Gave us a year to build which was fine. Then Covid hit and needed more time which they agreed to but didn’t honestly mean. Then my cancer came back which really pushed the timeline back. They were understanding until we ask for a refund due to the fact I can no longer walk to a barn as I’m bed ridden. All they care about is your initial down payment. This company is nothing a piece of [censored]. Get a legit builder if you need a barn

I received exactly what I paid for. All expectations were met and I am very satisfied with my new building. The building looks exactly like the 3D rendering. Some times they don't answer the phone right away at the office but *** always responded to my emails in a timely manner. Which is great because I am not the most patient man when it come to poor customer service. *** was able to supply me with exactly what I needed to have a smooth permitting process. The installers were polite, professional, and efficient. They completed my building in 1 day! I spent all day onsite inspecting, and trying to find any issues I could while and after they were working. No issues. I have had my building for a few weeks now and the shop/gym is looking great. I would recommend Big Buildings direct. Installation was in southern Az.

I ordered a shop through Big building direct because of the 170 mph rating they claim. That has been determined to be a false clam. As code enforcement pointed out there is no rake trim tying the roof to the *** ends and when I called big building about this they claimed this trim is not part of the kit. But if you look at everyone of their *** videos and 90% of their pictures it has this? not to mention the installers putting the walk-in door 8 away from were is it was supposed to be.and 9 of roof overhanging off the *** end. A big dent in the roll up door and the guys smoking weed on my land. I dont care that they smoke just dont get high and then walk a 2.5 pipe to the peek without fall protection. At 16 and concrete below its not going to end well.. and after going through this well see if big building direct and *** make it right like they say they are.

I had such a positive experience with Big Buildings Direct, specifically Big Al I had to share! I shopped around quite a bit and spoke with nearly a dozen other metal building companies that serviced North Carolina and did my research. Big Buildings was upfront and set expectations about what to expect and helped answer my questions from pulling permits to getting my concrete foundation poured. Big Al was very helpful and offered suggestions that other reps did not. Even with this corona crap going on I still got the exact building I've had pictured in my head for the past 18 months and got it before summer, the wife and kids love it and I will be working with Big Buildings for another project this winter for my father in law. I was hesitant buying something like this online since I'm "old school" but am very pleased with the final outcome. Only hiccup was my engineered drawings took a little longer than expected to get but I gave Al a call and he got it done.

Ok, so I did a lot of research on this, and found BBD online. A bit hesitant, but really good, then did some due diligence on folks that had gotten them. All very impressed. Dealt with ***, amazingly responsive, prompt, patient and worked with me on multiple iterations helping me maximize cost versus need versus want. So ordered a 30x50x14 with a 15 ft lean-to down 50 ft length of building. Cost was in my mind very fair and more competitive than my local guys.. I ordered vertical sides vs horizontal. Within literally 2-3 weeks they were ready. Amazing and folks here told me anywhere from *** weeks. Their guys showed up on time and in TWO DAYS were finished. Building could not be better. I was so impressed I turned around and immediately ordered a matching 24x30x10 Carport that is equally impressive. Very solid construction. Two friends have already ordered even larger buildings from them after seeing mine. Highly recommend them. As communicative a company as I have ever worked with, whether email, phone or text. Cant say enough positives.

My building is 30x50.i was ready in August and scheduled for beginning of October. I was dealing with installers UMB (Universal Metal Buildings). They never answered their phones and when i did get in contact, they kept saying next month. This went each month until December when they said it would be in the spring when they would install the building. I called Big Building Direct to speak with my sales rep *** I was told he moved and *** was my new contact. *** was awesome he told me he was going to make some phone call and see if another company would install the building. *** called and said a company they use New Team Carports will install the building. New Team Carports call that day and said they will be installing it at the end of January. They call January 4th and said they were installing on the 14th and moved the date up. New Team Carports showed up and was so professional, they were fast and worked long days in terrible weather. Not on complaint with them. Thank you, ***, for the quick response in handling the problem.

You cant get a building from these people. They will sell you one, but only provide you with an open air carport! Because they dont have doors- fact they dont disclose until after they have taken your money and scheduled the delivery of your building. Then they will give you false promises as to their anticipated arrival. Still no doors for a building ordered in November! Mind you I cancelled the building in writing and received acknowledgment the very same day that it was ordered. Two days later, they ran my credit card and informed me they couldnt cancel because it was already in production. Then in January, when we asked for a status, they told us it would go in production once we sent them a picture of the slab. Now how did that happen- since it was already supposedly in production in November! I am told that I was in my legal right to cancel that first day, as this was a major purchase. They will ignore your verbal and written inquiries for updates. Buyer beware! This has been the worst project, I have ever had the misfortune of being involved in! Would not recommend.

