Partsology This company is a total scam!

This company is a total scam! They operate from a P.O. box and then pass your order to another company. That other company can't even confirm if the parts are available, and they will send you something completely different just to fulfill the order. Find another place to shop, seriously!

Partsology I bought a head gasket kit and timing chain kit for my 2015 Kia Soul

I bought a head gasket kit and timing chain kit for my 2015 Kia Soul. However, when I received the package, it only contained a timing sport shaft. I contacted Partsology to request a return label and inquire about my other order. They informed me that both orders had been delivered and there was nothing they could do about the lost box. After about three weeks, they finally sent me a return label. When I called them again, they said they couldn't reimburse my money because they couldn't locate my return. These guys just took my money.

Partsology I got a timing belt, water pump, and tensioner kit (SKU: ***) for my Audi A4 Quattro from Partsology

I got a timing belt, water pump, and tensioner kit (SKU: ***) for my Audi A4 Quattro from Partsology. I installed everything and drove my car for around 20,000 miles. Unfortunately, the timing belt suddenly snapped, causing serious damage to my engine. It's an interference piston to valve engine, so all the valves ended up bent. It's really disappointing because the belt, which was sourced from China, was supposed to last at least 70,000 miles according to the recommendations. My engine is now completely ruined.

Partsology Faulty parts, no compensation

Faulty parts, no compensation. They cut off my review. They sent me an email on August 20th, but they claimed it was sent on August 3rd, saying it exceeded the 4-day limit. I only received the email on the 20th. They got mad at me because of my review and removed it, saying it didn't meet their standards. Your darn parts all failed in my car and didn't meet my expectations. I've lost almost a hundred dollars and my car still isn't running. They won't even consider reviewing it! RUN AWAY FROM THIS PARTSOLOGY SITE!

Partsology So, yeah, I was skeptical of Partsology at first

So, yeah, I was skeptical of Partsology at first. I had a 2000 VW 2.0 non-turbo that needed a total rebuild. I came across a total rebuild kit through Partsology (the actual parts were DNJ brand, which stands for Domestic & Japanese) at a price half of anywhere else. I didn't have much to lose (bought the car for $150), so I ordered the kit not expecting to be impressed.

Long story short - everything came exactly as described in the kit, fit perfectly, not one problem. Got the engine finished and back in the car, and it runs perfectly. My mother-in-law ended up buying the car from me and drives it daily. The rebuilt engine has maybe 10,000 miles on it by now, and there are no issues.

Now, I wouldn't be putting these caliber parts in a big block race engine, but for a normal day, they're great. Another time, I bought a cam and lifter set, head gaskets, and timing chain set for XXXX X.0 gas motor. The parts came as described. I ended up going a different route, and Partsology refunded me the full amount after the parts sat on my desk (in the original box) for 9 months.

Partsology I ordered the rebuild kit (EK530AM) from Partsology on 1/10 and specifically requested oversized pistons and rings

I ordered the rebuild kit (EK530AM) from Partsology on 1/10 and specifically requested oversized pistons and rings. I sent an email right after placing the order. The next day, I received an email stating that they didn't have the oversized pistons and rings and suggested sending back just the pistons and rings for a "partial refund." How can you rebuild an engine without pistons and rings? I declined their offer and insisted on a full refund. I asked for a prepaid shipping label four times, twice through email, once over the phone, and once on their website. I also inquired about replacement pistons if they became available, once in February and once three days ago. They assured me twice via email and once over the phone that they would send the prepaid shipping label, but it was never sent. They completely ignored my inquiry on their website about swapping pistons. The last email I received from customer service was a generic response that had nothing to do with replacing the pistons. Now, on top of everything else, I have to bear the cost of shipping it back for a refund, two months later, despite their promises to send a label. I strongly advise against using Partsology because they don't fix their mistakes.

Partsology If you're thinking about getting an engine rebuild kit from Partsology but you're unsure because you don't know much about their brand or had

If you're thinking about getting an engine rebuild kit from Partsology but you're unsure because you don't know much about their brand or had bad experiences with other companies, don't worry. I've been a certified tech and owned an automotive business for 20 years, and I've ordered lots of rebuild kits and auto parts from different places. Let me tell you, Partsology is the best company I've ever ordered from. The quality of their parts is top-notch, their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the delivery was super fast. I got my order from California to Pennsylvania in just two days, and it was free! They also have a great selection of complete kits and valve grind kits. I made a mistake with the pistons I ordered, but returning them was easy and fair. I had to pay for the return shipping, but they covered the shipping for the correct ones. Great job, guys! I really appreciate the live service reps too. Sincerely, Dave.

Partsology I really need a timing belt tensioner for my 2014 Chevroler Cruze Diesel

I really need a timing belt tensioner for my 2014 Chevroler Cruze Diesel. These parts are all sold out and on back order everywhere, EXCEPT for Partsology and another ebay seller, RushMyParts. These two sellers are totally taking advantage of the situation by fixing the prices, even during these tough times. Partsology has DNJ part # TBT346A listed on ebay for $500, and RushMyParts has it listed on ebay for $999.99. It's just so disgusting, especially considering that anyone who owns this specific car, the XXXX-XX Chevy Cruze Diesel, is left with a worthless and unusable car if it needs the timing belt service right now. How can they treat people so badly? Mind you, this timing belt tensioner is actually a pretty cheap part, usually around $50-70 before the pandemic. My local Chevrolet dealer quoted me less than $900, including parts AND labor, to do the whole timing belt replacement job, which also includes the water pump, idler pulley, all new coolant...and they even throw in a new AC Delco serpentine belt! And these two terrible sellers want $500-1,000 just for the tensioner? I hope everyone reading this understands what these people are doing with a part that only a few people need, but those who do need it are completely screwed when a seller does this. Don't give Partsology or RushMyParts (ebay only seller) any of your business. *By the way, I talked to DNJ engine parts, and they were shocked to hear about these two sellers engaging in price gouging. They were happy to receive my email with links to both ebay listings, and they immediately forwarded it to their department that deals with Partsology, their authorized retailer. DNJ didn't know about any of this before, but they thanked me for bringing it to their attention. DNJ seems like a good company, so please don't associate this review with them.
