I need a program for my classes that has to have verification from this company in order to get educational software and have sent them more than enough information to verify my eligibility but have been rejected every single time. The customer service is slow and very limited. I need this software for classes within 3 days and have not had any success getting help.

This company is terrible. Telling a Veteran they are not one because SheerID doesn't know how to read a *** is a bad move. According to SheerID one cannot be both a Reservist and a Veteran. Anyone... Anyone... Bueller... Any company who uses SheerID to verify Veterans status is one at which I will not shop. *** just lost a customer- I'll go to ***, etc.

Entered my information for healthcare worker discount on shoes. It says I have exceeded the amount of verification attempts and says I have redeemed or attempted to redeem this discount already. I have never heard of or entered any information on SheerID until today. The promotion I was interested in is also time sensitive and impossible that I have attempted to use it prior today.

Received email saying verification limit exceeded to get teacher discount with *** Everything worked fine until an account was actually opened up. Suddenly, an excuse of verification limit exceeded is the reason Im not qualified for the discount. Sounds like a scam. Offered discount before opening up an account. Once the account is open, Im no longer available because of verification limit.

An automated platform with zero customer service response. It is unacceptable for a business in this sector NOT to have a telephone number for human interaction and explanation/resolution of issues. Email-only based interaction allows SheerID to offshore the "limited" human review of submitted documents and problem resolution. Customer reviews are even lower than Been Verified's 3 Star Customer rating.

Zero stars. I followed their directions exactly to verify my student status and was told the proof was insufficient. If the document I submit has the all of the information requested, on one page, how is it insufficient? I tried to contact the company for clarification multiple times but it's impossible to talk to an actual human being. Trying to do business with these people has been a gigantic waste of time.

The North Face has a promotion for 50% off select items for healthcare workers. I have repeatedly sent in 1) recent pay statement, 2) my State license, and 3) a copy of my driver's license. These are all documents they say are acceptable to be "vetted" and get the coupon. Repeatedly they have denied my within 20 seconds as "documentation is not sufficient" with no reason. I have sent multiple emails over several weeks asking what more I must provide. This is nothing but a scam.

One of the most dishonest and completely inept services offered online. The fact that legitimate companies use this sham is surreal. You can send in multiple documents that attest you are you, and you are either in the industry that you are asking to verify, or that you are a student, and they DO NOT process your application. Also, there is no record that the consumer has any proof that the documentation you left won't be sold to third party venues, etc. This company, or whatever it is should be investigated by law enforcement.

SheerID does not appear to be able to process documentation because it is not able to review information that reverses first and last names. Nor can it comprehend documentation accepted in the banking industry to verify military service. This is a recurring observation by several other Veterans. If the company is charging by request they may also be over billing as a result requiring multiple submissions and not being able to properly review the documentation provided. To further exasperate the problem the company does not list a telephone number or respond to contact form request.

Stay away from companies that use SHEER ID! WHY WOULD THEY USE SHEER ID? Business model is to create as many barriers as possible. They will ask you to submit multiple forms of paperwork to prove that you're a first responder, teacher, military, and then deny, deny, deny. They said that a DD214 AND a state drivers license indicating Veteran status was not acceptable as proof as being in the military. REALLY? Is there a more acceptable document than a DD214? Please let the us know. What is the purpose of consistently putting up barriers to approval? Just a simple search for SheerID complaints shows that issuing expired codes to first responders, teachers and military is a consistent business practice. I've gone through it six times already this year and every response (lie) is always the same, so much that they have canned responses to this ready to go. Any positive reviews of this company is false and generated by employees to help the company.

Just trying to get a medical professional discount on ***. What a pain this has been and a complete waste of time. I submitted my nursing license that was issued from the Missouri State Board of Nursing. Denied! I submitted my work ID badge that has my work place, name and photo. Denied! I then submitted my License Verification Report (that every medical facility that hires a RN uses to verify that a license is current and not under investigation) that includes my name, type of license I carry, if it's active, and expiration date. Guess what! Denied! I then re-sent all forms of identification (as listed above together) to prove I'm a practicing RN with a valid and current license along with my photo ID! Denied! I have used ID Verify Me last month without any problems. Sorry ***, but I will be taking my business elsewhere. SheerID has cost you a customer. I have been trying to purchase a pair of short for 5 hours and still have not received an email back. Extremely poor customer service!

