So, I've got the same experience as everyone else with Paymentwall, Inc. Been playing black desert since it started and spent way too much on in-game stuff over the years. But out of nowhere, they decided to block my payments. I don't know if they just pick names out of a hat or what, but the way they block accounts is more about preventing fraud. I use PayPal for my in-game purchases, and it's all money I loaded up at local stores. When I asked why my PayPal is locked, they just give the same response that they need a photo ID and pictures of my PayPal. I couldn't get anywhere with support, so I gave in and gave them everything they asked for, but it's still not enough. It's crazy that they ask for so much info when I'm using money I loaded onto my PayPal. I mean, it's basically the same as using a prepaid card, right? Oh, and I forgot to mention, they did say I could use a paysafe card, but I've never seen one at any of my local stores. So, yeah, like everyone else, I'd stay away from this company. If Paymentwall is involved, count me out.

This company asked for a full picture ID and the whole credit card except for 4 numbers and the CVV. They don't really need all that info, like my photo, date of birth, license number, 10/15 of the credit card numbers, and the barcodes. What are they gonna do with it? Stalk me on social media? Check my credit? All they really need is to see my name on a government-issued ID that matches the name on the credit card I used to buy stuff, and even that they don't really have a right to. Their company rules don't override the rules of the credit card networks that they agreed to follow in order to accept credit card payments. I'm gonna report them to ***, Visa, and Mastercard for making me show ID to buy something, which goes against the rules of the credit card networks and isn't even allowed by California state law where they're based. I gave them a picture of my ID with my first and last name and my "driver's license," and the credit card with my name and the network logo, but they said it wasn't enough proof. So I sent them a screenshot of my card statement showing that I've spent a ton of money on this card in the past month, including my car payment, and they still said it wasn't enough proof.

We tried a trial of ExpressVPN in 2019 and cancelled before the trial expired. Now, we suddenly have a charge for it that we did not authorize or make.

So, we decided to reach out to Paymentwall, Inc. to resolve this issue. We found their website, paymentwall.com, and it seemed legit. We sent them an email explaining the situation and waited for a response.

After a few days, we finally got a reply from Paymentwall. They apologized for the inconvenience and assured us that they would look into the matter. They asked for some additional information, like our account details and the date of the unauthorized charge.

We provided them with the requested information and waited patiently for a resolution. It took a bit longer than expected, but eventually, Paymentwall got back to us with good news. They confirmed that the charge was indeed unauthorized and promised to refund the amount.

True to their word, Paymentwall refunded the money back to our account. We were relieved and satisfied with their prompt action in resolving the issue. It was a bit frustrating to have to go through this ordeal, but Paymentwall handled it professionally and efficiently.

Overall, our experience with Paymentwall, Inc. was positive. They were responsive, understanding, and resolved the unauthorized charge problem to our satisfaction. We appreciate their efforts in rectifying the situation and would consider using their services again in the future.

Paymentwall/Terminal3 is the payment gateway for Black Desert Online. Today I tried using their services and was asked to send a photo of my ID along with the receipt from Paypal. I did as told and was met with complete restriction from services. I previously had used their services on May 11th with no issue. I'd like to know what I did wrong and how to resolve this.

On 8/20/2022, I signed up for a year's service with Express VPN. They said there would be a 30-day trial, but it didn't work out for me. I reached out to Express VPN to cancel my service, but they won't give me a refund for the whole year. They told me, "You signed up for a paid subscription and we already charged you when you signed up." That's not right. Their website clearly says there's a 30-day trial. I only used it for 4 days. I want my money back.

This company keeps billing me, can't turn off autorenewal. I turned off autorenewal many times, but it stays on, like a never-ending loop. You turn it off, but it stays on. They hope you won't notice it's still on. Their system is set up so you can't turn off autorenewal. It's really disappointing because their VPN service is good, but they try to trick you with their dishonest billing tricks. The customer service agents are useless. Instead of helping me, they just keep trying to sell me more stuff.

