, it's super easy to use. All ya gotta do is type in a name and bam, you get a whole bunch of juicy details.

So yeah, I'm definitely gonna use PeopleWhiz again. Maybe next time I'll have better luck finding that lowlife who stole from me and my family. But even if I don't, I know I can count on PeopleWhiz to give me the scoop on anyone else I'm curious about.

I mean, come on, if you're going to charge people for a service, you should at least be willing to help them out when something goes wrong.

I gotta say, I ain't too pleased with PeopleWhiz. I shelled out a pretty penny - $2,799 to be exact - for some info on Taylor Hall, and what do I get? A whole lot of nothing. The records they got on him are all messed up - they ain't got no marriage or divorce records, and the address they got ain't even current. And don't even get me started on the city of birth - they got that all wrong too.

I mean, I get it, sometimes records can be hard to find. But if I'm paying that much money, I expect some accurate info. And what really grinds my gears is that they want me to pay even more money to get double the info. That ain't right. They shoulda been upfront about what I was getting for my money.

I received the same information like many people here. When I discovered it wasn't trustworthy, I immediately cancelled my subscription. That was denied, so I informed them I would deny it through my creditor. When I was using my computer a few hours later, more ads popped up. They had been posted 10 minutes after our conversation. The ads mentioned me directly and they led the buyers to incorrect information. I called them again and told them I would be speaking with my attorney. The ads disappeared within minutes... Fortunately, they're saved on my computer. My question to everybody is: how much can I sue them for?

I did a search on my records because I needed the date of a legal issue. I was lead to believe the initial $27.99 fee would provide it. Surprise! It provided just my name and birthdate. I needed to pay an additional $19.95 for that info I was seeking. Hated the extortion, but needed the info, so I paid this on PayPal, just like I paid the previous charge. I got a notice from PP that it went through, but the PeopleWhiz website said there was a problem with the PP account, please try again. Really? I didn't want to pay the first $19.95, and now they want me to pay it again? Nope.

I called their customer service number, finally got an agent and she said she could see where both charges went through. She'd refund my $, but it wouldn't appear for 3 business days. In the meantime, she wanted me to process this charge again. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? There was no working with her. It was either pay again on her word that I'd be refunded in three working days or nothing.

Obviously, this is a scam operation. I am requesting a thorough investigation from PayPal, and the refund of my money.

I am 45 years old and proud that I don't have criminal record today Wednesday September 21st My Girl Friend received an email from peoplewhiz saying that my report was in and that it has found multiple criminal records for my full name and this is untrue I've never had anything more then a traffic ticket. This caused an argument with my GF as I had already told her I don't have a criminal record but your email says I do and that has caused an argument and defamed my character and is now causing me emotional distress.

This organization does not represent corrected information. They list deceased family members, addresses never occupied. They hold open the possibility for scammers and other near do wells to access your information with impunity. They need to be held accountable for their misinformation. You need to jump through hoops and over hurdles to get your information removed. Check with the BBB now handling complaints about Southern CAL (Orange and San Diego counties). For a price, in time and money, need to verify your "ID" just to be removed from their misinformation. I suggest contacting the Federal Trade Commission and your US Senators to see what one can accomplish to remove fraudulent information, etc. Either they will regulate themselves, or we will have the FEDS do that for them.

My personal info was exposed through this website and as a result, I have had several encounters with fraudulent activity. The company has no right to reflect any of my personal info or yours for that matter, much of the information showed exactly where I've lived and currently living, relatives both dead and alive, etc.
I'll be getting an attorney and suing the [censored] right outta them!

This is a relatively new people search site. I found it through a pop-up ad. Since I abhor such sites that post one's personal info without prior knowledge or consent, I gave it a look. They have me both related to and confused with somebody who has a similar name, but whom I have never met and who lives in a state where I have never lived or had relatives. I went to the opt-out page and followed the procedure. At the end, they stated that I must fax, scan or send by snail mail a photocopy of my valid ID. This appears highly suspect, since driver licenses, passports and state ID cards all have unique numbers and other information that could be used for identity theft. As a warning to all here, I advise you not to send these people a copy of your ID. Instead, complain to BBB and FTC.