I submitted documents to SheerID to show that I qualify for *** Premium Student deal. I submitted 2 documents that contained my name, my enrollment date, and my status as a student, one of which was signed by the curriculum director of the school. The letter clearly stated that I was actively enrolled. After I contacted customer service, they emailed me telling me that "the request was rejected because we would be needing a genuine and official document to prove your current enrollment status." In response I sent them my term registration letter in addition to everything I already had sent (which already fulfilled their requirements) and I haven't heard back since. SheerID is always a pain to use, and it seems that this time their service representative didn't even take the time to read my documents. Because this is taking so long, *** started charging me full price.

Have had recurring issues with this company in attempts to get military verification for ski deals for my spouse and me. They make it very difficult to contact them and responses are either non-existent or come back so late (weeks, not days) that the deals are no longer available. There is no customer service phone number available and must rely on email. When I have complained to the company making the offer, they always tell me they hear a lot from military members how SheerID is so hard to work with. Their website falsely claims responses to emails will be within a couple business days; however, I have sent multiple responses and have only received one reply and that was after weeks, not days. If backlog issues exist, the company should be more honest about it. Disappointing that my spouse will be unable to take advantage of an offer he deserves only because SheerID is so poorly operated.

I often use my military discount for ***. Since the end of 2020 I have had nothing but issues. When I go to verify my information to receive the discount I get the message 'Limit Exceeded.' Each time I have to email Sheed ID customer service and exchange 4-5 emails until the issue is resolved. I'm always told that my verification is pending and additional documentation was needed even though I only get the limit exceeded message. The fact that I have to contact and communicate with customer service over a course of days, as well as, upload documentation on top of documentation, is really disappointing. Ever since *** went to the 7 day instead of 30 day discount renewal this issue has arisen. I have often missed *** sales or items go out of stock because I am back and forth with Sheer ID trying to get verified. This is unacceptable for a customer. I also only have this issue with *** and no other store brand using Sheer ID.

I was recently denied from using a military discount by a merchant based on not being registered in the sheerID system. Until then, I had never heard of sheerID. I am active duty and had my ID card with me to verify my identity but since I wasn't registered online with sheerID, I was still denied. I emailed sheerID customer service to ask: - How are shoppers supposed to know to register for a verification service before shopping? - Why can't the merchant verify my identity onsite with a valid ID? I received a response asking me to send official documents to verify my military status but not answering the above questions. I have not received any notification of an affiliation with the DoD and SheerID and I caution against sharing any official documents with an unauthorized service. I don't think this is fair nor do I know how this is being communicated to many other service members that they need to sign up for a verification service prior to shopping.

Here is an email I sent to Sheer ID who authorizes *** military discount because the system was not working. To Whom It May Concern, I have not received the text code after I have verified my email address on link sent by Sheer ID and ***. This has happened many times now and then I contact *** and they send me back to Sheer ID. I have complained to customer service and this needs to be addressed ASAP. I have stated that Under Armour's system works much better. I need an answer today as this has continued to happen. Thank you. *** I received an email back from Jon Andrew R (Sheer Id) who needed to have a copy of my military records. I have sent this to them multiple times and they are on file. I sent them again and then received an email back that now they need my government id. I am not comfortable with this entity to have everything my address, driver's license info, my discharge information, SSN, Date of Birth. I am highly concerned!