Terminal3/Paymentwall is the payment gateway for Black Desert Online, both under Kakao and now ***. Under Kakao, Terminal3/Paymentwall held up charges after a big amount of purchases until verification in Q2 2018. This issue got fixed after the Paymentwall management team stepped in, without govt ID scans. They told me back then that verification is a one-time thing and I haven't had any problems since. Fast forward to now, ***, BDO is under *** and they are asking for verification again, even though I have the same billing information and funding source. However, this time they restrict access to game assets. I submitted my original tickets and verification keys, and asked about their "one-time verification" policy, but they ignored me. They disregard their own management team. When I requested copies of all my personal data as per my privacy rights, they also dismissed it. This company is inconsistent in their operations and policies.

This company, Terminal3, took away my ability to buy stuff from Pearl ***. I talked to them and they said it's because I had a problem with another company called Kakao. They told me I gotta cancel that problem if I wanna keep buying from Pearl ***. Terminal3 then asked me for my bank papers and a made-up letter from my bank, signed by me, saying I canceled the problem. I've bought stuff from Pearl *** before with no issues, so they're just trying to use this old problem to stop me from buying. Even Kakao let me back in, but this company still won't let me buy anything. This ain't right. I ain't giving Terminal3 any more info 'cause I don't know what they're gonna do with it or why they even need it.

The mod devs of Optifine use Paymentwall as their payment processor for donations that unlock special items in the mod. I used paypal to send money to paymentwall, which was an option they offered. But when I tried to do the same thing for my son, they said it was a fraudulent transaction and blocked his account. They want me to send them a copy of my driver's license and the paypal receipt. They even sent the money back to paypal, saying it was fraudulent, which messed up my paypal info. I sent them the receipt they asked for, but they keep insisting on getting my ID, even though it doesn't have any useful info for them. The receipt has the paypal authorization number and my email, which is the same one I'm using to talk to them about this issue. They still say they need my full ID, including the barcode part. This is unnecessary and they're going too far, because paypal already verified the transaction. They don't need my address, date of birth, or barcode info from my license. I've asked to speak with a manager multiple times, but they keep ignoring me.

Paymentwall, *** is the payment system for Black Desert, an online game. I've done lots of transactions in the past to buy stuff in the game using my PayPal account. Even my wife uses my PayPal account to buy things for her Black Desert account. But my latest transaction got blocked for some reason they call "fraud detection." So, I started filling out their "inquiry" and gave them all the info they asked for. They wanted a valid ID like a driver's license or passport, and also PayPal receipts. They wanted a screenshot of the PayPal payment confirmation that shows the date, amount, and a reference/invoice number that starts with "w" followed by 9 digits. I gave them my passport, but the problem came when I tried to send them the PayPal receipts. I searched my PayPal activity and transactions like crazy, but I couldn't find any receipt with that "w" number. I even checked my email, but there was nothing. Since I couldn't find that invoice, I sent them screenshots of everything else I had. But they just sent me the same message again, saying they can't accept the screenshots because they don't show the transaction ID they want. But that ID doesn't exist! I've looked everywhere. I did a transaction on October 20, 2022 for $10 USD on Black Desert online. I used my PayPal account like I always do for this game. I never had any problems before, but now Paymentwall blocked my transaction and my account. They want me to send a picture of my driver's license with all the details. I sent it, but they said they couldn't verify it because I cropped it a little. They still won't let me do transactions. They even asked for a picture of my face next to my ID. No other company asked for this kind of sensitive information. They say it's to prevent fraud, but PayPal already has this information. It seems like they want to steal my identity and my PayPal account. They even asked for my sister's credit card picture and a picture of her holding it for my nephew's account in September.

Payment Wall is the payment gateway for Black Desert. They stopped me from buying "Acoin" for in-game purchases, saying it's due to fraud detection. I told them I don't have a PayPal account and used my debit card through PayPal's secure browser. But they keep asking for my PayPal info. I've given them everything except for PayPal, which I don't have. This issue has also affected my husband's purchases. Maybe it's an IP problem? The help we've received so far has been terrible. They keep sending the same message without clarifying anything. This is the worst customer service ever. I hope companies using this system know that: A) PayPal credit card payment doesn't work, purchases get cancelled and refunded without trying to solve the issue; B) Credit card payment doesn't work with a debit card, even if the bank has no issues; C) They won't help customers in a timely manner or explain what to do. They just keep sending the same message until customers give up. "Verification for CID ***".