Placed an order in January 20. Everything seemed great, the order process and color selection was great. Then I made multiple phone calls after a tentative April install date and not hearing a thing from them. Called in June, called in July, called in September. Last week they still couldnt tell me when my building was coming, they couldnt find out from their manufacturer. After almost 9 months, I told them that I needed to keep my project moving with or without them and if they didnt have answers Id like to cancel my order. They asked me why? They couldnt cancel my order because there was no manager there. He never called me like I had asked, there has been absolutely no communication or emails from them, and they have my $230 deposit from January. I have left a voicemail for their manager last Wednesday and still have heard no response. Very disappointed in this company, their poor communication, and how they conduct their business. Ended up spending a little more money and buying an Arrow from Northern Tool and it is expected to arrive *** days. Definitely be very cautious ordering anything from this company or any of its advertising.

Contacted this company in June , paid a 4285.80 deposit for a 36x36 shed during that time period and was told that the construction will be during September 21 and then a again in by December 4. As you can see by via this claim, that has not happen. I had members of my team constantly reach out to lady name *** who is the building specialist for the company and my team has had several conversation with her, but still no shed. They have had my money nearly a year and no results. They don't call or communicate with you unless you call them. Have left several messages with her and received a couple of calls back with promises that were never kept. She even gave me a contact number to the company who are supposed to do the actual installation. I called that number and left a message for a *** and she has yet to call back. I am now preparing to file a civil suit against this company for breach of contract and I am also contacting the *** office to investigate this company for fraud. At this point I just want my deposit back and to move on. I am located in Fayetteville Ga. They know who I am and clearly taken advantage of another customer.

Signed a contract with Big Buildings Direct, LLC ("BBD") *** for a building agreeing to pay for applicable permitting, uncovering the following scam. BBD *** contracts with *** Systems, LLC ("***") for installation. However, *** will not the building permit to be filed with the county. It requires the buyer to use a "Permit Expeditor" to sign on their behalf. *** contracts with The *** to sign on their behalf. However, buyer must pay $400 to The Permit Tech to obtain ***'s signature on the building application. Wiithout this signature, buyer cannot file the building permit. I confronted *** of BBD, ***, owner of ***, and ***, owner of The ***. on this conspiracy to extort $400 from consumers for a useless service--obtaining a simple signature for $400. They would not budge. I was willing to pay permit filing costs per contract with BBD. However, I did not agree to pay unnecessary costs to support a conspiracy. As BBD was required to obtain the signature of their chosen subcontractor, ***, but failed, they breached the contract and I backed out. BEWARE of this unscrupulous collusion.

Super skeptical at first buying this big of purchase online. I called in & talked to a very kind man at big buildings that was able to walk me through everything I needed to make this shop a reality. The first thing he did was recommend talking to the permit office about some permitting issues. This was great advice because I found out the biggest building I could have was 1500 square feet. Once I got that information I called back and started the design process of the building I wanted to maximize my square footage but at the same time get the best bang for my buck. They were able to help me with recommendations on how to save money and trying to upsell me the whole time which was nice. After we finished the design I put down the credit card which was quite scary. The next week they were able to give me Generic engineered drawings to take to get permit I received the permit the same day. Then I had my brother in law pour the concrete pad to the same specs that the drawings showed this was very basic and easy. Finally called up scheduler for installers and told them I was ready for installation they told be it would be 4-8 weeks because they had lots of rain. We got lucky though they called us in 2 weeks and said they could get there in 3 days would I be ready. I was ready so they came out and installed my building. It was way better then I could imagine for 13K I just built a house so I know 13 thousand does not go very far. Great job appreciate the all the help

From the the Beginning, Big Buildings Direct has been SPO On.For. Me, The most important aspect was then ability to order the building to my Specific Dimensions.Due to my build site restraints I searched long and wide for a company that didnt have the Heres our Sizes and Door locations, take it or leave it. In my research, *** is the ONLY one that would do that, and another important thing aspect was the siding Ribs running vertical, as opposed to Horizontal. I didnt want a cheap looking commercial style building.Choices of colors was another one, and I could go on and on.Now lets get to *** after the Sale.Phenomenal.Due to the current situation with COVID, ii struggled to nail down a Concrete Contractor who would actually show up. Yes, I had ten different Self proclaimed Contractors fail me.Anyway, long story short, I finally was able to get the slab poured and ready.From there, it was absolutely effortless. The Crew from Eagle Carports contacted me when they said and then put my Shop up with such efficiency that I was amazed.The quality of the building itself is beyond my expectations, and Im going to enjoy my shop for many years to come.Thanks again to *** and *** at Big Buildings and *** at Eagle Carports for making this happen.Heres the bottom line. Big Buildings Direct is the Company to buy from to get the exact building for your Wants/Needs, and as a bonus, the Quality of materials is superior and the prices are hard to beat.