Called ***.resent.doc not offical.reach max attemps

I verified with SheerID on 3/1 for Nike.com. I was given a discount code and as soon as I got the code I went to check out. The code didn't work. So I thought maybe certain items weren't eligible. I emailed SheerID and was told I needed to contact Nike because they couldn't issue me another code. I contacted Nike and Nike stated this code had already been used on another account prior to them issueing me the code. I emailed SheerID again to tell them what Nike said.. Agent told me the code could have been issued before but recycled. Ok so can you issue me another code.. Agent said No and I need to wait until 3/8 to redeem another code. I've waited and waited. Now it's says that I've exceeded my limit and I can't seem to get another code. I've missed out on shoes for my children because the code you sent doesn't work and you won't fix the issue. I even had my husband try to get a code and it states he's exceeded his limit and he has ordered any shoes since last summer from Nike

SheerID is not verifying my student status so I can receive a discount. Firstly, their website did not process my documents and give me my verification status. When I reached out to their customer service AND support teams, I barely received a response. I was asked to send documents verifying that I am a student, and after I sent them the documents multiple times, they responded essentially saying the same thing in the first email they sent me (request for documents). I sent them my documents yet again, and included additional documents just in case, but I still have not gotten a response from any of their teams. I do not understand why they cannot verify my status or simply COMMUNICATE what they need from me to proceed. Their customer service and communication is horrible, and they are unable to do their job. I have been waiting for two weeks just to make my purchase so that I can use the student discount, but apparently it is too difficult for SheerID to do their job (bare minimum).

I can not get one person to email me back. I am a healthcare worker, licensed in two states. I recently was trying to apply for a discount to healthcare workers as long as it could be verified by SheerID, so i submitted BOTH active licenses showing my credentials and i got an email saying they weren't able to verify which is weird because back in May, i was instantly verified by them. So i emailed their "customer service" email and a day later, someone told me i needed to "prove my current employment"- however i do not have an ID card as i work for a private dental practice. If ID cards aren't the only way, it was not made clear to me at all by that email. When I asked what other form of proof I could show (because my license is apparently not good enough for them), i never got an email back. I tried emailing twice more and i still have not heard anything. This is absolutely one of the worst customer services i have ever dealt with and incredibly frustrating as this is the only option to contact them.

Sheer ID advertises and markets to confirm your identity and involvement with particular organizations. I submitted my picture identification card as requested. Despite representations on the timing of their responses. They failed to timely respond to their advertised policies. I have attempted on several occasions to contact them without success, despite getting automated replies if they will respond within a couple of days.By requesting personal information, they are establishing a contractual relationship with the consumer and by failing to fulfill their representations, they are engaging in fraud and misrepresentation. They have an obligation to act in good faith and their failure to utilize confidential private information is a violation of the contractual agreement between the consumers. I believe their conduct violates the Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Laws And by judging the number of complaints, a class action suit may be appropriate.I have no other choice but to also contact the consumer affairs departments of the various participating retailers who utilize this business to let them know of the adverse impact their relationship is having on customer opinions of their company.

SheerId does online military verification. I am retired military with three dependents. I have been trying to get ski passes for my three kids through *** which uses Sheerid for verification. I have not been able to get my dependents verified through Sheerid. I have sent several request for assistance with one response from Sheerid to go to my computer and clear my cache file. Several more emails to their customer service center telling them this didn't work and the issue is with all computers I have tried. Sheerid has yet to respond to help me with this issue. They have no other way of contacting customer support. This is only the second time I have come across the Sheerid verification system and it has been a pain to get verified with them. Sheerid controls my information for online verification and will not respond to help me resolve this issue. Sheerid's lack of customer support is frustrating. Other ski resorts that I have purchased passes with use ID.me and this system works and has great customer support. As of now I can't purchase military passes for my dependents because of Sheerid lack of customer service. I wish business didn't use Sheerid as their verification system since Sheerid is so difficult to work with.

My military status was verified well over a year ago. In between Sheer ID stopped it. After I complained, several weeks later it was reactivated with no request for additional information.. Now they again state "Unable to verify using the details provided. Please check your information and try again." Only their standard generic response. If backlog issues exist, the company should be more honest about it. Sheer ID is very poorly operated. (My husband spent 13 months in Chu Lai, Vietnam sleeping in a tent at the end of the runway where the jets, including his own took off. This caused him to have partial deafness and yet he refuses to ask for disability over his retirement pay. Now to say for the second time that something isn't valid is ridiculous!)
