--We were offered a cash deal of $615,000 for our house in its current condition. We agreed to this offer by signing a contract with the company, which stated that the only way out of the deal would be if a significant issue was discovered during a home inspection, as the terms were "as is." --Knowing that we were in the process of purchasing another property and that time was crucial, they purposely delayed scheduling the inspection. --However, on the day of the inspection, they unexpectedly called us and informed us that they no longer wanted to buy our house, stating that they should have informed us earlier. This sudden change in their decision puts us at risk of losing the condo we have under contract and potentially losing almost $10,000 in earnest money. --They provided no valid excuse for their actions, other than admitting that they could have informed us earlier but chose not to. --Furthermore, they failed to provide us with a copy of the contract, despite us trusting the agent to do so.