I needed an affordable metal building to house my boat and travel trailer. I contacted many companies and settled on BBD because they were forthright and clear in what they would do and fair in their pricing. My biggest concern was buying online from a company in one state and having it supplied by another company in my state. There is always a communication concern between all three of us. BBD required a deposit and the balance upon completion and satisfaction. Scheduling was a little stressful due to availability of materials but we were finally on schedule. The crew that erected the building was top notch. They knew what they were doing and very craftsmanlike in their job. They wanted to do it right, and they did. I think my building is outstanding! My wall studs are double thick - two steel studs welded together. The building is strong, square, and solid. I saved several thousand dollars over competitors lesser buildings. My salesman *** was great and hung in with me all the way, putting up with all my calls and concerns. He gave me the best price that he could.The only problem was that I had to supply the lift the crew needed to lift the rafters and 12 garage doors. This was part of the communication problem because I was told that the lift would not be needed. It added $800 to the cost of my project. Luckily the rental company forgot to pick it up and I had it for a week and paid a one day rental. Believe me, the crew needed the lift!All in all, a great building and I am extremely happy with the whole experience.

Tampa Location. Purchased building on 04/09 w/ a nonrefundable deposit of $845.60 in which the building was supposed to be provided within 10-12 weeks. On 07/15, I cancelled order after conversing with company and was told that they have no idea when they will be able to complete the order due to steel shortages. Received email on 07/16 confirming that since the job had not been scheduled, they have no idea when they would be able to fill the order. In these circumstances refunds should be given. Seeking full refund considering no materials were transferred.

This company is an absolute fraud. Started the process in April, they took my money in May, promised a building in the beginning of July (at the latest), now here it is almost mid August and nothing. Further, after some investigation, I found that they overcharged me just to sell the same Eagle Carports buildings that other vendors sell. Now *** (my sales rep) won't even respond to my emails. Money is gone and I also have a $7k concrete pad I poured with nothing built on it... It has been sitting empty on my ranch in KS since April 23rd. I'll definitely be filing a suit, but in the meantime, I'm stuck with this nightmare.

I ordered a 25x24 garage threw BBD in March with deposit of $1600. I was patient and understanding during Covid. BBD is a middleman, who past my order to Lone Star metal, who then pasted it to TNT carports. No one can give me a install date beside by the end of August. We are now at the end of August and still no install or even a estimate date. No one answer At BBD. I received an email stating if I cancel I won't get my deposit back because Contract says no refund after 48 hrs. But if they aren't providing the service expected then that should NOT fall on the consumer. It's not my fault that 1 year and 5 months later they still haven't build the product. This is a scam. They take the deposit and don't follow threw with the orders.

Hello, I have put down a deposit for a metal building in which was to be built however, the building was turned down by the zoning board of my town and is unable to be constructed. The deposit was in the amount of $3221.50 on 08/17. Due to the COVID outbreak, my town was not able to get me a court appearance until June this 2021 in which they notified me that the building would not be allowed. I needed building plans to provide the town and engineer and Big buildings direct would not provide me building plans unless I gave them a deposit. I was told that the deposit would be refundable if the building could not be resurrected. I've reached out to the company and have not heard back any resolution. It seems they are quick to take customers deposits and do not provide much customer care.

Big Buildings Direct was the middle man for a purchase of a metal building between myself and ***. *** created a quote for a metal building with 65psf/115mph snow and wind load. A purchase order was written up and a down payment was supplied based on the total amount of the building for $3284.00. When it came time to have the building installed by ***, I was told that the metal building, with the snow and wind loads required by our County had been cancelled because they did not make a building with the specifications promised to us by *** at Big Buildings Direct. *** Carports didn't tell us our building was cancelled until we went to have it installed. I contacted *** and he informed me that it was past the 3 months and that I could not have my money back. *** on behalf of Big Buildings Direct purchased a building that didn't exist so regardless of time, I am due a return of the down payment.
