I would not recommend using PawnAmerica for any purchases, as they clearly do not value their customers or their reputation. Save yourself the hassle and find a more reputable company to do business with.

So, I went to Pawn America on the east side of Madison and let me tell you, it was a pretty good experience. The person who helped me out was Kelly A. and she was really nice and knew what she was talking about. I got some jewelry and it was a good deal. I'll probably go back there again sometime. Kelly seemed like she really liked her job, so that's cool. Thanks Kelly, you did a good job!

PawnAmerica is a great place to shop for quality products. They offer free shipping and their customer service is top-notch. I've bought over 150 items from them and most of the time everything went smoothly. However, there were a few times when I had to return something, but they were very accommodating and provided a pre-paid label for the return. They also refunded my money promptly.

One thing I really appreciate about PawnAmerica is their tool bargains. They have some amazing deals on tools that are sometimes like brand new, but for about 40% less than retail. It's always a good idea to read the entire ad and check the photos with the magnifier before ordering, just to make sure you know exactly what you're getting.

I ain't going back to Pawn America. Them reviews is right; there was only one person at the counter to help folks outta like 5 or so windows. Lucky for me, I went at 7pm on a weeknight, so I didn't have to wait. I brought in a 2-year-old Insignia NS-40DR420NA16 40" Roku TV in excellent condition and they only offered me $50 for it. That's a bunch of baloney 'cause I coulda easily got $150-$200 on eBay or Craigslist. I know they gotta make a profit, but $50 for a nearly new smart TV is just plain wrong. I reckon the only 5-star review on here is from one of their own employees.

I mean, come on now. If you're gonna run a pawn shop, you gotta offer fair prices to your customers. Ain't nobody gonna keep coming back if they feel like they're getting ripped off. And don't even get me started on the lack of customer service. One person at the counter? That's just lazy. They need to hire more folks to help out, especially during busy times.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Pawn America. I won't be going back and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else either. If you're looking to pawn or sell something, I suggest you try somewhere else where they'll treat you right and give you a fair deal.

I've been a customer of PawnAmerica for over a decade now, since 2009. I have to admit, the only reason I use them is because they are the only pawn shop I have ever known. However, I have to say that my experience with them has been less than satisfactory. In fact, I would go so far as to say that they are one of the most horrible and sleaziest businesses I have ever dealt with.

One of the biggest issues I have with PawnAmerica is that they will lie to you about the value of your items. I have brought in items that I know are worth a certain amount, only to be told that they are worth far less. They will also not acknowledge what you may have received from them prior, which can be frustrating if you're trying to get a loan on an item you've already pawned with them before.

But the biggest issue I have with PawnAmerica is their management. They are simply disgraceful. Let me give you an example. I once brought in a $1500 Movado watch with all certifications into the shop, and they tried to give me $40 for it! When I called them out on it, they suggested I bring in another item of value. So, I took the watch off my wrist and showed it to them again. But even then, they refused to give me a fair price for it. I had previously pawned the same watch at the same store for $150, but they told me I couldn't get that amount this time. The manager then went so far as to say, "Why should I give you $70?"

Now, I'm not the type of person who is easily dissuaded. But in this case, I was powerless. The manager then went on to say, "Let me just keep your ring!" Needless to say, I will be retrieving my ring from this location. Additionally, I will be looking for other similarly situated individuals in order to bring a class action against PawnAmerica.

If the management is reading this review, let me tell you: we are coming for you! In order to leave a review, you are required to give at least one star. But in my opinion, they should be in the negative category. Real talk!
